I love that even though Dick and Bruce have their problems Dick still loves and respects Bruce. Not just as a hero but as a man and father. Bruce took him in and helped him avenge his family's death so Dick wouldn't end up like Bruce. Bruce helped Dick in a way he could never help himself. Dick turned out a better man cause of Bruce.

I've always loved that part of it. Bruce couldn't save himself from his trauma and the havoc it causes to his life, but he did save Dick from it. Dick is, imo (and one Bruce agrees with lol), one of the best heroes in DC and Bruce helped him get there.

Yeah I love the fact that there is still great respect and love between them even tho Dick knew he had to get out from Gotham and being Bruce's sidekick, not because they had a falling out, but because both realised his understandable need for independence and to some things his own way in the crime-fighting game, plus he gets to help more people in a different city now or even manage the next generation of troubled teen Supes in the Titans.

@@SaraSG1 Yeah, I just meant in general. Like Damien did a good number on him. I know he was holding back as to not hurt him, but it's just weird. Nightwing is very close to Bruce in terms of combat. Like scary close. He's beaten him in fair fights a number of times, so the fact that he gets bodied in other fights is just dumb. But that's alright. This showcased his other attributes well.

Doesn't make sense, the entire point of this scene was that he became just Batman after what Thalia did. Nightwing was invoking Bruce Wayne. The man, not the mask.
