Why Mallorca's crackdown on party tourists is doomed to fail I Done Differently

#Partying in #Mallorca - is that your kind of holiday?
Partying on the beach, alcohol by the litre, and hitting the clubs until dawn - you probably have instant images in your mind when you think of partying in Mallorca. Mallorca has been attracting party tourists for decades - especially Brits and Germans. And they have increasingly become a problem for the island. That's why Mallorca has tightened up the rules over the years and again this spring, to curb the most extreme drinking. But has that made any difference at all?
In our new episode Done Differently, we took a closer look at party tourism in Mallorca, asked tourists about their "behaviour" and, above all, wanted to know from locals whether anything has changed.
Chapters:
00:00 What's the problem with party tourism in Mallorca?
01:00 How did Mallorca become a magnet for party tourists?
02:00 What it’s like for locals living and working in Mallorcas "party areas"

04:18 How do tourists themselves think about their behavior?
04:55: Locals perspectives on what has changed
05:58: Outlook: Is Mallorca destined to put up with Europe’s rowdiest party-goers forever?
