Yes, they really look at the way they dress. My friend was stopped for wearing a cool ripped Carhartt, but the police thought he had been in an accident. 😂😂😂😂

I learned this in Korea. When you’re in a monoculture country you will be stopped/checked if you don’t fit in. I’ve seen a lot of people who fly in ‘lazy’ clothes and get stopped at immigration. ProTip: clean up (shave, fresh clothes, etc) on the first bathroom after landing before going through immigration. It’ll save you from a ‘random’ inspection. I got stopped at immigration before so they can search for vapes/cigs even though I don’t smoke, only cause I looked the part.

Exactly! I guess it’s the same in every country to come extent and you can get away with it a bit more in western countries but definitely more stopped on monoculture for sure!

So your first video I watched I thought I was listing to an Anglo, then saw this video and was funny to me. My wife is Japanese and we constantly talk about accents and native English ability. 😂 cheers.

Turn the music down just a bit. Nice to have it as a background but it's really distracting at this volume and also feels like it's making you talk louder. I like the background moving etc could do green screen and play around with it. Thanks for the stories

Yes definitely! But sometimes a double edged sword because they tend to profile too hard sometimes (ie if you stand out in a unique way because of your style etc)

@@yoodoosworld I prepared a few solutions as a presentation: 1. Get famous. People go nuts and everyone will want to dress like you. You won't be hassled. 2. Start negotiating with an official body to have your attire declared a national treasure. 3. Stay at areas where crazy clothing is admired. 4. Attach large "Not Abunai. A wacky stairu" stickers on each piece of offending clothing so people understand and relax, lessing the disturbance effect. This probably will start a trend and you might get famous. It is necessary to design a good autograph.

Luckily i never got stopped by the Japanese police since i wear a military vest with a dragon tiger yankie jacket with hoode and a stick that i walk a lot for long walks with backpack. I'm from Iraq but can speak Japanese very well so i don't get problems with the police.

I got stopped for being a different kind of ripped. I'm Asian and I was heading to my hotel gym and they sent a cop right after me. I'm just wearing standard gym clothes (no tank, just tee) but I guess they were suspicious of me being way too ripped and my clothes being more form fitting relative to the typical dude you see on a Japanese street lol
