the plasma caster could act like myers or ghost faces stalking where you slow down and build up the charge my having line of sight on the survivor but unlike stalking they get notified and they can break line of sight and the charge would start lowering but once predators charge is full and locks on and has line of sight the plasma caster shoots and guarantees a healthstate so it'd kinda play like a slower tricksters knifes but doesn't require aiming predator can be a vision based killer with thermal vision and be able to find vantage points to gain line of sight on survivors

Here’s my idea. While invisible, the blue sparks and shimmers should always be visible, and the invisibility should have a battery. But, you can attack survivors while it’s active. This can help differentiate him from Wraith, while also keeping him balanced because you can see him moderately easily if you are observant.

it's a mushroom, but it's a good idea. they could also slightly hinder themselves while under its influence like in the movie, making it more of a choice than "i must have this at all times" like sadako's videotapes sadly, they often only use one specific source (like the xenomorph is based on the first movie) to build their powers

Could have something similar that if they run too much, they risk running their blood flow and therefore increase body temperature. Advocate for killer that survivors don’t run too much and instead push more for walking and crouching. Maybe the cannon from Predator could serve as a form to blind survivors. Would really toss the game up and make it a different experience, imagine survivors being blinded by a killer. That’d be hilarious

I think a cool passive for Predator would be that when you stun or flash him he gains various buffs(This plays into the honor code of the Yautja and since you attacked him he sees you as a threat therefore a worthy prey)

I was actually thinking about how the mori would work because they can't kill and he would only be able to hunt and put them on the hook and it would have led to them having to make the predator be a rogue or be Berserk. Now that you mention that, I think his Mori should work in a unique way that ties into the honor code where if he's "attacked" in anyway like getting stunned or if light is shined on him, the mori would activate. Now going back to his honor code, I'm not sure if the mori would allow him to kill only the survivor that "attacked" him or if the mori would work normally. To be fair, even though he should be able to only kill the survivor that "attacked" him, considering that trials allow the survivors to gang up on the killer to survive, it would make sense if he saw one attack him and assume all the others would do the same. So story-wise and I guess gameplay-wise, it's bad getting hooked and sacrificed to the entity every game, but one survivor could fuck it up and make it worse for everyone by giving the predator a reason to kill them

I think first the predator will have to be a bad blood as the Yautja are big on honour. And secondly to set him apart from different killers is to give him a good amount of gadgets. And also covering yourself in mud is not blackface it's just covering oneself in mud.

Using mud in this context isn't related to blackface at all. Anyone who genuinely thinks that is looking for something to be offended at.

I always thought that dbd could add alien and predator and make an event about them like the famous 2v8 game mode but would add new changes like having the 2 killers compete on who would have the more sacrifices and kills

I would love a mode like this, however I don't imagine DBD's spaghetti code would allow this 😂. If we ever made this a mode, I think it would be so much fun. Imagine that if the killers ever met in the realm they could fight each other! If a killer gets hit by a basic attack or 2 special as attacks they are stunned for a certain amount of time or something. I think killers should be able to interact with each other in a strategic and non toxic way.

I personally want the Predator just for the Predalien skin. Also the Predator from Prey would be an awesome skin as well.

I NEED a Predalien skin for Xeno and then for Predator I’d absolutely love the main berserker predator from Predators as a skin, that jawbone mask is too cool, plus the berserker predators use single blade wristblades, so that’d be neat too.

Predator concept: Who is worthy? At the start of every match the Yautja gets to decide who the obsession is. When chosen the surviver the Yautja will yell and the match will start. Broken Cloak By tapping left trigger you will go nearly invisible. In cloaked mode you also gain infrared. The killers cloak is broken there will be yellow effects around u and ur not completely invisible. You can only stay invisible for 30secs. In cloak you can still attack but as soon as u attack wether u hit the surviver or not u get stunned and get decloaked and yell reseting ur timer back to 0 so u have to wait 30 seconds to cloak again. Trained Yautja By holding down left trigger u start to charge ur plasma cannon it takes 10 seconds to lock on to a surviver and if a successful hit it deals a damage state survivers can avoid the lock on by going behind objects.

Haven’t even watched the full video yet but I agree with you Schmuckles

right predator already has a game, they should let other iconic characters have a chance like chucky candyman and pennywise who never had games to do them justice

Well with the mud idea is a good idea but there will be some people who will probably try to do the same thing they did with bubba. So maybe to hide they can find clokes when put on can not be seen by the predator like in the sequle where the clothing in the begin will be immune.

With the Alien chapter now here, it's no doubt Predator is coming in soon. For one, the Xenomorphs Mori is very much like when the Xenomorph killed a Predator in AvP. More evidence is one of the Xenomorphs cosmetics shows green lined injuries that is exactly like the Xenomorphs injuries it got from the Predator in AvP.

They can use different colour mud. It could also be a red or grey clay etc. If Alien didn't get climbing I doubt Predator will.

TCM doesn't' look any scarier than DBD. But it looks like it might be fun for awhile, I'll give it a shot on Game Pass. I hope it's solid, I hope it's fun for a few months, I hope it makes just enough money to have justified its existence for a year, and then I hope for it to die off, then I hope, with the licensing fully available, the farmhouse + gas station map gets added to DBD, along with Sally as a survivor, Pam as a legendary, and Jessica Biel's Erin as a legendary, plus the hitchhiker and cook as legendarys (not for leatherface, but for other killers, obv). Same goes for the Evil Dead game. I had fun with it for awhile, but it got old after a few months, and now it's nearly dead. Once it's officially done, lets hope for more Evil Dead content in DBD. Kelly legendary plz, cabin map plz, and Henrietta killer plz. Throw in Evil Ash as a legendary for Knight along with skeletons as its sentries, why not.

Long text idea incoming: While i think the cloak on trees can work, i don't think that can be it's only Grace, i get that ur basing it off on only the first movie but Predator can actually use it's arsenal in a much cooler concept way= Since yautjas thrill on the hunt, the power can also base it off on that, hooks can be replaced with places where the Predator can hang survivors from their feet and if they don't get rescued in time, then a machine the Pred preinstalled Will skin them alive or something like that. After getting a hook/hang he can either "unlock" on such spots his arsenal or be "allowed" to use it varying from the amount of hooks he has gotten. Remember they want to hunt so it's actually using that concept and rewarding people for doin good. The weapons can cycle depending on hooks for example like: 1) First hook he stops using his wristblades and uses his spear which has a bit of extra Range on his attacks and lunges 2) After 3 hooks he can use his smartdisk which can be shot to hurt and track that hit survivor (can work like a permament aura reading stuff) until he or someone else takes it off (addons can make it so it can do deep wound and stuff like that) 3) after 6 hooks he gets his net gun which after shooting it at a surv it doesnt deals dmg directly but it works as both an incapacitate effect maker while on and that if that surv doesnt takes it off after a little while then it can crush and down him (addons can make it to get the broken status) 4) after 9 hooks he gets his plasma caster which can instadown people but only after locking them down for a couple of uninterrupted seconds (addons can reduce such time or give longer length tracking capabilities) And there we have a killer that can be both powerfull, isnt broken or anything cause requires the player to do manual work to get to such a state, and goes well with it's original concept of a hunter with honor that gets rewarded for achieving such hunts.

As always the amount of effort and research you put into these videos is amazing. The edits you did for it is great as well showing how much you you put into the video. I love the idea of the power it would make for some unique gameplay. I personally dont think it would be considered blackface because it isnt you pretending to be black its you trying to survive and use tactics best suited for it, fortnite did something related to this where people can go into mud and hide from thermal dmrs making it harder to use the gun. Also the map idea you had is pretty neat as well its pretty cool that you thought of a day a night cycle I feel most people would love that idea.

Exept for climbing objects and mud, this is exactly that i thought would be the predators power

Bring his arsenal and spread em across the map but you can only equip 1 at a time for balance.basic wrist blade and camo as base kit. Combi stick for extra long range melee and can be thrown to 1 shot a survivor but has a long wound up time and has to pick it up if he misses or hits said survivor. Plasma caster 3 shots to down a survivor or hit multiple targets and auto locks but the projectile is slow enough to dodge or take cover if you carelessy shoot and has a very long cool down. Smart disk can carry 2 and if thrown it will be manually controlled and hit multiple survivors. As soon you thrown both disk you have to restock.

Neither Dutch nor T-800 would look like Arnold anyway, considering how Behavior keeps handling actor likeness rights. Besides, if they WERE good about getting the likeness rights, why couldn't we get Arnold as a T-800 killer AND Arnold as a Dutch survivor? Why not? They'd look different enough, even with both having Arnold's face.

Unfortunately there’s way to much that dbd just isn’t coded for in this power idea, they would have to rewrite an insane amount of code to allow for a killer to climb tiles, not to mention indoor maps would be virtually unplayable if you power relied on that

I doubt they’ll have predator climbing titles, I mean the alien is capable of climbing titles and going into vents, but they didn’t add that for alien in dbd. So I would doubt they’ll do all that for predator.

I hope you see this Schmuck this is my idea for a shining chapter. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this! Personally, I think the smart thing to do for Behavior would be to get The Shining AND DR sleep as either two separate chapter, like resident evil, or a massive singular license with two killers; them being Jack and Rose. I think the smartest way to do this is to not use likeness, like with Laurie and Rippley. They wouldn’t have to use the Book license to do this, and they could duck the massive price tag on Ewan, as well as paying respect to Jack and Shelley. I know Shelley had a rough time because of this movie and I think it would be more respectful if her likeness wasn’t used. But imo the Overlook could have two maps, one being the interior of the hotel the other being the Maze at night in that blizzard. The survivors: Wendy and adult Danny, the Killers: Jack and Rose. Jacks power could focus on tracking, seeing footprints and various overlook ghosts pointing him in direction of survivors. As well as a short range burst of speed that instant down hit survivors or shatters breakables. Jack’s Mori: I want it brutal, like I’m thinking crossing a line here. The survivor POV switches to first person as you roll over and kick Jack in the knee to bring him down. From there the survivor gets up, but Jack shoulder checks them from behind and they hit the ground hard onto their face. The survivor rolls over just in time to scream, raising their hand up, as the axe slams into the players screen bloodying it. They see through red, and deep pulsing heartbeats the axe come down again, and again, until Jack leans over and grabs at them. There is a sick cracking sound and Jack stands up, keeping your sight level with his and grinning at you before your head drops beside your body and the screen fades to the death screen. It’s likely WAY over the top but it would be so sick. Rose’s weapon would be a straight razor, while Jack’s is a fireman’s axe. Rose’s power could have a meditation state where she sits crosslegged in the ground, and astro projects. She can roam the map invisible and undetectable at greater speed, she can interact with generators or dropped pallets, and if she finds a survivor she can “grapple them” pulling them rapidly towards her bodies location, similar to the death slinger real, and they have to try and struggle free. If they reach Rose she says her trademark line of “Well, hi there~” and grabs them by the throat tossing them over her shoulder as she gets up and carry’s them to the hook. A survivor can try and find her body, which is undetectable, and “snap her out of it” by smacking her upside the head cuz why not that’d be funny. This will snap her back into her body and she will be stunned for 6 seconds as she gets back onto her feet. Rose’s Mori: She flicks her wrist, as the survivor is trying to crawl away, and the survivor is tossed onto their back. She then sits on their waist and the survivor tries to swing at her, only for her to catch their hand and slit their wrist open. The survivor screams and she leans in sucking in the steam that leaves their mouth in their agony. Her eyes rolling in euphoria as she then starts to go feral, cutting at their face, their chest, and finally slitting their throat slow as she inhales their final breath of steam. Again it’s brutal, but it’s accurate to Rose imo. She’s described as Sexual yet predatory, and we know the Knot enjoys feeding. I think that would be an awesome mega chapter personally, but maybe I’m biased.

My 2 cents would be 1. That his mori is not only the skull trophy execute, but also after he finishes the mori he puts the survivors skull on his body somewhere. Any survivor that gets into a chase with him after he moris someone can visibly see their skull and acts like a memento mori. 2. Would be in addition to the endgame collapse, once all the gens are opened, The Predator is given an alternate ability to enter his suicide bomb code on his wrist and create a second endgame collapse that will kill everyone on the map in 2 minutes and only The Predator would know if it was activated, not the survivors. The real endgame collapse would resume as usual and activate once gates are opened.

I agree with most things except for using the tops of walls/trees. The game couldn't support that as is and it would require a lot of work to do so. I also think that the plasma caster could gain up to three charges while in cloak instead of relying on items to recharge. You would achieve this by locking onto (or "stalking") targets for a few seconds for each charge. This would give a reason to use the cloak/thermal vision and would still require being visible to actually fire it. It would also give a reason for the survivors to use the mud (or fruit from Prey). Those are just some thoughts. I know that Alien and Predator are not the same license, but it would still be really cool to have both in the game. Especially one after the other.

If for some reason people do think it's black face, the prequel Predator movie Prey showed that there's a plant that u can eat that lowers ur body temp.

This would be really cool, I really love the Predator movies! Maybe if the Alien DLC sell well BHVR could also bring Predator to the fog.

Dude why is no one talking about the climbing? That's the best part out of all this, GREAT idea Schmuckles. The looping and refreshing chase it could bring in, BUT, it should enter undetectable whilst doing so. That would be so much fun. Imagine you're looping in those Cold Wind Farm boxes and it all goes quiet. Oh the anxiety, the mindgames. And then BAM, a shriek from hell leaps into you out of nowhere. Bro the horror tone it'd bring back

Something important that your all forgetting is that predators don’t fight unarmed prey. They even disarmed their plasma castor when against aliens if they were unblooded.

@@douglasbreno4966 A Legendary can have completely different animation. It only needs to have matching abilities, stats, height of eye sight, and hit boxes. The other assets (drones, survivor's drone status effects, and related mechanics) can look and sound different, too, as long as they function the same. I vote for Predator being a Skull Merchant Legendary, and next chapter being a different license. Nothing will convince me that Skull Merchant wasn't originally a Prey license that fell through, so they might as well own that fact and move on.

Chapter 30 predator. Cloaking ability. While cloaked use shoulder cannon to lock onto survivors for 2s and shoot to deal damage for 1 health state. Lock on gives cue for suvivors. While uncloaked predator can warm up the cannon for 2s to shoot in any direction being aimed at. Secondary ability /high jump. Latch onto almost anything in the map for better view to use shoulder cannon. You can also open up your wristblade and jump attack on survivors when latched onto something Mid chapter 30. Arnold schwarzenegger Arnold will be coming as his own self so he can be combined for other future licenses. Nor just predator

Here my 2 cents: Predator on normal mode is a normal m1 On invisible form it can use shoulder laser if he hits it produce deep wound

I want him for the next license because based on the road map we have more licensed chapters coming and you can’t have the alien without the predator and it would be easy to explain in lord of how the yautja got in the realm. They could say the Xenomorph taken into the realm was being hunted by a Predator and the Predator followed the alien into the fog but i don’t know i just like the predator 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don't see Predator needing a map since in the lore they do travel to other worlds so him being in other maps makes sense to the lore. As for the climbing ability,I don't see that being a thing due to an interview sometime back explaining why they can't add flight to killers if they brought a Vampire. The maps are designed in such a way that if they were to allow someone to hover them the map would show gaps and holes in the coding leading to glitch areas between map walls as well as hitting a non-existent ceiling that would have to be patched and reworked. Doing that for every single map would require months if not years of coding that the devs just aren't willing to commit too and rightfully so. It's why I figured the Xenomorph wouldn't climb walls either which he can't do. Otherwise I agree that this could be a good killer and power set, minus the over view of the map unless the map already has a high rise such as Midwhich, or Macmillan estate which has multiple floors.

It makes sense and falls in line with the road map that Predator doesnt need a map. Theyre always hunting in other biomes anyway

Besides the fact that there's already a asymmetric multiplayer Predator game, it wouldn't make any sense for a Yautja to hunt a bunch of unarmed, defenseless weaklings. Their whole thing is hunting the most powerful beings while still giving them a fighting chance.

Predator could have 3 different stages, like Meyers. Tier 1 he's Wraith: it's cloaked and has no terror radius. Tier 2: no cloaking but gains thermal vision. Tier 3: Thermal vision exposes survivors. With each tier it charges up the Plasma Caster that has an Area of Effect attack that can hit multiple survivors. It becomes a ranged killer like Huntress.

Something else that could benefit the killer would involve survivors not exerting too much energy, otherwise run the risk of increasing blood flow and therefore increasing vulnerability to the thermal vision. A mechanic to nudge more towards not running too much or vaulting. Making the game slow down a bit more. Another would be the use of the Predators cannon could be to blind survivors. Switching up the game and making players play differently is what makes a game fun. Imagine survivors getting blinded for a change. That’d be hilarious. Predator could honestly be a mix of a melee killer and ranged.

Im very excited because i could see a alot of possibilities for solo killer. The Predator power ideas I suggest that the new killer the predator should be a multi tool killer. With different weapons to switch too that grants different abilities for each. Such as the Shoulder beam, Spear, Netgun. Wristblades as default. -TRIGGER PASSIVE ABILITY a cloak that takes effect after hitting a number of 4 survivors only with wrist blades to turn invisible and lose your terror radius, survivors will hear the predators iconic laugh when you turn invisible. /-SHOULDER BLASTER, depending the charge, your energy beam is too inflict damage too survivors at a distance.short charge 1 sec. hit, the survivor is put into the injured state with a 20 second endurance and another hit will increase endurance. Medium charge hit 10 sec, the survivor is put into the injured state. Long charge 30 sec hit puts the survivor into the dying state. /-SPEAR, inflict damage too survivors while in the chase. Charge the spear too charge at the survivors infront of your view. In dash attack you can also destroy pallets/doors infront of you. /-NETGUN, 10 snares too capture and tie your pray while in the chase. The survivors hit by the net have a 25 second timer till the trap restricts into their body. Being snared by the trap will lose the ability too vault windows/pallets, cannot throw down pallets and cannot repair/heal while snared, cannot open the exit gates. Survivors snared, the trap will restrict until damage into the injured state.the survivors cannot break from the snare. If the predator hits you while snared you break free from the net. But take damage into the second state. Other survivors can help you break free from the snare with a action. Because predator should have his own chapter and survivor and map because this is a iconic license and other than that the predator in the lore only hunts after humans that have weapons to combat with him and other other part of predators lore is also another group of predators called the bad blood

I would add to his power traps So predator have 4 traps and they can recharge 2 time so 3 uses If survivor step on it theyre trapped and need to untrap themselves If dont predator grab them to hook If they do the trap is broken and predator have it again and place it again The third time survivor step on it they cant untrap themselves and predator skinned them and they just hang around

Yeah, mythbusters did the mud thing and they found your body heated the mud p quickly and became ineffective for thermal vision

I think skull merchant was preditor but they couldn't get the license so they redesigned it

survivors can use mud on their skin for a limited time until they have to use more. That would be an awesome perk. 😊

There is also the Possibility that Predator would get the Pyramid as Map from Alien vs Predator, But what i think will DEFENTLY TO 100% WILL HAPPEN if Predator comes to Dead by daylight then we will defently get a Skin Pack for the Predators in Form of Scar, Celtic, Chopper and Wolf and for the Xenomorph we could get the Avp Drones, the Grid Xenomorph and the iconic Predalien and this will defently happen when Predator is in the Game because if Not then that would be a Huge missed opertunity because those Characters are loved by Fans and to See them in Dead by daylight as skins for Predator and Alien would be a very good Way to get the Fanbase bigger

That’s definitely not happening chief. Alien already has Grid, Predator will probably get Scar to match the AvP set but that’s it, the rest of the Predators skins will be based on Predator films. Probably the main berserker Predator from Predators with his jawbone mask and maybe the primitive Predator from Prey. I’d hope that maybe down the road we’d get AvP:R skins, Wolf for Predator and Predalien for Xeno but that’s admittedly unlikely.

If they add predictor they should add an edp skin

The one issue I'd have with the Predator being in the next chapter wouldn't have a map OR a survivor, both of which would be kinda awesome.

I would argue the Predator would not make a good killer due to its lore. The race hardcore won't hunt anything that isn't armed. I could see the Predator hunting down the other killers, but Predators are hardcore against killing anyone who isn't even a threat.

honestly, my biggest issue with your proposed skill set is that it would become too complex for the player to both use and hide from, I mean you have essentially given him invisibility, the plasma caster, thermal vision, and potentially other traps and equipment to place around the map, while survivors not only have to use a new means of avoiding detection, but also the thermal vision would make the standard forms of detection, like the lockers useless, it just feels like that all would be broken and one-sided.

It's a great concept, but I'm personally not a fan of climbing on stuff. I know it's lore accurate but some outdoor maps would make this overpowered and all indoor maps would render that ability useless

Here is my proposal for the power, broken down into two: Cloaked Mode: Hold RM to enter/exit Cloaked Mode. While in Cloaked Mode, press M1 to perform a Basic Attack. Performing a Basic Attack while in Cloaked Mode causes the Predator to exit Cloaked Mode. Predator suffers a reduced cooldown/recovery time from SUCCESSFULL (it actually hits) Basic Attacks coming out of Cloaked Mode. Survivors cannot be put into the dying state by a Basic Attacks coming out of Cloaked Mode. Thermal Vision: Press ALT to toggle Thermal Vision on/off. While in Thermal Vision, see the enhanced thermal auras of survivors, scratch marks, blood trails, and crows, in line of sight at any range. Survivors can interact with Mud Piles to cover themselves and become invisible to Thermal Vision, however at the cost of slowing down their individual repair, blessing, and cleansing speeds by 12% (slippery hands lol). Over the course of 30 seconds, mud gradually falls off of survivors, gradually undoing survivors' debuffs, but also leaving a trail of mud that can be followed. Thermal Vision can be used both in and out of Cloaked Mode, however using Thermal Vision while in Cloaked Mode causes the eyes on the helmet face to glow dimly yellow, which can be visible to Survivors.

Predator after alien being confirmed is a matter of when not if, I'm 100% sure there is going be a Predator chapter, Predator and alien are like salt and pepper. Most likely not chapter 30 though I feel like if alien got a map and a survivor then Predator likely will too, I predict it will be chapter 32 or 33.

And the bad blood just hunts down people that dont have a weapon regardless and other with weapons
