The Worse part I think is.. If you even dare callout the stuff the devs do so many people give you hate for it... I tried to tell people the update might not be that good like weeks/month before the update released.... I was one of the people that milked this update like crazy (mainly because honestly what is there to do in a game that barely updates?) so I really had high expectations.. but when I first saw the mammoth trailer I knew it was GGS.. and they probably lied to us again.. some of the cope I saw was "They obviously wont show everything in the game" "They Could Be Hiding it To Surprise Us" "Its Just a trailer bro Why would it have everything" "it would be split in multiple parts".. BTW sword rework models should not take very long to make I had a friend of mine basically make 7 models in like 3 days from the concept some blox fruits worker had. and my friend wasn't even that good.. IDK how people can defend a company that is realistically earning so much more money than probably all of us combined x 2 yet still manage to deliver mediocre stuff like this.. IF YOUR A TRUE FAN OF THE GAME YOU SHOULD CALL THEM OUT.. thats how it is.

Yeah it was a disappointment my friend got me into blox fruits a whole 6 months prior I tried to grind and get control because of the rework they promised pretty sad when I didn't see it. And they were late on the ghost update cause it came out 2 to 3 days after Halloween and then they messed up the whole schedule they had afterwards

I understand about the grind in 1st and second sea honestly we should be getting 4 lvls each quest instead of 1 in my opinion it’s the PvP that carry’s the game so why not help them lvl up fast to get stuff to PvP with also another thing is I wish the random fruit dealer was only in second or 3rd but now every new player that join thinks they need a fruit just to grind

3:47 I completely agree. if devs were at least transparent about what's been going on behind the scenes then sure, it would be easier to not gnaw at them for leaving us in the dark for months on end, but they just don't, and it's ridiculous. Prime example of this is Phoeyu, the guy literally keeps us in the dark about everything, provides no context on updates, or the rate at which they're being produced. Rell Seas isn't even out yet and they're already 99% better than most of these games which have been around for years. It's not a good look. like, seriously.

Well to be honest it's actually so great that we have someone that has a mind that says the truth not like other people that will just protect a game that they like

I like Blox fruits, grinding is a pain but playing and competing with my friends will always be the best experience for me. But no, this update hardly changed anything. They changed fruit models, made some plushies.. included bosses, and changed some fruit and sword models, and added what? Two new fruits? I thought the game would add fun features that would make the grind less boring, or in the very least make the game much more enjoyable.

I started playing the game last Christmas and gave up after the Christmas update was removed because it took to long to grind without the 2x boosts I was buying from the Christmas shop with the candies

Blox Fruits didn’t update for a year because they were preparing a bunch of future updates after update 20, not only update 20.

Friend, I'm from 2 months in the future, and all they did was release kitsune and t rex, with t rex being genuinely one of the most lazy fruits i've seen put together in a game. And there is no dragon rework, or any other rework in sight at the moment. Here's the biggest takeaway though. If your player base after 3-4 days can complete all the content you added while turning their brain off, you don't have a good update, period

They should literally just make grinding easier honestly the player count would increase tremendously with that one update

Nah it would decrease. Because the devs made the grind long to make people(kids especially)to spend a lot of time on it and since the grind is so long.They would stay on it for a long time.

I feel like it was really this update overhyped cuz everyone thought everything into was fitted in all in one update but what i think what could've saved it from being mid to being good if they added the reworks to the maps

Haven't seen the video yet but I think they promised a whole rework of the first map as well as a rework for all the swords And what did we get? 2 new fruits. "Oh but the visual effects are cool now" that was a 6 month wait for flashy visual effects... the new sea stuff is cool but doesn't justify the time taken to release it

Blox fruit's anti cheat moderation is so bad that they're doing it in public servers and unless one of the few admins himself is playing the game in the public server and by chance sees one of the millions of people exploiting, only then they ban them and the only other option is to take evidence of that one person exploiting and detail that and how they did it and report it in their community 💀 They're doing the bare minimum in literally *Everything*

Blox Fruits don't care about giving a good update cuz they don't have to. Its like Pokemon; can release anything and ALL fans will just consume.

The Devs confirmed the update would be in parts months ago, when Zioles talked about the future of blox fruits. And the island remodels, sword models, fruit reworks, new fruits, and new progression are confirmed to be releasing before the end of the year.

They promised alot and in the end they didnt release half the stuff they said they were going to release, not to mention how it took 14 months to release something that you can finish in 3 - 4 days (from getting anchor to beating leviathan, unlocking the boat and getting saguine) Also the new sneak killed it for me, seriously? They are releasing the part two in 2024, 14 months + delay and we'll have to problably wait more three months to get new content, just hoping that rell seas release in november so it can rush those lazyass blox fruits devs

It is so hard to level up in this game its horrible. I have been working for a whole day of time over 2 weeks and Im at the first sea at level 336

i really didnt like that they said "oh this update is separated into parts" cause i knew the map reworks werent coming only 2 fruits new island and some other things but of course they had to lock the map reworks in a future update like if everything released at once i think that the game would be at like 1m players daily for like a good 1-2 weeks

Honestly i loved the update, I was so glad to see the sword reworks as the only good sword was cdk or dark blade, every other sword was just worse, but to see garbage or mid swords like ttk or pipe to get buffed and be some of the best swords in those seas is nice to see. And sea events were lacking im not gonna lie, it was practically sea beasts as no one decided to farm ship raids, but with leviathan and more things to fight in the seas makes the update good.

Great job covering the update, really just looked into the eyes of every player and how mid this update was Like the 2 new fruits are basically the new Leos, made to be easily used with little effort/spam I wasn’t too hyped about it because it’s well…Blox Fruits, and the sword previews were the only thing I was hyped about it, only liking rengoku because it was a little easier to combo When you started discussing Blox Fruit’s empire at 6:20 It really can get someone to look at the game and be like: “wow, so this is the game running Roblox rn?”

funny thing is when the update came out i was like" oh all this new stuff is cool but they were gonna add weekly updates too right ? let me check their social medias!" and i scroll down to 2022 AND THEY LITERALLY DELETED THE MENTIONS OF WEEKLY UPDATES

well i loved the new sword reworks, the sea events is pretty good i might say, and overall pretty decent

*that's why I'm waiting for my boy Rell Seas oh boy its gonna change the platform*

One thing that drives me nuts is mirage hunting. With all the new sea events, it makes it impossible to find it! Mainly because 5 terrorsharks spawn at u at once. And then u just die and have to go all the way back. It’s just a cycle now trying to get v4. U get in a boat, u die and it repeats. Earlier I found it, and then 3 terrorsharks spawned in and killed me. So yeah this was a mini rant kinda idk what else to put

Blox fruits changed to that childish fruit style was because they’re making plushies based on fruits to appeal to kids who would want to buy it. Notice how they put the update countdown on the same site they promoted the plushies? It’s all part of the plan

i mean i can see ur point but from a game dev perspective its overwhelming with content cause you have to rework and model new bosses, fruits, ect and the mammoth model is very high quality they took a really long time with it as an example.

Blox Fruits Update 20 was HELLA OVERHYPED for a whole Year just to be the worst update they could've done in that time period, bare minimum.

You were mostly correct except for the part where you said "they confirmed it was going to be multiple updates right before release" which isn't true Zioles confirmed that a long time ago in the video titled the future of blox fruits But everything else i agree with.

I took one look at their mammoth fruit and realized that shit was overhyped

They did not say it was multi part last second they said it back in march or april 🤦‍♂️

I could definitely agree with blox fruit being fun with friends but they need to add more content for single player or just anything really. The content the game has is very much just barebones

The only thing that makes me really really mad is the fact that they still haven't released any of the new sword models

Blud forgot that devs saying they split the update into half WAY before the release

In the next part i want islands, sword models, and accessory abilities

As soon as uodate 20 came out i was ready to see the new rework with the maps and swords but moat the did was revamp the abilities and add mamoth and sound i was kinda disappointed but still i dont think my phone could of handled it anyway🤣

Im not saying its terrible like i came back to play it it wasnt that bad but the fact that we just got clickbaited this much

First of all, it WAS actually mentioned by Zioles that Blox fruit will be receiving weekly updates and small reworks and adjustments so I suppose you might be wrong at 0:34 Edit: I corrected myself for what I said earlier, I just watched the entire video, and for your flawless argument, I'm subbing. The argument you stated actually made solid sense, though for the fact that the game is decent as is, but new adventures and unique quests could be added to give a committed fanbase who can genuinely boast that the game is good. The abandoning of the second and first sea at which was promised a rework was not delivered, and I don't think keeping the fans waiting after they waited almost an entire year since February shows signs of loyalty to the fanbase.

Bro when they said "ancient beasts are coming to bloxfruits" I thought like 5 new ancient zoans like dinosaur sabertooth tiger etc but they only added mammoth

in my eyes its good you gotta remember its not easy to do a update of this caliber although everyone has mixed reaction but bro u dont know how hard it is imagine how long it took for tbe devs to finish one fruit like they revamped every fruit which now looks cute and has good animation which is not easy to do the devs probably released this update so the players got something to do which worked very well but the main highlight of this update was the swords the enchants and everything makes us sword mains happy!

Glazing level 10000000. Rell seas has way better models and animations FOR EVERYTHING BY THE WAY and the game has only been in development for about ONE YEAR and its already got more content than gpo, more content than blox fruits in a year mind you they also have the best visuals, best pvp, best animations, best models, and probably the best game mechanics out of any one piece game on the platform. Blox fruits devs are just lazy and their game is a shitty cashgrab simulator kids game you have to accept that.

They're lazy and put out the bare minimum and they have a lot of really expensive gamepasses its a plain cashgrab, and you cant even suck at the PvP its literally just having the best stuff and knowing a good insta kill combo if you cant accept the fact that your favorite game is overhyped trash then thats your problem bud🤣
