It is a fish grill, not really a gas oven in the sense that it gives direct flame. You could use it not only for fish but also for meat, vegetables or bead and you could find recipes in internet using that fish grill and you could buy cooking metal containers to put into that grill, cheap ones from NITORI or DAISO, fancy ones from internet or maybe decent department store’s kitchen floor. I recommend to get one since cleaning would be much easier than putting your food directly into the grill, especially when renting the property. Please be careful though for fire accidents, or foods’ overflowing (cleaning the grill would very hard), never take your eyes completely off from the grill, it is not as stable as gas oven😊 Enjoy Japan!

@@bernoGarcia well, they do it here because I guess long time ago 13 was an unlucky number and that just stuck. There are some other differences like in Japan the apartment buildings are more spacious then the ones in the US. That is because In the US it is required by law to have no less then two staircases or elevators and they got to be at both ends of the building but in Japan they are not required by law to have two or more staircases/elevators. I wish I could go to vacation in japan even if it is only one time in my whole life. Japan once had a huge arcade building that was designed to look like China's famous Kowloon Walled City that according to history looked like it really was a city in a big cube. Japan made replica of it and it looked pretty real but had arcade games and claw machines and other such fun things to do in there. It was located between Tokyo and Yokohama. It was called Amusement game Park Kawasaki Warehouse. If you ever seen the movie Dredd that kind of reminds me of it. But if I am ever do go to japan I can always see many other fun things. Like the Cup Noodles Museum. and I am a big fan of manga and anime and a big fan of Ninjas and samurai. Oh see if you can get one of those combination washer dryers they wash then dry your clothes. This way you don't always have to hang your clothes up.

I speak English and French. If you ever want to practice. I am trying to take up my Japanese studies. Hopefully one day I can spend a few months in Japan like you, as a student.

Also I would love to see videos of your Japanese learning journey from now on, now that you have your apartment. Also why Japanese? When did you start learning etc?
400 is ziemlich cool!

Need a fridge.....

$400 for the rent... I'd be interested to hear how much you're expecting to pay for bills on top of that. (Utilities, city taxes etc) 👍

Interesting. I'm subscribing to follow your adventures. You could wash your clothes in the bathtub and hang them to dry on the balcony.

Hey Nancy, thanks for your comment and the support. Appreciate it. I actually bought a laundry machine already. Check out my latest video where I show the stuff that I have bought for my apartment so far. Thanks for tuning in
Where's your refrigerator? You have to buy a refrigerator AND a washer? NOT COOL! I only pay $400 a month in Tbilisi Georgia, and I have ALL appliances and a brand new washer!
