If someone is willing to spend $1,000,0000 on a house that is actually worth $200,000 - that doesn’t make the house worth $1,000,000. Value is value. The reality is 99.99% NFTs have ZERO value. Those that actually might have some is still 100% perceived value and not real. It was a HUGE con game.

NFTs were never valuable. They were bought up solely on the premise that prices would increase beyond the initial plunge, then you'd be able to pawn them off onto someone else. If nobody wants to pay for your custom url pointer, then I guess it was never that valuable in the first place lol

Blockchain isn’t about being money, pump & dump etc. It’s about safe & reliable data transfer for cheap costs (as well as being privacy preserving if paired with ZKPs). 99% of the market is still doing pump & dump, traffic is also heavily influenced by AirDrop farmers, NFT buyers etc

The real cool thing about this whole NFT revolution is that now it is possible for people to buy a jpeg for $1,000,000. Even if they are getting scammed, the fact that it can happen at all is really cool from a technological innovation point of view. Go far back in the past enough and it would have been unimaginable that anyone would buy a jpeg for any amount of cash whatsoever. Now it is possible. Even if the value goes to $0.
