    I think petunia didn't want to know anything about wizards and witches or magic, cause of the jealousy of her sister

    I had this notion that Petunia wasn't against magic (as she wanted to be a part of it) but had to internalise her feelings due to Vernon's strong beliefs. She may have been head over heels if Dudley was a wizard.
