ABOUT US
We’re the Lockwoods. And we’re traveling the world to experience-up close and in person-all the natural wonders and distinct cultures that our kids would otherwise be consuming only through textbooks and TV. We think it’s a better way to learn and we’re working hard to fund this little experiment in the hope that our kids will grow up wiser, kinder, and more grateful for the beauty of our diverse planet and its people.

personally, most Filipinos would buy the oven toaster and not the standard toaster, because with an oven toaster, you can use it for more items than just bread, aka reheating most fried food so that they remain crispy, or cook simple things like hotdogs, hams, and sometimes bacon. BTW love that last show of everyone waiting for toast. That placed a huge smile on my face.

@@livethephilippinesYes, we usually prefer that type of toaster. Like even if you have stale chips, just toast it in the ‘oven-style’ and it’s crunchy good again (after cooling). And they’re sometimes the same price too (for small ones).

Asahi is a trusted brand in the Philippines you'll never go wrong with that toaster. I've been using mine for years and yes that lid is a plus point. And also, when purchasing appliances online or any electronics always look for the official store and check the reviews too.

Oven toaster is just simple & ordinary kitchenware but most of us, Filipinos sometimes are ignorant without any knowledge on how to use it or how to operate a certain thing the easiest & advanced way without any difficulty. But, at first, we try to joke each other if we don't even know how, "Ow, there's nothing like that in the mountain, that's why we don't know about it, ha ha ha 🤣. Then, we assist & show how it can be operated. Nice upload & learning peocess on how to operate & use any kitchenwares, appliances or gadgets as well. Thanks for sharing & God bless 🙏😇! :-)

I am an American. It's lived over here. 35 years. Most of my life has been in the Philippines. Well, these things may seem cheap to you. It's quite apparent. You don't really understand our economy. The idea that these items are cheap is simply not the case. I don't know what your 'e income looks like but I'm in the seven figure range and own a few businesses here that took 20+ years to build I who suggest learning our language? and spending like a local Filipino stop saying things are cheap they really aren't think of it like this most entry-level positions in the Philippines pay 570 pesos a day subtract taxes you're looking at about 520 . Add an exchange rate of 55 pesos per dollar 850 pesos for a toaster is equivalent to based on US standards of $17 per hour and an eight hour workday which would gross you 136 USD a Day that toaster is all over one hundred dollars USD more importantly that toaster is most like built with interior parts I know that local company well.

You can find cheaper appliances just look for the SM appliance center or whatever mall it is. I agree about not petting cats and dogs outside BGC most of them are unvaccinated
