The problem with being an Arsenal fan is Arteta has insulated us with so many indestructible players that I’m allergic to any suggestion that a player might be prone to injury. Olise’s hamstrings have looked a bit suspect this season.

my mum scouted this lad when she was a teacher assistant at the school he and i both attended. she saw hundreds of kids go through the primary school system but she said he was special - and she was right! Christian Saydee at Portsmouth was in Olise’s class. happy to report our school won every football competition that year! Amazingly, my mum also said that Richard Olise was better than his big brother!

@@ellis2394 i have definitely met him - since he knew my mum as a teaching assistant. he was nice, and needed a *little* extra support with his attitude at school. his post-match interviews are very true to who he is! but yeah, primary school, and a few years younger than me so.. my memory of him is fleeting!

@@MMXKHXCP Palmer is really a 10 like Foden. That's where he has shined the most playing for Chelsea playing through the middle with Madueke playing on the right wing. Olise is more of a natural winger because of his explosive pace and athleticism.

The problem with Olise and the other talented left wide player, Neto, is their injury records and the types of injuries. It's very hard to ignore them when doing player evaluation. Especially if you are, let's say Liverpool, and you are already dealing with Jota's regular absences. Can you really afford to take a risk on any of the two guys with dodgy hamstrings? Especially if you are an aggressive pressing team?

AHEAD. OF. THE. CURVE.

Two things. 1) Wish the broadcasters or whoever would allow the use of footage from creators in their videos. I really enjoy and appreciate your content, and it would be so nice to see footage instead of screen shots, as I don 't get chance to watch too much football. 2) IT's surely a mouth noise, and not a sound effect. I'd love him at Liverpool. With his injury record, I feel like he and Harvey Elliott would balance really nicely, so that there wouldn't be too much of a drop off in terms of style and quality. With Salah possibly on the move, someone with Olise's quality would really soften that blow.

as a utd fan i love Olise's playstyle. very inentional n good decisionmaking. im also sure Hojlund is gna greatly appreciate a winger that ACTUALLY passes the damn ball n i think the both of em can rly produce some good numbers once the gears start rotating. only concern i have is his injury issue. i understand that from retrospect it's been pretty clean but i dont think we can just write off this season, especially from a Utd pov. if he does turn out to be a player genuinely prone to injury then it's gna be an absolute nightmare considering our medical staff. its gna be a recipe for disaster. if we want him then our medical staff has gotta quit screwing about n actually start bein a little more srs.

The question is who will they replace. Gordon cannot replace Foden on the Left Wing. Palmer cannot replace Saka and Bellingham (2 of the first players on the team sheet) in the Right Wing and CAM position respectively.

Because Olise isn't going to help their defense and defensive midfield. Also why move to a team you've just beaten 4-0 lol. He should look to play UCL next season.

That’s a hodgson problem not an Olise problem. All our players got injured under Roy because he mishandled player fitness. He was always fit under vieira and likely will be under Glasner

Replacement for Salah ?!

I think he's class, but i love Eze. The guy can play cm, lw, rw and as a no 10... And be class in every position. How many players can do that? I'd love him and Olise at Liverpool. Not gona happen but you can dream... And for me Eze not only goes to the Euros, he starts. I don't care where but he needs to play.

It actually pains me that this guy is just far too good for my club... He is absolutely unbelievable, probably world class. I'd love to live in a dream world where him, Eze and Guehi all stay and we start to have a wonder generation with Glasner at the helm, upping his Frankfurt glory but... He has one of the best left foots in the prem, he can cross, dribble, set pieces, creative passing, long shots... Like there really isn't much he can't do, I don't see how he doesn't go to a top tier club. The only thing I hope is that because he's so unbelievable, more teams fight over him this offseason and don't focus on Eze as well, so we can at least keep one of them for another season, as he is also probably too good to not be at a top 6 team.

If he was able to play more than 70 minutes before breaking down for 2+ weeks he'd actually be a useful player in addition to being a decent player.

Without injury troubles he could have been a prime target for most top PL teams

He is a fantastic footballer, but his injury record is terrible. Man plays 1 game gives 8/10 performance, and then missed 4 games due to injury. Imagine if Liverpool medical team get their hands on this guy, he would retire at 24
