I stopped taking the bait a few years ago. It's been a long 6 years since I realized what I married almost 40 years ago. He's gotten worse with every passing year. I've gotten smarter, I dodge his traps easier. More space, more boundaries... What ever I can do. The Lord has comforted me and taught me it's okay to "avoid" a problematic person.

WOW!!! My Wife is upstairs right now, cleaning the mess up from the wine and wine glasses she threw and broke in the early am. While she's doing this she's Ranting out loud, her inner thoughts, to who knows who. I have NO IDEA the reason she got upset in the 1st place. I just REFUSED to participate in the 'Baiting'. I refer to it as ...'Throwing the baby out with the bathwater syndrome'. I give it to God . No worries. He's in Control. 🙏🏼

Why is that, they constantly feel the need to narrate everything they're doing, he could be perfectly quiet but as soon as I walk in the room he starts narrating his life, or complaining about situations just talking constantly whether someone's listening or not, it's the weirdest thing ever

My husband just starts screaming about something I supposedly did or did not do. The bottom line is always about power & control. It really turns my stomach, but I work hard to go grey rock & not take the bait.

That's not easy at best. I've had family members that are narcissists. It was some of the most difficult situations I ever had to deal with.

They need fuel. They pick fights with you so they can obtain INFORMATION that will be used against you. They always make sure that you are on the defensive because of their scapegoating.

When you're already been in that same unwanted again it's not even for a reason BUT ALWAYS WITH AN AUDIENCE OF STRANGERS TO THEM ALSO BUT BEFRIENDING THE Crowd before the narcissist invites you over to be belittled , So when you've Learnt this already they instantly realise .. I'm not having this and you see the LOOK of anger and the physical pain they intend to do on you.

Yes I'm learning to just not respond to the yelling put downs blaming and anger.i just keep reading or watching my videos.ear plugs have helped every day when they come back from work wow it's like a big over grown child having a melt down.well it's also bulling .I just act stuiped.

Your cooking dinner and Narc opens InstaPot three minutes in especially turning it off. Then they have eaten, and the rest of the house has not as they had a burger and we had turkey legs. So I take the dog outside and I come in to see him gobbling up the steamed vegetables for us and claimed , "Oh I thought you ate already." He has been causing drama a lot lately. Separately what to do when they vandalize your vehicle but you got to prove it and you don't have video evidence so police say well it's he said she said 💩🙄

Unfortunately that's true. More than one woman lost her life from involving themselves with a narcissist after they break up with them.

To start off I’m a 35 year old with health issues and currently living my parents… I have been deflecti g argue e tsp with my father all week… over small stuff like cleaning my room and drinking his soda when I haven’t touched them. His new tactics are staging scenes to prove he is right like this morning he took 3 sodas to work instead of his normal two to prove I stole on so he can be justified waking me up super early to catch me off guard to yell to get a rise out of me… I have practicing the grey stine method but this time he won..

During our marriage every 3-5 days he was angry Abt his ex messing up his life so he couldn't have a regular job. That was the reason he couldn't hold a job. I stood my ground. He couldn't break me like my daughter's dad did

When I first started watching Rebecca's videos I was in denial. I needed the repetition in order to help me see reality. I'm sure there are others who need the repetition also. When we are documenting things repetition is important to show a pattern. We need to learn patterns

I’m calm.

My ex-girlfriend had a pattern of starting a fight just before I was scheduled to take a flying lesson. She had already told me that she didn’t want me to fly, however, I never asked her why but I did tell her that , that was a dealbreaker, because I was flying before we met. I really felt bad about a stupid fight just a day before I needed to be at my best. She asked me to come by her apartment to talk the next day with a baited question. She asked me, “when was the last time that you had sex”? I said that the the last time you had sex was the last time I had sex. If you had sex yesterday then I had sex yesterday. I then recited this little toast as we both had a glass of wine. ‘’Here’s to me and here’s to you and here’s to love and laughter, I’ll be true, as long as you, and not one minute after.’’ I caught her later having an affair with a married cop on a night I stopped by when I was supposed to be at work. Her loss 😅.

Oh my goodness. I thought this just happened to me. Except that I just had to do all the christmas (and birthday, etc) planning and purchasing. 9 years of marriage and he has never purchased a single gift or dinner or anything for a single birthday, mother's day, anniversary, or any gift ever for either of my wonderful sons.

😢you are so 100..my narcissist likes to go to the bar every single night and since we don't live together I don't know how his nights end ..but I'm very intuitive so I know..anyway I'm never invited after I found out about the first(admitted) cheating anymore so he some nights will pick a fight out of nowhere so he doesn't have to answer my text or calls for either the night or 2 or 3 days then I block him so sometimes its a week sometimes its 3. I figure its however long the fling will stick around then guilty me back..can't live without me broke his leg he's sick he wants to live together and the last time the morning of the "fight" he was humming here comes the bride while he got ready for work😂 but I know how he is now so I don't cry anymore and every time he did his scandalous crap I got stronger..he has spent 1 holiday with me in over a year..I'm glad he's gone I pray everyday he finds a new supply ...stay strong !!

She picks wife fights with me so she can give me the silent treatment because you know how much it hurts me and it gives her a feeling of power

You know another thing they do is they do these baiting and manipulation Tactics right after a lovebombing phase. It confuses the empathic psyche. It really does. I'm tired of talking about all that. You can do to a man you can get. I'm having a really hard time now. I'm In the fog. I have a wonderful daughter going through the same thing and ive got to learn something so I can help my daughter ive got 2 beautiful grandchildren I feel like im going crazy

He gets in invited to bdays holiday stuff he forgets or starts a fight. Promises things and never comes through with it. One of the biggest things that happened to me with my toxic husband for sure, I don't know Abt narc because he did what he wanted to for his sons but his daughters did count as much. We went and looked a rings I picked one out and put it in layaway. He said he was going to buy it for me for Christmas. It was amethyst n diamonds around the gem. That Christmas when he gave it to me he had an attitude n said I knew I had to get this to come home!!! N was pissed he had to buy it for me. When we went out to eat he would conveniently leave his wallet at home. If the kids were there I paid so they were ok n had fun. But date night he would have it sometimes. I ll never forget the look on his face when I drove to a restaurant asked him if he had his wallet he acted like he CKed n then said no. I reversed the vehicle n went home. 😂😂😂All the way home he was quiet n got home n slammed all the doors did stuff that was to piss me off. He left n didn't come BK til the next day
