"Because what people really want and what people think they want are two different things; people think they want to win but in reality there is a limit to how many times you can win and the excitement still holds value. If you win continually, it starts to feel meaningless like "What is the point of all this? We are getting paid anyway? All we are doing is finishing first..." When you really think about what creates excitement in any sport, it is losing. Losing is what creates the excitement, not the winning. It is the losing that creates the desire to win and sucks the community into the excitement that all of this is important and not meaningless. Of course, you don't want to lose too much because if one loses too much, it creates the same sensation as winning too much. Just as in color, the reverse of black is white, so in terms of success, the reverse of winning is losing. So in a way, it is the same thing said or seen in another way. So if one could orchestrate the perfect vision of success, they would not win too much and they would not win too quickly; they would win in a way where they were always improving and only sometimes got the victory. This is the optimum strategy to create the great illusion of excitement."

No dominance is fine. No one was complaining when Man U was doing it. I'll keep saying that until we start having that discussion.

United spent what they earned, mainly from commercial revenue. It wasn't always that way
