This is how I view the rell seas community personally. Rell Seas Enjoyers: - Hyped because it looks visually pleasing. To be honest, we've had multiple bandit beater games and I realized that core gameplay or good combat had less influence over the success of a game than the graphics, map design and VFX/Drip designs. Time and time again with these one piece cash grabs, people still support them with a concurrent of 5k players purely because the VFX/Models look nice. I'm convinced making your character look cool and strong can solely carry your game to the top and that's been ingrained inside some of these people's mindsets. They see nice armor and weapons and go, "The entire game looks good". - Realized that the games they have been supporting are all just the same thing over and over with different skins (reskins of the same game). Sees Rell Seas as something Arcane Odyssey could've been if shined under the One Piece theme. These people have hope for this game because they love Roblox but cant decide what they want to do on the platform. Rell Seas is their saving grace because they cannot find a game to enjoy outside of Roblox. Rell Seas Critics: - Hate the game because of the reputation of the Rell Brothers. They had a tendency to bounce back on their word as previously shown in Shinobi Life 2 (before release and after release). They also proved to not be able to take criticism good, as proven from past records. They are improving in this but some people just don't give second chances and these people aren't giving any to the Rell brothers. - Worried that the fruits will carry the game and create a marketplace similar to GPO's. GPO's cunning and profiteering trading community is one of the worst if not the worst marketplaces on roblox. - Worried about hitboxes and fighting fruit transformations, they expect to see the same outcome of people fighting perfect susanoo in Shindo Life. (You dont, you run and spam auto tracking projectiles at eachother that has a big explosion vfx and you cant even see what you're doing anymore) - Overall just is used to being disappointed by big potential projects time and time again that they don't want to spend much energy being excited incase it all goes wrong. - KZreadrs creating these videos of "Rell seas being not worth it" after they glazed it so much either for drama views or to lessen the backlash they receive if the game turns out bad.

also for those who are interested in when the rell brothers has ever went back on their word in Shindo Life/Shinobi Life 2, here are two things I have on the top of my mind: 1) Before release the rell brothers said lowest rates for KG (Rinnegan at the time) were going to be as low as 1%. This apparently was an attempt to make rates easier compared to shinobi life 1. However what happened was, not only are they not 1%, they're displayed as fractions so in reality if converted to a decimal it would be way below 1%. (talking about the 1/200 or 1/500 rarity kgs) 2) The recent free bloodline bag code. They announced they were releasing a free bloodline bag code for all people to claim which was shortly changed to a requirement to be in the group and have a total prestige of 97 times. The community had a massive bruh moment over this because not only do you have to grind to MAX-50 prestige, you have to grind until level 1000 each time in order to prestige and for a free bloodline bag, its honestly not worth the trouble. To note, people who already have over MAX-50 prestige already probably owned a BL bag so there was no point in claiming it either. (Btw, if you used the code without knowing this information, you cannot use the code again so rip.)

SwiftDFG has been milking rell seas dry for content and honestly if i continue to see the glazing its gonna honestly make me tired of hearing about the game, i went from being hyped and excited to “oh here goes this again”

I'd just like to say. Rell Seas in the starting days, back when they first showed a taste of the combat, it was already looking better than most games. The hair already had animations and tons of other great looking fluid animation. The fact that Rell Seas has already surpassed most of the platform without being in development for like 5 years is ridiculously impressive. HOWEVER, just because a game looks that good does not mean it will be that good. Not to mention there is tons of other factors aside from visual pleasure. A game can have good functionality and visuals but terrible grinds and whatnot. A prime example of great function and visual but terrible grind is GPO. The main difference between Rell Seas and GPO being one is a bandit beater and the other claims not to be. At the end of the day all we can do is hope that Rell Seas can at least live up to 80% of the hype.

i agree with your point and here is another example for you aopg (a one piece game) the trashiest name there is and this game is full on cash grab and models they didn't even try to hide the fact that the game is a cash grab they have over 20 gamepasses and got the worst pvp and pve just spam buttons worse than blox fruit since there is almost no stun no ragdoll no nothing but they got the best modals out of every game in roblox

the only problem i have is the progression its bc of how slow its gonna be with compared to other methods of progression your definitely not getting the same amount of exp when chopping trees compared to fighting bandits but every thing else is fire🔥

The game seems fun and will hopefully break the god damn bandit beater loop but yea there seems to be a lack of originality but a combination of every game is pretty cool ngl

I think the fact that that just playing the game progresses you forward might just be like some games already out. Like fishing isn’t gonna give you bunch of levels, it’s gonna give you a bit of xp. Same for cooking or any other small things you can do in the game. Early game this xp is gonna feel like it’s significantly progressing you level wise. But after you Hit a certain level this xp isn’t gonna do much. It’s might be like opening a chest in genshin. Yeah you’ll get xp for fishing but not enough where your like “damn i almost leveled up lemme keep fishing” Just a theory though

I'm the kind of person who loves to cook, and the fact that they added cooking as a form of progression makes me love this game

I feel so dang bad for the 3d molder I They have to experience basic hell modeling those insane models

I completely agree with you, the community is crazy toxic!

Call me a yapper for this but I had a really deep thought about how games can be more interactive to the game environment and the community I really wanted a game that had some small but cool features like that of the Ship Customization to at least make the players be more varied and stand out as well as the bounty system like that of Arcane Odyssey while at the same time have quests that arent just pummeling NPCs to the ground over and over. I am really hoping for an RPG game on Roblox that is willing to ambitious and content filled without having the need to fill the game with gamepass overload. I wish people would try to implement a feature where every blacksmith/merchant npc is completely different, think of it as like npc merchants that have specializations. Same can be applied to Blacksmiths where they allow weapon customization as well as an upgrade that costs materials you need to grind from doing other activities e.i. mining, woodcutting and etc. I would really discuss more but y'all might smack my dumbass

I think the problem people have with rell seas progression is that it seemingly doesnt seem much better than other systems at its core. Its cool that u can do multiple things to progress, however 1. One or two forms of progression could easily be way better than all the others and then make the whole thing pointless, and/or 2. Each progression could also be just as boring as fighting npcs, so ur effectively cycling through tons of boring progression systems. This could be made even worse if only one or two forms of progression are actually fun and the rest just arent. The idea on paper seems good, but it just has so many ways to fail. I still think this progression will be better than most roblox games, since taking a break from fighting mobs will always be appreciated, but i could still see the progression in its entirety being subpar, especially comparing it to non-roblox games: we just wont know until the game comes out.

The problem l have is these people who say 'nobody is going to fishing for hours to progress'. Your not supposed to fish for hours it's something you do once in a while as a quality of life which also makes you lvl up. eg: your hungry so you go and fish, you cut down wood to make a fire, you cook the fish and eat. You lvl up 3 times from doing that, 1.fishing 2.chopping wood 3.cooking. Another example is when you need a couple of money or your waiting for your friend, just go fish for a while 'not for hours' then go sell. You have already leveled up 2 times from that 1.fishing 2.selling. The point is to just survive normally which makes you lvl up like crazy fast. It's not so you grind for 'hours' but for you to progress by just surviving and doing things normally while exploring the game.

i don't think you understand how it's gonna work. while obviously fishing will never be as fun as some other progressions, it doesn't need to be, some people wanna fish or some people are just fishing at the moment, what makes the progression great is that you can just do whatever you want to do and STILL progress, you can go hunting or in general grind stuff and still progress. even if there are only 2 good ones, that doesn't matter as the main thing about the system is that you WILL at some point fish, or do anything else and you still will be progressing, or you just want a nice change of pace and then can still progress. i'd much rather have like 8 progression types with all of them being eh, than only 1 progression that is great.

@Copingeditor my point was never about having to fish for hours or anything, my point was that these other forms of grind could end up being pointless if only a select few end up being fun and/or actually good for exp. This would be made even worse if the types of grinding that are a necessity, like cooking, weren't very fun or beneficial exp-wise, because it means ur taking time out of the more enjoyable parts of the game to do something boring. Its gonna end up feeling like a job rather than a short break. Im not saying rell seas will end up like this, but these are valid concerns. I get what u mean, it's highly unlikely ur going to be chopping down trees for hours on end, but at the end of the day if no forms of progression are fun then ur just going to be cycling through boring content, whereas if only one or two forms end up being fun and/or good for exp its just going to make the other forms become neglected and break up the flow of ur playthrough if they are ever required of u to do.

​@@jeffboy4231 a lot of what ur arguing is stuff that MIGHT make the progression better, what the progression MIGHT be, but we honestly just dont know what its like because the game isnt out yet. what i was arguing were just possibilities that would give people a valid reason to be sceptical of the games progression. at the end of the day if the progression types arent balanced properly (meaning some are just way better than others) and if most/all of them arent fun, this system falls flat. it might be better than the progression we have gotten, but depending on the person it could either be somewhat better or just as bad. its theoretically a good system, but it cant save a bad game's progression. some rell seas haters will use this to try and say the game is already bad, but people with actual brains will mainly just see it as a way the game could possibly fail. basically what im saying is that this system isnt THAT much better than just doing only one thing to grind (at its core at least), it needs to be implemented into a game that compliments it in order for that difference to really be apparent. u cant just implement any random system into a game and expect it to make ur game way better.

It will be good if you made a video talking about deepwoken, rogue lineage and permadeath games

i just want to play and test it out myself and only then i will rate if its good or bad

i wish they add hunting progression and fighting styles

After seeing what Rell Seas can do in maybe a 4 years or 5 years, Its so clear Blox Fruits isnt even putting in their full potential yet people are eating it up, and if the community shows the Devs Low Effort Projects are alright, the Devs will treat it as such, and drop their standards because their saving time and money altogether. Thats why as soon Rell Seas released the New Boat Fighting Gravity, Blox Fruits was on it, and dropped probably their fastest update yet, and covered it up as "we've been working on this feature for a little while now." Not to mention roblox is like a secret funder to Blox Fruits their showing clear bias to Blox Fruits in this situation,... And I mean rightfully so their tryna make their money, but it feels like roblox is trying to push back Change, and you cant stop Change, and the Change is what will be called the Rell Seas Effect. Naa but people are definitely hyping it up to much, and if it doesnt reach standards its over for Rell Seas, they be given the permanent title of OVERHYPED GARBAGE

I rlly hope Rell Seas does change stuff, because Blox Fruits had so much impact on Roblox that everything is just a copy of it, but there jsn’t any actual effort out into it 💀. There isn’t any recent one piece games other than Rell Seas that have actually put effort into making something unique. BUT that reason is why the glazing needs to stop. If Rell Seas isn’t 30x better than Blox Fruits (even after update 20 part 3) then it’ll go back to the old ways of blox fruit copies, and we could only blame the Rell Seas glazers.

I truly do not understand people who hate small quality games because some big game made by a big studio overshadows them. Just because you think your game made by an ACTUAL development studio is the best game on the platform, doesn't mean you have to blindside every up-and-coming passion project.

I feel like there isn’t going too be playable severs on phones ranging from iPhones to androids like iPhone with low data and low performance sure I may have an iPhone 8 but blox fruits has low data usage and sure low quality Visual models but I could play it sure tell seas is high quality and provides an option to not bandit beat for levels and maybe sure they will add mobile support because they could have update delays also techyOp could you talk about my comment even though you have many

Im raelly excited for rell seas as a huge one piece fan. However, seeing the amount of people of this magnitude hyping up the game and calling the game in currently in absolute shit has beensuper annoying. Like, this aint even limited to one piece games, I see them EVERYWHERE

Finally a KZreadr that isnt hating on a masterpiece

The problem l have is these people who say 'nobody is going to fishing for hours to progress'. Your not supposed to fish for hours it's something you do once in a while as a quality of life which also makes you lvl up. eg: your hungry so you go and fish, you cut down wood to make a fire, you cook the fish and eat. You lvl up 3 times from doing that, 1.fishing 2.chopping wood 3.cooking. Another example is when you need a couple of money or your waiting for your friend, just go fish for a while 'not for hours' then go sell. You have already leveled up 2 times from that 1.fishing 2.selling. The point is to just survive normally which makes you lvl up like crazy fast. It's not so you grind for 'hours' but for you to progress by just surviving and doing things normally while exploring the game.

The movie filled the purpose it was made for. Plus Rellgames made Shindo Life which is an amazing Naruto fanmade game if not one of the best. Plus they have made a lot of popular games on roblox which are now forgotten but still. Lets give them hope, they are trying.

I think rellgames are adding too much features in their game. I mean it's good but they can just save it for other updates, since im scared that they'll be soon out of content and stop updating the game😢😢

Personally I dont love nor hate rell seas. Im hopeful for it to be an actually fun and good experience. I havent seen much of the rell seas movie mostly cause I wanna go in blind. Bottom line I like rell games as they have good games in my opinion. Shindo life i spun my life away but they made it so you didnt really never to buy anything in the game since everything could be gotten for free and if not then wait a little while and it will. Rell seas looks way better and honestly from what bits ive seen looks a lot more fun than shindo.
