The law of Jehovah is perfect . . . making the inexperienced one wise.-Ps. 19:7. Without the Holy Scriptures, our primary teacher would be personal experience. With personal experience as our teacher, could we ever have the same sentiments as the psalmist had toward “the law of Jehovah”? The sad reality, though, is that some have allowed the love they first had for Bible truth to cool off. (Rev. 2:4) They no longer walk in the way that pleases Jehovah. (Isa. 30:21) That does not have to happen to us. We can and should work at maintaining our appreciation for the Bible and its teachings. The Bible is an important gift from our loving Creator. (Jas. 1:17) What will help us deepen our appreciation for “the word of God”? A key is reflecting on how Bible writers were guided to write the Scriptures. That involves calling to mind some of the abundant evidence of its inspiration. Doing so should stimulate us to read from God’s Word daily and to apply its counsel.-Heb. 4:12.

I was pretty impressed by the message of this video. There seems to be the pervasive view that whatever we feel or think must be true. Yet, this video discusses how the Bible teaches those who read it about God, and that lets them find out if such feelings and thoughts are actually true. Thanks for that!

+Kyle S. ...the issue isn't Uzzah, it is your response to the human dilemma..."the soul that sins dies." Jesus died for your sins...call on Him. Repent (turn from your sins) and receive Him.

@ Agnes Philomena yes they should love others, but they rarely do love people. Love in it's truest deff. is a choice of self-sacrifice to benefit others even if there is no reward for the one doing the self-sacrificing. And almost nobody does that.

When I was 6 I had a friend, whose mom lived with a woman and this to me was normal I did not see anything wrong. Until God allowed me to read the bible at age 6 to see that He created a man and a woman to multiply the earth that is when I said who am I going to believe. I started to read KJV at the age of 6 to this day every day and now I am 54 I believe God’s Word. I was known as a latchkey kid and only God who is Jesus raised me with His word. I lived in a non-black area and I was treated horribly by many because of prejudice feelings and only through Christ could I understand and forgive their ignorance. Why would an adult tell a 6 year old horrible things about the color of my skin to make me feel inferior because of her fears. God who is Jesus appeared to me many times and helped me with so much in my life to this day there is no way I would choose the lust of the world knowing God’s way is better. I met my late hubby at the age of 14 became a widow at the age of 24. I raised 3 sons in the Lord who now are in their late 20s early 30s and these young black men put God first, are still virgins, finished college, working at great careers one a teacher, another a chef, and my youngest is a programmer who judges EVO events and they all enjoy what they do plus make a great income. These young men gave me no drama and honestly lives for God not the world. I never remarried, and I do not live in lust I do not have sex outside the marriage and I refused to go against God’s word. God does say this is possible because His seed is in us and we do not want to sin which this is true. People rather lust in their flesh than live peacefully doing what is right. My parents did not force me to read the bible God used me to save our whole household he used a 7-year-old who read the entire bible to save our household. To this day I read the bible daily and apply this to my life which my life is peaceful by the grace of God. Many say the bible is hard to understand this is false they just do not want to read the bible. If a 7-year-old can read the entire bible and practice what the bible says by the Holy Spirit than anyone can do the same. People go to hell because they rather please their flesh than to please God.

BORN AGAIN Angels in heaven are created with the freedom to do everything under the sun except commit suicide. For doing harmful sin kills the spirit and forfeits eternal life. And so, why would angels being careful to not do suicidal sin, show any kind of loyalty or love? Loyalty toward God is the same thing as faith toward God, for it is faithfulness to the will of God. Which is using our time, energy and wealth to act in harmony with his laws and moral requirements such as helping the poor. Surely, loyalty, faith and faithfulness are not love, as they only give back to God a small portion of what he gave us. "We love because he first loved us." Because God gave us existence, life and being, because he gave us everything we are and everything we have, it is impossible to love God unless we give him something he does not have, something he cannot create and something that only we can create. The most painful and mind paralyzing experience known to man, the pride destroying admission that we are not a self-sufficient man that can take care of himself, that there is no way that we could make it on our own. It is the most degrading humiliation of achieving the self-effacing mindset of excepting a debt load of gratitude impossible to repay. Such that never again in clear conscience can you own anything, that everything you have belongs to those who have less and most guilty do you feel it ever you miss an opportunity to give all you can give.

In no way am I trying to start a debate, but where in the bible does it state tatoos are a sin. When the bible talks about how our bodies are not our own, but a temple of the holy spirit it is pointing to sexual immorality where we are sinning against our own body. I am open to other evidence
