@@Foulmouth I agree with you, the thing is. Predator is a more complicated character than any DBD killers. Freddy, Pinhead they may have supernatural powers but they can't die and their power can be simplified. But Predator?! He's a hunter, not a killer. He wouldn't chase his pray. He has an entire arsenal of weepons to choose from, from spears, bows, plasma canons and his gaudlet. I'm sorry but let's not forget about the jumps. How can that be simplified without a major nerf?!

I want Xenomorph more than Predator, but I feel like if we get one we will get the other! Awesome video yet again!

We won't get it. Disney doesn't like bad publicity and after the NFT stuff and how the community reacted I don't see it happening

Oh boy.. Not only Disney is close with Fortnite, but they allowed Sora from Kingdom Hearts in Smash Ultimate. But getting the chance to see Alien or Predator in DBD can be Complicated.

I think Disney has been more open if we’re looking at their slated past. When Sony took back Spider-Man from the MCU, it was Disney that went to go negotiate with them for a new contract, not Sony. Disney gave Nintendo Sora, fortnite got plenty of new Disney related IP’s, and there’s bound to be more obscure relations they’ve done

I mean, don't get me wrong. I'm okay with him getting in. But I'm getting a little upset that it's almost as if FNAF isn't the only one with these problems but is the only one that has to fix them.

I imagine Predator in this game working a lot like Wraith except really different in a way to almost be like an alternative to Wraith, sort of like how with long ranged killers you have Huntress, Deathslinger, and Trickster.

You could have the Combistick for range, a mid range controlled attack via Smart Disk, a Plasma Caster shot and ofc the cloak for stealth and the Wrist blades and a basic attack.

I can't imagine BHVR trying to negotiate with the mouse. That'll be a tough one for them to get, if not nigh impossible. They have a pattern of trying to find easier ways to get classic licences added, like getting ghost face's mask instead of the scream license, or apparently agreeing to NFTs in exchange for Pinhead. I just wanted to say how impressed I am with your research, especially into the grittier legal details. As someone who's a little familiar with the law, you need to do a LOT of digging. You can't just ctrl+f. Keep up the good work!

I dunno how this would play out in game but I think a horrifying addition to the game would be the babadook

If Predator ever got into DBD it would be cool if after hitting a survivor he imitated their scream.

Btw for anyone saying that the Predator can’t be in DBD because they follow the code of not attacking Unarmed humans but y’all forget about Bad Blood Predators like Berserker, Falconeer and Tracker from Predators they are known to kill everyone especially other Yautja (Predators)

I think things would be a lot easier if Epic owned DBD

Honestly At this point in the game We got almost everything we want: Halloween, Resident Evil, Silent Hill etc. Like, do we still need more licenses? I would be ok with 1-2 killers less per year, but make cool original killers like Oni or Trickster Maybe even expand on Ghost Face lore in a tome

I personally didn't really want anything they added, To be honest. But they are nice. Not saying they should get it to be but just saying 'we' with no clarification to whom represent everyone I feel and not everyone feels the same All I've wanted is Alien and Ripley... which we didn't get though I can understand why they aren't in the game

Predator has like the most potential outta all killers ngl , he has the traps that put you upside down he has those air buzz saws and that blaster thing on top of invisibility

If we ever get Alien or Predator they gotta come together or have a voting for who would come first

Predator would be awesome His power would probably be the invisibility obviously, but maybe a heat tracking with a certain range, the survivors can then find like mud matches to conceal them

Fortnite is the New "Hot flame" that is to say, it'll burn incredibly bright, but'll be gone pretty fast, so of course big companies would want to get their cash from a Hot flame collab, it'd make them a fortune.

Predator was also in one of the call of duty ghosts dlc's along with a jungle map btw

Predator was in one of the Ghost Recon games I can remember that mission well.

Predator could have 2 abilities like doctor. The first one is invisibility but when he turns invisible/visible it is not really loud and the second is the traps that hang the survivors upside down and it would take 10-15 seconds to get out of and a good perk for him is that if he hits the survivor, the survivor will be revealed for 10 seconds

This can be avoided so easily, the entity changes, corrupts and twist the minds of killers every time, Nemesis is a good example, he had many weapons, super strenght, could jump, etc, Nemesis from RE would destroy all the walls on his way and would kill only the S.T.A.R.S. but the entity corrupted him, the entity could do the same with a predator, that way we could have Predator on DBD and at the same time respecting the lore of both APV and DBD

he forgot about the Ghost Recon: Wildlands DLC that had you hunt and fight the Predator

considering copyright law is super messed up right now because Disney refused to let Mickey Mouse become public domain, yeah I'd say this lawsuit is not only going to go forward, but there's no way Disney won't make every effort to keep a hold of the predator licensing.

It's Disney. Predator and Xenomorphs both have no shot unless they both revert back to the original screenwriters, and even then, it's still a tricky situation, but then at least there's no Disney involved

Predator is my favorite Sci-Fi monster of all time and I really do not want him brought into DBD. I just don't think it meshes well at all, especially when you add in why they hunt and what classifies as honorable prey to them. Predators aren't suppose to kill unarmed people, and flashlights and pallets I would not consider to be anywhere near the rank of 'weapons.' If anything, a Predator would try hunting the other killers in the Entity's Realm. I just don't see it working at all without it being a complete betrayal of the character. Alien is better suited for a DBD crossover in my opinion.

@@All-father4300 It is never stated once, anywhere, that the Entity has manipulated Nemesis. Nemesis' mission is to kill all S.T.A.R.S. members and anyone who gets in it's way. The only reason he doesn't have his weapons is because he entered the fog without his weapons, and obviously, for gameplay reasons. However, even without his weapons, his depiction in the game is still pretty faithful to his original depiction. Predator would not be able to work inside of DbD because it would be such a betrayal of the character's established background and imagery. He just doesn't work for DbD.

@@All-father4300 Go re-read his bio entry in-game. It doesn't say anything on him being manipulated. Nemesis has killed, and would kill, anyone who gets in his way of killing S.T.A.R.S. Also, my point still stands, if you have to go through hoops to fit a killer in in, then it isn't faithful to the character's representation from the films in which they were introduced. The Bad Blood is it's own character, not the Jungle Hunter in which they'd go for as it's the Pop Icon Predator.

I don't think predator fits into dbd but that doesn't matter anymore with plush elephant clown, bunny legion, the trickster, and nemesis.

Predator is cool but he doesn't fit the whole DBD style. The Yautja hunt for sport so i can see why the entitiy would try to take one to it's realm but most killers in the realm or mostly evil. the Yautja are not evil. they show mercy to those who are no threat, survivors pose no threat to the Yautja. So i doubt it'd hunt them without the entities influence. they take no pleasure in killing, it's merely sports to the Yautja.
