Actually the UN drew a map, and divided. Jews said OK Arabs said NOPE KILL THE JEWS and lost A different line was drawn. Until 1967 no palestinian movement was present in the west bank nor Gaza, as they were under the direct control of Jordan and Egypt After 1967 suddenly such a movement was encouraged by the arab league... Weird. Why did the arab league not champion a palestinian homeland before 1967. And why did Egypt not want Gaza back when they also got the Sinai back? Think a bit on these facts and you will notice that the standard palestinian narrative is deceptive at best, fictional at worst.

Israel relies on Hamas to essentially be their justification for everything they’re doing in Gaza. I don’t particularly like or agree with Johnny Harris, but he has a good video on the topic. This is without even mentioning that 1. Palestinians exist outside of Gaza, in the West Bank, where Hamas has absolutely no power, and 2. Hamas has complete control over what goes in and out of Gaza, as well as direct surveillance over Gaza, any Hamas opponents are dealt with.

In 2006 70 percent voted for Hamas who were eligible to vote . There are also a large number of younger adults who make up the current Population of Gaza who were too young to vote back in 2006 . So in reality about 75 percent of the current population in Gaza didn't vote for Hamas in 2006. How do you vote out a party that doesn't hold elections ? The people who voted for Hamas didn't really like or support Hamas . They voted for them out of desperation and saw them as the lesser of Two evils .

They attacked one of the most politically and militarily powerful countries on earth, one that enjoys blank check military support from the Western nations that established it. Even in this situation it was a tight race, which they barely edged. Ever since then, Hamas operated a brutal one party regime and there haven’t been any elections since. Netenyahu and other Israeli far right extremists covertly supported Hamas as a way to undermine the Palestinian authority (which was exposed in multiple scandals). All of this is to say you have no idea what the hell you’re talking about. This all beside the point that while all this is going on, Palestinians livelihoods are under constant threat from a brutal apartheid regime that has consistently displaced and dispossessed Palestinians and killed tens of thousands over many years (including in the West Bank where Hamas does not exist).

I find this 'antisemitism' tag extremely racist. Or is it tribal? Both Palestinians and Jews are semites. But the tag is used only where Jews are targeted. Does this mean Jews are more human, therefore more semitic, than Palestinians? Hence the (semitic) Palestinians become 'antisemitic' when they resist oppression by (semitic) Jews who can of course oppress lesser humans.

It's strange. I've heard the "We're not defending Hamas, but..." kind of statements a lot lately. It's usually followed by a defense of Hamas. Even stranger when polling data shows a huge majority of the West Bank believes that what Hamas did on October 7 was a good thing. Gaza doesn't even hit 60% in support of it - this was from late last year if I recall. I don't know where I stand on the conflict. To be fair, I don't think most who talk about it have a position either - they pretend to because it's in the news. All I'm saying is that if you claim to support Palestinian rights, then don't support a group that uses Palestinians as human shields. Edit: I mean "You" in the general sense, not the OP.

He just forgot to mention a couple of things. First is a curious thing, the land that was NOT divided into pieces, not controlled by Israel military, not containing a single israeli civilian, was the one who launched the attacked, the ones who didn't suffer the subtle violence he mentioned are the most radical ones, controlled by terrorists who worked without restrictions, so maybe this irrestrict freedom isn't going to be productive right now. Second thing is that most, if not all, of these protests have some weird funding going on, namely Open Society wich also funds every left-wing organization nowadays as well as comunist parties all over the world, but if there was no funding it is likely people would simply not protest at all, they aren't that commited anyways. Third, I find super weird how the pro-palestine protests begun right after oct 7, before any sign of Israel's response, almost as if they were celebrating the massacre, and at no point these protestors recognized the suffering of israelis (and foreigners) victms (some even believe oct 7 is farse), wich leads me to the conclusion that these people are either usefull idiots who don't know what they are protesting for or they are incapable empathy pretending to care about palestinian suffering. Lastly, where were these protestors when muslims were being killed in Syria, Pakistan, China and many other coutries? No jews, no news is the real deal.

Seriously, I’ve been so scared to voice any opinion on the matter because I did not want to support murder, and I may even sound dumb for this, but I honestly thought all these people were essentially supporting all these lives are lost. Fuck Hamas, but the Palestinians deserve the basic human right and the fact they are being denied the most basic of human rights is incredibly unforgivable.

They can get those basic human rights in other countries. The reason why they're not getting it is because they insist claiming ownership for a land they lost in war multiple generations ago. They essentially give up basic human rights for the sake of ego.

But I do .. I support ANY form resistance to the occupation ❤ Who r we to judge? Have we been through even a tenth of what they have been through while the Whole world is watching silently for decades Doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO THE OPPRESSED? What is the alternative. Following laws that isr al already IGNORING 😂😂😂 DO WHATEVER U SEE RIGHT PEOPLE of Palestine cuz nobody is gonna help but yourselves...we r clearly seeing it now I an see the goal was military and they are justified to take hostages and surly want them alive to exchange not to mention the proof that isr al harmed their own. I'm sure whatever innocent life taken by the resistance was unintentional I would've done the same considering the unfair situation of the ignored Palestinians.

What hamas did was wrong but Israel has been doing the same thing for 70 years, can't they just live in peace, if there wasn't discrimanition and violence against palestinians hamas wouldn't have acted hostile against israel

Learn about history, so you can think clearly. Im sure you don't know what happening in Palestine since 1948 and maybe earlier. If you know already what happened and still think the same i have nothing to say. I can only pray to God that you will find a bright path. And this is the promise given by God that From rive to sea, Palestine will be free.

@@jamieoshea1681 This situation occurred because arabs don't want a jewish state in the middle east plain and simple. There is 0 justification for this. Israel left gaza as of 2006. Since then, Hamas has been firing rockets from schools, hospitals, and mosques using palestinians as human shields. Israel actually has to drop leaflets in areas the plan on bombing urging palestinian civilians to flee the area. Hamas stops them from doing that. That is the truth. Hamas' goal is to expel all jews from the planet. It's a goal they are very open about.

extreme leadership comes from extreme resentment of oppressors. Many historical examples, the most famous being hitler and post-WW1 Germany. You can condemn Hamas but they are the symptom of Palestine's poverty which is enforced by Israel.

This did not start on October 7th and Hamas was created in 1987 and isreal has been persecuting Palestinians even before. And I’m Palestinian and I don’t support Hamas I support my freedom for my country and the right for it to have its land back. There is no such thing as isreal and my people deserve to live. And don’t call me anti Semitic because Arabs and Palestinians are just as Semitic as any Jew I don’t see why we people are a bit different are excluded. And we are even more Semitic than Jews too. Jews have more European blood.
