To be fair: Yes, the Swiss are reserved and not easy to know fast. But I'll tell you, once a Swiss makes a friendship with anyone (Swiss or not Swiss), it is a deep and rewarding one. Thanks for this cool video!

Absolute rubbish! I am an Indian married to a Swiss and have a son . Now fighting a legal battle for rights over my son because she purposely lied to police just to win the case! Fcking Shitzerland. A roadside chai wala in India makes more money than your COOP employees . The arrogance needs to tone down a bit

You are one of the very few YT vloggers that understand that the cost of living in Switzerland is actually quite reasonable compared to other countries, when you factor in the income. I'm glad you pointed that out in the video. But for some odd reason most expat YT vloggers in Switzerland seem unable to understand such basic economic concepts and simply regurgitate the superficial notion that Switzerland is "expensive", which is always a bit surprising to me. Reasonable cost Switzerland is also borne out by actual data, as the median savings and net assets value of the Swiss population (according to OECD statistics) are among the highest in the world, which is a direct result of spending (relatively) far less than your earnings when compared to other countries. Nice video, too. 👍 👍

Still it's very expensive for foreigners not working there
@christheswiss390
2 жыл бұрын
@@sadanandpadala1042 This is obviously true. But a successful country should be reasonable to live in for its CITIZENS, not for some foreigners. In addition, the high costs of participating in a successful society are also driven by extremely high demand, as millions of well educated people from all over the globe wish and try to become members of such a successful society - and have done so since decades. Combined with the small size of this leading nation in almost every metric the OECD measures results in prices rising higher while the currency also appreciates. Perhaps you are aware that the Swiss Franc is the only currency in the world that has appreciated over 500% against the USD since 1970?! Because it is obviously far more competitive and therefore it's wares sought after and its currency in high demand. THAT'S why Switzerland is expensive for almost everyone coming from a less successful society. And yet, every foreigner complains about the cost of Switzerland, instead of demanding his country copy the Swiss political system, also give him direct democracy and throw their corrupt politicians in jail! A Swiss just shakes his head in disbelief...
@christheswiss390

consider this: most people rating the wealthiest nation from the outside are comparatively poorer. Thus, these poor people will always consider a wealthy country expensive. Once you've really immersed yourself into a highly competitive and highly prosperous society, that apparent cost level becomes normal, because your income also becomes normal. If you consider yourself to be above average successful, smart and hard-working, you'll become above average wealthy in any given society. In the case of a country like Switzerland, the gains can become quite unbelievable to the rest of the nations. If someone just THINKS he/she is above average but can't make it in a prosperous society, he/she was lying to themselves. So you must make the call. Either way you decide, says everything about you and nothing about the country you chose. 😇
