The best way to ensure total control of masses, but exchanging fuels with less dense energies, and keep hold of carbon base for plastic to emergency vehicles services to do long haul travel. The army can never fully rely on electric power. The need for high density energy will alway stay as a heated topic, and if fusion becomes the next wave for the masses and stays the oil industry will end.
