The HOA comment is completely true. I have lived in several states, and the HOA I had in the Phoenix area was by far the worst and most draconian one.

Don’t regret moving here 10 years ago but it’s boring……….can’t wait to move to Vegas end of year

Vegas is better because of the Strip?? Casino's, prostitutes, drinking, drugs? Don't know about that 😂 LoL... Phoenix is boring tho, and during the summer it's dangerously HOT. I'll be moving back to Cali.

The intention in Arizona some 20 years ago. The idea was each community was supposed to be where you worked. Didn’t work out. Arizona is too spread out and my gripe is zero transportation. Why hasn’t Phoenix put in a rail system. A big circle. I just drove the freeway 101 and down 67th Ave going northbound. Good grief the road is still torn up. Where are all our tax money going. Not the homeless either.

Those house prices are ridiculous. When shtf I wouldn't want to be crammed into those hideous and high $$$ trac homes.

I am from Arizona. I live in a small town and you couldn't pay me big bucks to live in Phoenix or Tucson.

Came from Illinois. No regrets. While I lived in Illinois, I did run my heat all winter long, DUH. I got solar panels and even through I run my AC during the summer months only, I still pay less then $100 on peak months. Hate HOA's and hopefully people will wake up and limit their power that I am sure they stole through legislation.

HOAs are like your own private USSR. I no longer live in AZ, I moved to the Midwest (zero regrets, I love living in the country)...but if I were to give advice to anyone moving to AZ - move to an older neighborhood with no HOA. They have a lot more character.
