No, his teachings are not biblical. Study your Bible. It has the truth. Branham was not a teacher or a theologian but rather a heretic spreading deception to well meaning people wo do not know the word of God. He never was anointed to teach and, in fact, was warned by brothers to stop. He didn't quit speading heresy so his life ended.

That’s the extent of my knowledge, I hope it helps.

But I read: Focus on God: Branham's recorded prayers and sermons primarily emphasize praying to God in the name of Jesus Christ. At about 3:00 you talk about Jones’ ordination into Branham’s sect but display an ordination certificate for the Independent Assemblies of God, a completely different body. Do your site provide documentation for Jones’ ordination into Branham’s sect? I have searched and not found it, but may have missed it.

There is every indication that Roy E. Davis was fully aware of William Branham's fictional life story tales by the time he sent the letter to Gordon Lindsay. Not only was Branham the most sought-after revivalist in the revival circuits that Davis himself toured, Branham was the leader of the revival. As leader, his publications detailing the fiction and newspaper accounts of the fiction through interviews were widespread. There is no question as to whether or not Davis knew the fictional tales, and having lived part of them, knew Branham had lied on a massive scale. The question, as you ask, is whether Davis would have purposefully exposed Branham as a fraud in order to control him. Knowing the fiction, Davis' letter was definitely meant to inform Lindsay that Branham was lying. Strategically, it would not make sense for Davis to expose Branham while working together. In the Pentecostal Baptist Church of God sect just a few years prior, Branham was a "bishop" and Davis was the "pope". There is clear evidence that Branham attempted to distance himself from Davis after Davis went to prison in the early 1940s, however. This is especially obvious in the 1945, 1946, and 1947 changes in Branham's stage persona that drew further separation between himself and Davis/KKK. The best answer to this question comes from Branham himself, which Charles and I will be properly discussing in upcoming episodes of the podcast. After this letter, Branham resumed touring under the auspices of the Pentecostal Baptist Church of God sect that Davis started.

I wish more Christians understood what is truly being said when those 'big name' evangelists reportedly espoused that they never believed the Bible (AKA: Black Book/Gravy Train). I refuse to give any credence to a one of those sheep-scatters ; I wash my hands of them. Matthew 24 speaks of these evil men!

To their credit though, most of them reacted very strongly against Branham when he said this. Jones, who apparently found aberrant theology less disturbing than aberrant politics, reconciled with him after the event, but others did not.

John, do you think WMB later preaching against “denominations” was a result of his being ostracised by nearly every church especially when he got kicked out of his own publication - voice of healing? If you notice, he hardly preached against denominations in the early sermons?

Absolutely. There is strong evidence of this in the transcripts of his sermons. While building a cult of personality, it was an "everyone is welcome" approach. Even his Voice of Healing magazine advertised the revivals as "Inter-Evangelical" and offered disclaimers that competing doctrines were welcome. After this implosion, Branham turned extremely bitter. His cult of personality today is not welcoming of other Christians, and chastizes any who critically examine his doctrine or bogus claims as "infidels". They have fully abandoned the instructions of the Christian BIble to "test all things" in favor of isolation and exclusion of Christianity as a whole. This, by any standard examined, is the definition of a destructive, dangerous, extremist cult. In other words, the "Message" today is to Christianity what Al-Qaeda is to Islam. With a fully documented, strong militant background as part of their origin history.

In fact, it is in the Mosaic Law itself: Deuteronomy 18:20-22 ESV: But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’ And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?’- when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.

He left this world in 2004. He believe in the whole word of God. The message of WMB is not a cult. They say a lot bad things about the whole family of William M Branham. Ewald Frank Germany died now also on 8 June 2024. So there are not so much old ones anymore that have heard him personally. Stay with the word.

Wow! This is an amazing amount of information and so illuminating about all the strategic moves all these different men were making back in the 50s and early 60s. When I was in the cult I would have never believed that WMB was there in the fray, fighting for his place among all that. I thought he was so above church politics and what other people said and did. I was so wrong, so deceived. I'm so glad I'm not part of that anymore and so glad that everyone else who have gotten out have. I feel really bad for people that are still in the cult. I need to pray for them more than I do.

Assemblies of God VEHEMENTLY denied this from what we are told. If Branham -- their foundation -- was exposed as a fraud, white supremacist, and closely tied to Jones, their entire ministries would implode ... Ern Baxter was my pastor. I never heard Ern speak about Branham, but other people in the church told me that he was a powerful man of God. I never heard anything negative about him. They thought it was wonderful that Ern travelled with Branham. Nobody told me that he broke up with him over doctrinal differences. I really appreciate that, when I was a baby Christian, I heard Ern Baxter say to get to know the Bible well and examine everybody's teaching through the Word of God, no matter who they are, including himself. I have taken that very seriously, written the Bible out twice, and examine everything in life through the filter of the Bible. It gives me stability and peace. Ironic that Ern taught the discipleship error, but I made a break from it when I was 19. The elders in whose home I boarded were bossy and I had enough of it after living with them for several months. I still went to that church for another two years, but lived my life quite happily without paying much mind to that doctrine because I knew there was something wrong about it. Some years later, I read something Branham preached where he belittled women and lost interest in hearing any of his other teachings. I am glad that I didn't bother with him, and I am glad to find out from this channel that I didn't miss out on anything worthwhile.

God sent another original or genuine holy ghost rain or outpouring of the holy ghost.... You don't study the the inaccuracy of history that has been muddled up by corrupt minded guys like john... You have to study an original or genuine to recognize a counterfeit..... History isn't original or genuine...History is inaccurate and all twisted up or turned into a lie so you can't recognize the truth by studying History.... @@dieselcowboy777 I listened to some of the Branham's tapes that John played, I read some of Branham's stuff. He was nutty. I am not throwing out the baby with the bathwater, though. I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in 1972, have the gift of speaking in tongues, which is a wonderful blessing, I have heard good teaching from some of the preachers mentioned who were named in these videos, I went to Ern Baxter's church and treasure the songs I learned there and people I connected with. I am glad to know about Branham's crazy stuff because it now makes me understand where some of my friends got their weird ideas. I understand that the men making these videos grew up under Branham's teaching. They had a lot more exposure than me, a lot of hurt, and obviously feel some resentment still. It's a matter of separating wheat from the chaff. Just because they have issues, it doesn't mean that they don't have anything valid to say. Aside from his false doctrines, there is no way to justify Branham's association with the KKK, Nazis, Colonia Dignidad, and putting a sadistic pedophile, one of his tape guys, in charge of that trailer park in Arizona.

Because you have to find the strait gate and narrow way to be truly born again.... Why he spent so much time and effort to proof William Branham wrong...yet Islam,Buddhism, Catholics he does not seem to touch...yet they light years ahead in apostasy.. sounds like this man has had a horrible experience and is severely traumatized....shame...is there nothing anybody can to help this poor soul...all I hear is researched hate..or maybe he don't have a hobby of some sort to keep him busy..he'll eventually Crack under such a heavy load of bitterness...shame man, I hope he finds help soon before it's too late
