Our grandparents used to be able to have two kids, a stay at home wife, a house, a car, and a big bank account all on the 1 male working a decent job, nothing too crazy. These days, 1 male at a decent job and your probably going to be in serious debt. It’s sad.

I’am a small crane operator… Rotating telehandler from any brand.. Manitou, Magni, Merlo etc.. Magni are sold in the US as bobcat… Mean reason according to my last employer is that the big cranes are to expensive during a crisis so they hire the smaller ones even more than regular…

Yeah but listen what he just said about the 1930s crash, their were no construction jobs either. The 2008 recession was quickly saved with massive money printing. They won’t be able to save this next crash the same way, I’d expect a different outcome.

A lot of that currently has to do with inflation but before the current inflation crisis it was due to increased transportation costs & increased material costs.
