    Well Nasus is my main and you challenged me to rework him, so here's the result of 2 hours brainstorming. Passive: Nasus gains stacks when killing enemies (essentially his q but he doesn't need to use an ability) Every 6 seconds, Nasus's next basic attack does bonus physical damage equal to his stacks and heals him for 50% of the damage dealt Q: Nasus cleaves enemies in an area in front of him, deals physical damage and ignores 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% of enemy armor W: Nasus summons locusts which attack in a teardrop shape, with a wider hitbox near him and a narrower hitbox at a distance. Locusts deal damage to all enemies hit and stop at the first champion hit. That champion is slowed by 30-80%, increasing over the duration. E: Nasus becomes sand, gaining untargetability and slowly dashing to a location. The dash has reasonably long range, a medium cooldown, and a very high mana cost. R: Nasus gains bonus health and size, in a large area around him a sandstorm is summoned. Enemies caught in the sand storm are slowed by 10% and nearsighted. Nasus also reduces the cooldown on his passive attack to 2 seconds. Obviously some of the numbers can be tweaked, and I'm missing exact cooldowns, but this is a solid outline of his kit. The idea with this rework is to turn Nasus into a split pusher. A large part of his current appeal is farming and becoming powerful while ignoring his team, so Nasus mains like myself would probably enjoy a split push based playstyle more. In order to split push, Nasus needs an escape, thus the new E. His old E was good and all, but it was bland and didn't fit his kit super well. The untargetability on his new E also opens up a bit of outplay opportunities. The high mana cost but medium cooldown allows him to use this ability very effectively, but only if the Nasus player is good at managing mana. The new W becomes a powerful engage, disengage, and sticking tool, but requires skill to hit at a distance (mostly for the engage part). This should hit a good balance in between allowing skill expression but keeping Nasus a simple champion and prevent stat sticking by giving enemies a chance to avoid his slow so he can't chase them down. The New Q just gives Nasus some waveclear and the armor pen on it helps him fight top lane's tanks without the armor shred from his old E. Nasus's new passive is the special bit. I moved his old Q to the passive and combined it with the lifesteal so he still has some sustain but doesn't waste an ability slot on something as simple as his old Q. The old Q was just damage, you usually spammed it in fights and on minions anyways, so it does no harm to have it activated automatically for his passive. Finally his ult gives him sticking power and damage but can also slow people trying to chase him and even cause confusion with the nearsightedness. The Old R's damage aura was, again, bland. I've played loads of Nasus and I barely even notice it, it's just a bit of extra damage, but a slow (even a tiny 10% slow) and nearsightedness are actually cool. I know nearsighted can be an annoying effect, but if it's only on his ult it shouldn't be a problem. TLDR: Give Nasus a dash and make him a dedicated split pusher Well there it is. Perhaps I'm just biased, and I'm sure it could use some tweaking, but this should create a healthier playstyle for Nasus with healthier counterplay as well. It opens up more skill expression but keeps him simple and true to the fantasy of a scaling loner. PS: He might need more armor and mr growth too, but I'm not gonna get into stats right now

    @@K.Diablo_ strange place to ask but sure, divine sundered is solid right now, can’t really go wrong with it. You can mostly follow recommended items, but you usually want to buy plenty of tank items like spirit visage, force of nature, deadman’s plate, thronmail, etc. For runes conqueror is great for going on rampages, phase rush for sticking to people, and grasp of the undying for laning. Getting legend bloodline is nice, last stand and revitalize are good, transcendence for the ability haste is good, and approach velocity lets you run people down. Generally just focus on stacking your q and getting tanky enough to survive while you charge at people.

    also where games lastet 40 minutes and more and a Nasus was actually able to get a huge amount of stacks. These days the game is starting to end at like 20 minutes and nasus runs around with one (1) item finished, boots and the loose parts of another item, 300 stacks and thats just it.

    I permaban Nasus because Idk but to me laning vs a champion that has a stronger earlygame than me while also outscaling me doesn't seem like a good idea... Also Nasus might be not ideal at split-pushing, but him just trying to do so will mean that I can't split-push by myself because Nasus should beat Kayle at any point of the game, unless the Nasus has like no stacks

    Dota 2 has a certain champion called legion commander, basicliy , if legion wins the duel (her ult) she gains a precent of the defteted dueler stats and keeps them for her for the rest of the game

    Dota its balanced becouse if someone its OP they just mess around mana, and you can't spam spells that its + ,but game its ruined with patch 7/0 before that it was much better game i would not play lol, but in current state lol its way better

    same here, i usually get crushed in lane before watching his videos, usually by getting greedy for stacks and so, carnarius is the guy every main nasus wannabe has to watch.

    In SoloQ when I play Nasus I always have Ghost and Flash. It makes the game much much easier. I'm a Poppy main but Nasus is my 2nd best top champ. And I think he doesn't need a rework.

    I think that champs like Nasus and Tryn should get a rework because they are linear and op aswell as useless at the same time. I hate to play against him because he will 1v1 almost every other champ as he gets lvl6 even without much q stacks simply because he deals that much dmg and got free lifesteal on his passive. Also the attackspeed slow just prevents you from trading against him and surviving his ult is basicly impossible because he shreds your amor with e and deals % health magic dmg with ult. There is literally no way to make him viable in professional league or even in high elo, because his kit lacks every form of flexibility. He will just get kited in every coordinated tf and is too slow to push side lanes.

    @@ger12197 Vars had a great though. Make the W and E amplify each other based on which is used first. I personally play Nasus with Grasp or Phase Rush. -If I have to face a champ with weak early game, I go AP Tank and start with Spirit Fire to push them out of lane as I stack. Starting item is usually Rylai's so I don't necessarily have to use Wither. I still stack as it makes you do serious AP and AD midgame. -If I am fighting someone who has strong early game, I go tank item first, then armor pen. People also underestimate the power of a Spirit Visage.

    Indeed nasus is a good champ as he is it feels sooo rewarding just to igonre enemies early game to farm minions and then to farm the enemy and their towers😂

    Nasus may fall off in those super late game team fights, but at that point in the game he has about 600-700 stacks to just run down the nexus

    well, darius has 2 skillshots, his q and his e, if darius misses the q he is dead, as he is worse than nasus in a straight 1v1 without his passive, so making him needing another autoatac delays nasus death, in turn granting him more damage, w ensures that he is gonna miss his q, by running into darius.

    As a 200k points nasus main, i would simply say to give Nasus'r a move speed bonus or tenacity bonus based on stacks, 1% tenacity or 1% move speed per 75 stacks seems like a fair amount. Also, would be nice if his w could give him a move speed bonus when facing slow targets as a passive. As a result we would get a low mobility champ except when in fighting thus making it fair to play against and more enjoyable to play

    Filthy nasus main here the main problem that puts a lot of people off nasus Is the fact that cc is so widely spread around on every champion and due to the fact that games are ending much faster and when they do drag on like long long he falls off abit due to heavy cc in team fights. These are my 2 cents on them though. Edit I have finished the video and you hit most of the main issues spot on but imo some of his flaws can be replaced with spell book for gap closing as well ghost and flash to allow you to close in on those gaps that are not do able with flash tp.

    This is my idea of Nasus Rework: (The transformations will be explained below in the Rework Design section below) [Abilities] Nasus should be (AP) like Morde, based on Lore as an intelligent Mage & Strategist of Shurima. (Passive) True Ascendent: Nasus shows his fierce Intelligence by Enchants his abilities reaching his perfection. - At 50 stacks Nasus will transform and enchant his [Q] Siphoning Strike > Ascended Strike. - At 250 stacks Nasus will transform and enchant his [W] Wither > Decay. - At 500 stacks Nasus will transform and enchant his [E] Spirit Fire > Divine Fire. - At 1000 stacks Nasus will transform and enchant his [R] Fury of the Sands > Fury of the Ascended. "Enchant works like Vikor's 'Augment' on his abilties but with 'Stacks' and not levels so you need to earn them" Q (Siphoning Strike): Nasus' next basic attack within 8 seconds will deal Magic Damage to the target. - Last hitting Minions, Large Minions, Champions & Large Monsters grants you "Ability Power" AP. - (Minions - 2 Stacks) (L'Minions & L'Monsters - 8 stacks) (Champions - 15 stacks) (Baron & Elder - 30 stacks) - Resets Nasus basic attack timer. - Grants Lifesteal based on levels. - Stacks Restore 5% of your mana (Scales by levels) (Enchant) Ascended Strike - Nasus can now 'Leaps' in the air closing a short distance between him and his target (Dash) and also gives him a 2 second Ghost if when last-hits/kills Minions, Champions or Monsters). "Ascended Strike is similar to Jax (Q) Leap strike. Nasus original passive lifesteal only counts for his (Q) not basic attacks. His Stacks per kill are low for balance because (AP Stacks) will scale with all his abilities" W (Wither): Nasus ages the enemy champion slowing their Abilities Cooldown/Haste, Movement Speed & Attack Speed. - Spell Duration is 5 seconds. - Can be used on Towers (slowing down attack speed of Tower shots) (Enchant) Decay: Nasus (W) now Decays the enemy by Burning/Dealing Magic Damage (Scales with AP stacks) for the duration of the spell which is 4 seconds but at the end of the spell it Roots the enemy for (1.5 seconds) "Wither will be as usually but will now slow CDR on the enemies abilities. The enchant will be like an Ignite but not as powerful and will Root the enemies like Senna (W) at the end for (1.5 seconds), The Towershot thing is because I love the new Volibear Ultimate but instead of disabling tower just Wither/Decay the making them shoot slower" E (Spirit Fire): Nasus unleashed an AOE circle in the target area dealing Magic Damage (Scales with AP Stacks) - Spell Duration is 4. - Nasus gains a Shield based on the amount of Enemies inside the Spirit Fire - If Nasus is inside Sprit fire he gains movement speed but 'only' when he's inside. - Spell Range is 600. - Spell Radius is 350. (Enchant) Divine Fire - Enemies inside (E) Divine Fire recieve 'True Damage' from all sources. - Spell Range is 740. - Spell Radius is 480. "I removed the Armor Reduction from the base ability and made it 'True Damage' but only if you enchanted your Abilitiy which is 500 Stacks, it sounds broken but you have to earn it by stacking which won't be easy as usually" R (Fury of the Sands): Nasus growns 40% in size & empowers himself for 13 seconds. - (Q) Siphoning Strike/Ascended Strike Cooldown/Haste is halved. - Gain Bonus Health. - Gain Bonus Armor & Magic Resistance. - For each Enemy you kill during your (R) restores 20% of your maximum Health & Mana. (Enchant) Fury of the Ascended: Upon activation it fears nearby Minions, Monsters & Champions for 2.5 Seconds. - All (Q, W, E) Cooldowns/Haste are havled. - For each Enemy you kill during your (R) restores 30% of your maximum Health & Mana. - For each enemy you kill extends your (R) duration by 4 seconds. - Deals magic damage to nearby enemies each second (Scales with stacks) - Spell Radius is 500. "I've always liked the fact that Aatrox fears enemies when he activates his Ultimate so I want the same Fear for when a 1000 stack Nasus unleashes his Ultimate for the enemy team to scatter and run or FF, I've never liked the fact that Nasus earns stacks but is useless in a teamfight and can only just splitpush" [Rework Design or Base Skin] "I love Nasus but stacking can get kinda boring sometimes and feels like you're not progressing at all so for this I want Nasus to have a design similar to Kayle and be able to transform in-game but based on Stacks not Levels" (I would also love his abilities to look more sand like for example): - When he stacks enemies should be swallowed by Sand. - When an enemies dies from the Decay burn they should turn to dust. - When he gets a shield from Spirit Fire/Divine Fire it should look like a Sand-Shield almost similar to Gaara of the Sand. - When Ults it looks like Sandstorm and you can only see his Silhoute inside the storm looking menacing. (0 Stacks) Nasus still has the Anubis design but with not Armor at all, I want him to wear a Strategist type of outfit. (50 stacks) Nasus gets surrounded by a Sandstorm and when it disappeares he's wearing little peaces of Shuriman Armor. (250 stacks) Nasus gets surrounded by a Bigger Sandstorm and when it disappeares he's wearing more Armor peaces. (500 stacks) Nasus gets surrounded by a Giant Sandstorm and will now have his complete & updated Armor but should be Silver with Beautiful Shuriman pattern around it drawn in Gold. (1000 stacks) Nasus Armor gets engulfed with Golden Sand and Making the Armor perfected is Fully Gold. (2000 stacks) Nasus gets swallowed by a Bright Light as if the Sundisc is above him and his Golden Armor now shines with Divine light and his eyes burning a bright blue showing his Intelligence and Wisdom has reached Perfection and kinda telling the enemy team to Surrender because it's over. "I think this Design will work because I've never liked the fact that only you can see how powerful you are, so having the other player fighting against you notice your progression and will make him lose a little bit of hope or staying out of lane and losing CS"

    It sounds cool, I'd just ask a couple things: -How would you suggest a Nasus be able to survive the early game without his consistent sustain? By putting his lifesteal on his Q, you've kinda pigeonholed Nasus. He's leaning on stacking even more now. Either he's in a good match up and thus is allowed to heal some, or he's been shut down and has absolutely no options. -Having to wait until 1000 stacks to be able to use his passive on his R just kinda makes his passive useless there. Even 500 stacks isn't a consistent thing in many games. -Removing armor reduce on his E would weaken his already weak early game and severely cripple his midgame against any other tanks or juggernauts who stifle his stacking.

By putting his lifesteal on his Q, you've kinda pigeonholed Nasus " - You will be starting with 'Dorans Ring' and your stacks scale with AP (2 Stacks = 1 AP) this version of Nasus is not gonna be as weak as you think, having '60 Stacks' will be like having '3 Dorans Rings' use your E to poke your enemy out of lane. - And (AP) items are extremely cheap in League of Legends you will do a lot of Damage with that alone. - And your Q restores mana allowing you to spam more abilities. - You can also drop your (E) on a wave, get a shield & movement speed then stack the cannon, having a shield and lifesteal is a lot of survivability. - Nasus Spirit-Fire one of the Top abilities in the game that's almost impossible to dodge. - All Nasus abilties will scale with his stacks like (Veiger). " He's leaning on stacking even more now. Either he's in a good match up and thus is allowed to heal some, or he's been shut down and has absolutely no options " - No he's not leaning on stacking even more because all your abilities scale with 'Stacks' putting 3 points on your (E) will be even more impactful since it will get stronger even with 15 stacks (that's why I made the stacking so low because 50 stacks will be a huge powerspike) - You won't have to heal up anything if you have a Shield from you (E) because the little damage you recieve will be healed with your (Q) - At "50 Stacks" your (Q) will be a short Leap/Dash and having that with your (W) you can escapemost dangerous situations, Jax uses his (Q) for Offencively and Defencively by running away. " Having to wait until 1000 stacks to be able to use his passive on his R just kinda makes his passive useless there. Even 500 stacks isn't a consistent thing in many games " - His passive is not useless because you will literally have a built in ignite on you (W) at 250 stacks. - This version of Nasus is already "Overpowered" at 250 stacks. - The aim/goal of this Rework is to make the enemy team "Surrender" because you've scaled too much. - You don't need "500 or 1000 stacks" because (ALL YOUR ABILITIES SCALE WITH STACKS) you (Q, W, E) kill an enemy with your (R) gives you back 20% of your Mana & Health that's OP as hell. - Think about it (250 stacks = 125 AP damage) and with your Items it's more then enough. " Removing armor reduce on his E would weaken his already weak early game " - The (Current) Nasus doesn't use his (E) Armor penetration early game because unless you have enough 'Stacks & Sheen' you won't be doing enough damage to them, Mid-Game is where his (E) truly shines not early because now you can put points in it. - With the (Reworked) Nasus you don't have to worry much people will build Magic Resist not Armor, having Early 'Penetration Boots' or 'Oblivion Orb' your (Q, E, R) Dash, Lifesteal, Shield, Movement-Speed they won't be a problem and let's not forget at 250 stacks your (W - Decay) causes burn and scales with (AP) "severely cripple his midgame against any other tanks or juggernauts who stifle his stacking" - You will destroy them Mid-Game bro with the amount of Damage & Magic Pen you have they won't do anything to you, You can literally (W) themm throw down an (E) and watch them burn in it, when they get to half-health they will be at your mercy. - Liandry's Torment, Morellonomicon, Rylai's Crystal Scepter, Rod of Ages (You can literally be Tanky) - The reason I made getting "Stack" low is because you will kill anyone in your way at 100. - They won't stifle your stacking because you have enough survivability early. - You can even pick Sudden Impact for your (Q) at "50 stacks" which will give you armor penetration.     i was actually thinking about this when stumbled on your series, i think i would take the armour and MR from his R, lower it, but make it's ratio increase based on current stacks. i would also consider making Wither affect mages in ANY way, maybe reducing their magic penetration by a high % and not actual AP for the duration. i would leave spiritfire as it is though i think, maybe make the radius increase with stacks if anything, make it slightly smaller earlygame. base R would give say 15(+1 per 20 Q,stack + 1.2%MAXHP ratio) armour/15 magic resist (+1 per 20 Q,stack + 1.35%MAXHP ratio) and the additional 200ish HP it already gives. (slightly higher magic resist as mages are not as really scary without actual AP in the earlyish game, and wither does so much more to AD champions in general)

    I feel like Nasus it’s a very good champion though for the first half the match he ain’t going to be doing much because he deals almost no damage, has such little health and his op ability isn’t op yet but the second half of the match is him melting the enemy team, also fantastic video, I’m now a new subscriber

    Your idea was great! Make the W and E amplify each other based on which is used first. I personally play Nasus with Grasp or Phase Rush. -If I have to face a champ with weak early game, I go AP Tank and start with Spirit Fire to push them out of lane as I stack. Starting item is usually Rylai's so I don't necessarily have to use Wither. I still stack as it makes you do serious AP and AD midgame. -If I am fighting someone who has strong early game, I go tank item first, then armor pen. People also underestimate the power of a Spirit Visage.

    I think that objective bounties were an indirect buff for Nasus, as it makes it easier to come back mid-game once he's scary.

    As a nasus main in plat, my i my strategy is the following: Ghost and tp (unless u playing unsealed spellbook). Flash can save u from misspositioning or secure a kill, but ghost is sooooooo much better in teamfights Stack undertower, avoid trading with most toplaners, rarely q them early, wait for a possible gang When u stack enough, you can easily 1v1 after lv 6. Most won’t see it comming. You’ll at least send them to base and allow you to farm. Don’t cry over losing the turret. It gives way for better farm. Focus on stacking and getting their first tower down at least by minute 15 or so At midgame, so, ~ 15-20 min, durring teamfights, come in after your team engages, go for the enemys backline with ghost, take out the high damage dealers. Tenacity, dead man’s plate, force of nature are must items. In late, you are less powerful, but bc of your speed, you can zone out high damage dealers. Also. 1 shot turrets and second smite. I m playing in plat elo, so, this strategy might not work well for really high elo. Even playing nasus in diamond is hard, as the enemy team crushes you hard early, through slow pushing, gangs under tower, etc

    For my idea of a rework, we could keep Nasus' identity as an underpowered early game champ (while giving him the ability to trade and survive), and a stacking monster and a frontline tank in the late game, keeping his Q, R and Wither as part of his kit. Passive would be his stacks. Siphon: Everytime Nasus kills (minions, monsters and champs) with a damaging ability, adds a stack of this passive (minions and small jungle monsters gives 1 stacks and objectives/buffs/champs gives 4.) The stacks affects all of his skills. It stacks infinitely. Q Will be his signature headbonk. Nasus empowers his next auto, dealing damage, enhanced by the amount of stacks and heals based on 5% of his max hp. (His stacks should increase this damage by a lot more than his current Q stacks does) W is his wither. Nasus commands an area to wither, slowing all enemies in its range, dealing continuous damage, and reducing armor, AP, and attack speed. (Basically his W and E combined) stacks should increase the slow effect up to 50% and increase the armor reduction up to 35%. E should be his ability to gap close and/or chase down retreating enemies. Serving as both mobility and cc. Nasus jumps towards an area, dealing AOE damage and knocking enemies up by .25 seconds. Stacks increase damage by a little and increase range and knock up(knock up increases to .5 seconds after hitting 20 stacks) R Nasus grows large, gaining mr, armor, and hp, and reducing Q cooldown by 25%. Stacks could increase Q cooldown up to 50%, and increases hp, mr and armor.

    i like it. I would remove the dmg from the W and maybe change E to some other kind of utility besides gap closer. Maybe an aoe that would deal % max hp dmg and root enemies affected with wither.

    I was thinking, i mean, nasus has troubles getting to kill targets since the boyo is so slow, but what if his wither got buffed, maybe it also prevents the usage of dash like abilities while doing the rest of things, the E could also slow down enemies in a less significant way but could help you get to the enemies, it maybe gave you a mobility boost if you moved on it? Also, a thing that i think would make sense would be for Nasus's R aoe damage had an additional thing to get enemies blinded as long as they are in his range or for a significant amount of time, after all is called fury of the sands, so it is a sandstorm, right? Last but not least, his q could have some extra range or smthn, maybe it messes up with you in some way? Idk

    If Nasus ever gets reworked, I just really hope he keeps his Q mostly as it is. Boosted autoattacks which can hit turrets is something he is just so well known for and "DE CANE!" is iconic to him. It be like Gangpank losing his pistol or ult.

    Passive - Whenever Nasus kills a unit, he gains one stack. If this unit is a champion or a large/epic Jungle Monster, this is increased to 3. Stacks have special effects on your abilities. Q - Pretty much the same as before, but better. It’s the same thing (including stacking, yes I know both his Q and passive will stack. ONLY the Q will benefit off of both its own stacks and the passive combined, so it’s stacks on stacks.), It also heal Nasus, increased if he is below half health W - Nasus marks an enemy champion by glaring at them. Nasus gains movement speed and tenacity by running towards them, increasing with stacks E - Nasus turns an area into quicksand, slowing the attack speed, armor, and movement speed of enemies in it, also marking them. This ability has a passive of marked enemies will take Q’s damage if nearby another marked enemy, consuming the mark, increasing the range of the damage sharing based off of stacks R - Same thing, but stats scale off of stacks

    I feel like they could make Wither an AoE or possibly even a charge-based ability like Corki's Ult. People often forget that Wither also applies an attack speed slow which is meant to help Nasus fight a 1v1. If Wither could apply in an AoE it would mean that the people trying to peel Nasus would also be weakened, allowing him to fight them instead. It could also perhaps allow for a Support Nasus playstyle with CDR, akin to how he plays in Teamfight Tactics. As for anti-tank? Divine Sunderer exists specifically to give Brawlers like Nasus a tool against Tanks.

    Maybe make him more like veigar where all of his kit scales with stacks, give his ult more cooldown for his other abilities and wither reduce the effectiveness of other movement speed buffs phase rush for example. I think riot experimented with this in the pbe around summer last year?

    I've honestly had a surprising success with playing Nasus jungle ghost/smite in gold. It's very rare for enemies to invade you more than once early game, when you reach level 6 you can easily duel everyone, and people always forget about your existence until you come rushing in and destroy them. If the enemies are dispersed, you can easily charge in and 1 vs 2, if they group, you can destroy towers in a few seconds and easily dive and kill any enemy too eager to stop you without waiting for his team.

    I think the best approach is to give Nasus milestones with his Q stacks; e.g. at 200 Syphon Stacks get movement speed when you cast something, or something else(utility). The main problem with Nasus is that the amount of damage you gain from farming doesn't keep up with the game, indeed there's a sweet spot to when you should stop caring about stacks, but it's difficult to understand. Giving him extra utility with his stacks would be great.

    And he has 2 AoE dmg abilities, plus a massive execute that can kill you even without many stacks. He also has an easier time stacking since he can stack by just hitting enemy champions (easier now with the reworked Q) so he has an easier time accessing his scaling portion. It's like the difference between Kassadin and Kayle. Although both of them reach their peak at level 16, Kassadin has a strong kit pre LVL 6 compared to Kayle, allowing him to at least contest stuff, and his ultimate allows for great roams , while Kayle can only sit in the lane, farm it and farm some jungle mobs, hoping to reach level 11 or 16 with some decent items to be useful, and even then she is still at a disadvantage most of the time. I think it's mostly because of how powerful her ult active is compared to Kass, but I'd rather play Kass than Kayle if I'm going for a lvl scaling champ

    I've played a lot of moba over the years (granted it was on a mobile moba but the game knowledge is there) but I'll be trying to rework nasus after seeing his kit and playingna few games with him.

    There are 2 flaws in the video, 1 minor and one major: The minor flaw is in regard to scaling, resistances while they provide with a percentage reduction they do not scale exponentially, they do so logarithmically, meaning that after 100 points in armor or MR you get diminishing returns unlike damage wich is linear. That's why early armor items, like tabi's, feel so strong, because they provide a grater reduction at that stage of the game. If you factor in armor pen then you could say that armor yields better results in the early mid game, while damage is consistently useful through the game. The major flaw is regarding splitpushin in solo qeue, wich is the highest winrate strategy in said enviroment because of the lack of coordination. When you splitpush you don't need to draw 3 people to be succesful, the only real condition is that you're slightly ahead to fight your laner or the midlaner if they come to defend, and pay atention to the minimap. They reason why it works is due to the fact that even if the enemy team doesn't defend you're farming and breaking towers neting you a bigger XP and gold lead you can use to turn around team fights, and even if they defend if they send the wrong person you dive them and keep going. Of course if you don't use your brain and you just go front to back ARAM all over the enemy team without vision, or taking an angle or something then yes, you will never be able to win the fight; if you're to scared to fight people undertower or 2v3 or take the enemy jungle, then yes you will never break towers or presure the map; if you are blind and don't pay atention to the minimap nor move the camera over the fights you will never notice that perfect flank opportunity; if you don't look at the minimap and you just rush to the next wave you will get gangbanged. The point being splitpushing is a strategy that relies solely on macro knowledge in a game where macro and thinking is king. I due agree though that Nasus sucks at splitpushing because to do so effectively and reliably you NEED to get ahead first, you NEED to win lane, something that nasus strugles with. Nasus's kit is not meant to work as that of a split pusher but that of a traditional vanguard tank, where your objective is to farm good enough in the early to gain levels and a couple tank items and then take up space and soak up damage while relying on your base damage and/or CC to pose a threat to the enemy team so they HAVE to deal with you. The problem being that even in that regard he can be a bit luckluster compare to other tanks like shen or poppy.

    I don't play league anymore but man I always wanted to play nasus. Always liked his lore and theme. But he always was a feast or famine champ that only got to work after minutes and minutes of farming while enduring bullying in lane. I wish he got reworked, his kit has been the same for years.

    As a Main.. Replace his Passive with his "Siphoning Strike" passive. Where, for every ability that kills someone, it stacks his passive. Which boosts his abilities by a small, flat amount. Siphoning Strike remains the same, each point powers it up. For his W, the more damage you get the longer it'll slow, for every 10stacks his W lasts .5 seconds longer. For his E, for every stack the % health damage and armor reduction goes up by .5 His ULT duration OR HP will be effected by his stats, have it so it's similar to W, every 10 stacks it lasts .5 seconds longer or for every stack he gains HP on his ult. Now, the AMOUNT of stacks you'd actually get would have to differ. It can't be "6 and 12" like the current Siphoning Strike, since it doesn't grant it to JUST the Q. And getting to 700 stacks should be something of a difficult moment. OR we can have it so that his W gives him Movement Speed towards the affected Target. And when he ults his abilities also gain a bit of a different, or "Empowered" affects, W now stuns for 0.5 Seconds if the full duration is kept on the target, and his E will shred more armor and deal more % Health damage. His Passive, regardless, IMO, needs to be reworked. It's the ONE passive that just goes unnoticed. And is easily taken away by Grievous Wounds. Can give him something like Veigars kit, but becuase of the insane damage that Nasus would then have? Not really prudent to give him that levle of scaling. Reworking Nasus would be difficult. IF we want to make him more Harry Potter novel skills then we lose his core identity and that means we turn him into Yorick and Aatrox. His ult empowering his other abilities like it does his Q would be significant enough of a change that it'd make him more viable. HAving it so that his W now also stuns if it isn't cleansed would make him a threat against Primary targets. He gets to W your carry? Now they're REAL slow, and inevitably will be briefly stunned. How can they work against that? IT doesn't matter fi the tank is peeling Nasus away, empowered abilities makes him a threat. Or abilities that ALSO scale off of his stacks would make him a HUGE threat. He has counter-play by not being very mobile, and with proper countering of Nasus his stack gains would be impossible. Therefore, disrupting his powered up abilities. I think that'd be more effective than what we have now. And he'll fall in line with Veigar and A'sol, BOTH of which have stacks that DIRECTLY impact their other abilities. With A'Sol having an evolved R because of it. He needs something like that.

E while in it gets reduced damage from true & percent dmg an gains the armor&mr, maybe also immune to grevious wound or put that on ult. while R act Q,W do aoe, E can be moved. pass gain 6% omni vamp & atk speed for each nearby enemy champ (help vs eg tower dives), when an new enemy champ appears nearby for 8 sec will gain 6%*(number of enemy champs) hp from all dmg dealt to them.

    Interaction between abilities is needed, as well as numeric adjustment. For example, E could be a tool to do significant AOE or bypass frontline, if used correctly: when an ability is used on an enemy, minion or champion, within the area, it may be partialy replicated on other enemy champions within the area (E would in fact be affected by stacs). Or any other kind of interaction, accombined with other balance changes.

    @@jonhard1049 but the problem is that campsions that have dashes in their kits also have flash so it's not fair because in theory every time nasus flashes enemy can too

    I use spirit visage and trinity force but i began to use new items like for magic damage and youd be curious how you can 1v4 anytime after 20 min.

    I think split pushing is extremely strong in soloq, especially low elo soloq. Split pushing allows you to funnel gold on yourself, giving yourself more agency. You should be winning lane regardless, because low elo laners can't lane for shit. Grouping 5v5 is extremely coinflippy, and thus splitting and praying your team doesn't int is better because you are guaranteed the side lane.

    Bit harsh on my boi but your points were valid. I'd give him a mini rework make q cooldown shorter but gain less stacks and hit less hard, make it apply a stacking debuff that's armour shred and if it gets to 3 a stun. Keep wither maybe make spirit fire a projectile or a cone or something. Make getting a kill with q reset duration of ult.

    oh right so Nasus is my former main so here comes the rework that I have just recently come up with: Passive: Nasus gains 60 bonus movement speed and 1%/17%/25% omnivamp (1% at lvl1, 17% at lvl 11, 25% at max lvl) [this is the first part of Nasus' "new" passive]. He is also permanently ghosted Nasus has one item from the start of the game that is exclusive to Nasus, named the golden helm of the fallen empire(this item acts like Viktor's old hex core, so Nasus can't sell it to the shop). Nasus can upgrade this item three times, gaining bonus effects for his Q W and E. Upon being fully upgraded, his ultimate will automatically gain a bonus effect just like his Q W and E. Q: target range: 200 (his attack range is 150), type of ability: basic attack empowerer, mana cost: 60 mana for all ranks, cooldown: 12/10/8/6/4, no cast time Active: Nasus' next basic attack is empowered to deal bonus on-hit magic damage equal to 3%(+4% per 100 AP) of the target's maximum health. If he manages to kill an enemy with his Q, he restores 15/20/35/40/80 mana and permanently gains 6 AP. If he kills an enemy champion, he gets 12/15/18/21/24 AP BONUS EFFECT: Nasus attack range permanently increases to 200. When casting his Q, his attack range increases to 250. All of his abilities' cooldowns decrease by 50% W: target range: 500, type of ability: single target point and click utility, mana cost: 80 mana for all ranks, cooldown 16/16/16/10/8, cast time: 0.5 Active: Nasus slows and cripples the targetted enemy by 35/60/70/80/99% for 5 seconds. If the enemy carried this debuff walks into his E, that enemy and other enemies standing on his E are stunned for 2 seconds and affected by the effect of his E instead BONUS EFFECT: the stun is replaced by the airborne. This W can't be cleansed, and so can the airborne not be. Nasus' W can now be used on an ally's champion or cannon/super minion, gaining that ally's target 99% movement speed and 99% attack speed for 5 seconds. The target range goes up to 700 E: cast range: 700, type of ability: aoe damage-over-time free-target spell, mana cost: 80/90/100/110/120, cooldown 24/21/16/12/10, cast time: 0.5, effect radius: 500 Active: Nasus summons a circle, dealing 15/20/30/40/45(3% of Nasus' total ap) magic damage per tick every 0.25 seconds. This circle lasts for 10 seconds, slows all enemies for 50% for 10 seconds, reduces enemies' total magic resistance by 10%/20%/30%/40%/50% for 10 seconds and reveals the enemies in that circle for 10 seconds BONUS EFFECT: the cast range goes up to 900, the cast time reduces to 0, the effect radius increases to 650 and the mr reduction goes up to 20%/30%/40%/50%/60% R: cast range: 0-500(500 with the BONUS EFFECT), type of ability: self buff -> self and allies buff, mana cost: 100mana, cooldown: 100/90/80, cast time: 0.2, effect radius: 400 Passive: Nasus gains 1 ap whenever he kills an enemy, gains 15 ap instead if he kills an epic monster. Active: Nasus deals 20[+1%/1.5%/2%(+0.5% per 100 ap) of enemies' max health] magic damage every 0.5 seconds to nearby enemies, gains 300/400/500 (+10% of Nasus' total ap) bonus health, 50/60/70 (+10% of Nasus' total ap) bonus armor, 50/60/70 (+10% of Nasus' total ap) mr, 60% increased size, 60% tenacity and slow immune. Nasus R lasts for 10/20/30 seconds. BONUS EFFECT: Nasus can use his R to buff an ally champion or cannon/super minion The golden helm of the fallen empire: +125 health +250 mana +10 armor +10 magic resist unique: This item can be only purchased by Nasus. Nasus can spend 1500 to upgrade this item, gaining BONUS EFFECT for his Q W E and bonus stats for his item. He can upgrade this item 3 times and upon being fully upgraded, the golden helm of the fallen empire will give him a total of 500 bonus health, 1000 bonus mana, 40 bonus armor, and 40 bonus mr. On top of that, Nasus R will automatically gain BONUS EFFECT

    9 months later I become a new player with nasus as main and I’m fine with people not giving him the credit he deserves.In fact most of the time I’m underestimated and get kills over greedy opponents.He’s a bit hard to use in the beginning because he’s not that tanky and struggles with ranged opponents but mid and end game he becomes a champ that turns the tides and I can’t tell you how many teams get discouraged from a big nasus with his team at his back.

    He doesn’t need much he’s pretty solid, even in high elo but if there was one thing. Just make him and his allies gain movement speed on withered opponents. Not crazy but it would help with ganks allow him to roam better/tp plays and shut down adcs. Maybe even make he’s spirit fire give slight movement just for him. Very late comment but hey he’s my main.

    ngl, I muuuuuch prefer the old stat checking champion compared to the new ones, they dont have any bs in their kit, they either win cuz they are stronger or lose cuz they are weaker, they cant cheese wins in fights through some bs in their overloaded kits

    Nasus is a relic of an older time. While i agree that he needs a rework. I dont think he needs a drastic change like aatrox or urgot have had. His biggest issues are that he is often outran and ussually the biggest target of enemy crowd control. He has plenty of survivability with the amount of lifesteal he has, and being a naturally tanky champ. Change his E, to also give him movespeed towards affected champions. Makes it easier to catch priority targets or chase retreating enemies. And give his R a speed or tenacity boost while lowering the bonus health he gets. Or simple removing the bonus health altogether and giving him short term CC immunity during the first moments of the skill being casted. Having other abilities scale with his stacks would also make it more interesting. Of course not in damage because that would be a bit too strong. But maybe giving his W more armor reduction scaling with stacks or R healing him equal to the amount of stacks.

    Make his W a skillshot and nerf his base stats in exchange for a dash (If he hits his W he gets a dash) lower his stack points (12 - 8 3 - 1) for scaling with abilities or just an AOE q (this might seem overpowered but it's not because of how less tanky he would be and his W would be a skillshot)

    Low elo nasus main here, nasus has 1 big weakness, CC literally any champ with any form of CC will kill you if you don play around it. any kind of dash or movement would be perfect, just remove his w and applay the inverse on nasus, give him a bit of speed.

    @@emanueleragno5616 he already has no counterplay, as long a nasus dodges, you are dead, as you cant run away as he has his W, if you give him a dash instead, you grant the oportunity for both to actually outplay each other.

    @@emanueleragno5616 Nasus has counterplay. It's called don't let him free farm and learn some wave management. Apply pressure to him throughout the game. Harass him in lane, get the jungler to gank if he pushes up, don't let him free farm. The goal is to build a lead that outpaces his scaling.

    Imo Wither is the ability that needs to be looked at. For a targeted ability it is way too strong against any auto attacker in a 1v1 (you can legit cast it on adc's an just run them down with no counterplay). But while fighting a mage Wither does next to nothing. The other part is. His whole kit is basically made to counter tanks (slow early, lifesteal, armor shred, his whole ult), but Wither is once again useless against every tank not named Shen. Imo if they made Wither more useful against non adc's he instantly becomes good if not op. Another option is to make him a jungler, he was played that way in season 2/3? I don't remember and couldn't find it. But his kit overall is actually quite suitable to go into the jungle, he would just need an E buff against jungle monsters or something like that.

    Tbh veigar best strength compare to nasus is not that his stacks affects all his kit , its that he is range and so can way more easily and safely stack up his passive where nasus unless playing jgl can't , very often if you play top as nasus you will get bullied out of the waves and out of farming your stacks because your opponent knows that you can't do jack shit about it
