I'm sure apart from the "abang" being in a rush, the reason why he paid for you and left was because you wouldn't be able to refuse his kind gesture, or repay him in any other form. A sincere act of kindness without expecting anything in return. I have met many people doing it this way. Not to say that if someone pays for you and stayed around, they're insincere!

What makes ichang and Jimmy videos different from others, aside from their kindness, appreciation and consideration for our Malaysian cultures, that they researched each food and state reasonably well before they feast. It's not merely a channel for eating and cooking. Their commentaries while savouring each dishes is something that I always looking forward to..like what elements of the food they can taste (eg galangal, nuts, ginger etc), or nasi ambeng has no prominent flavour profile. While some of Jimmy's comments made me laugh, mostly I learned something everytime I watch their video. My father's from Johor but I never knew about the culture of eating laksa Johor by hand. Many thanks ichang and Jimmy 👍👍

Hi Ichang, Nasi Ambang/Ambeng is from Malay Javanese and the menu consists of :- 1. Nasi Putih 2. Ayam masak ungkep atau kicap berempah 3. Sambal goreng jawa 4. Serunding kelapa 5. Ikan masin bulu ayam goreng (Not Ikan Bilis ye) 6. Mee kuning goreng rencah ikan bilis dan cili kering While for the one that Jimmy eat is called "Paru Goreng Berempah" or "Spicy Fried Lungs(Cow)". I'm from Pasir Gudang, Johor you can try to eat at Rahmat Siakap Goreng at Kg Pasir Putih very nice place its nearby the sea.. Tqvm for promoting Johorean favorite place, all the foods are very tempting, remind us to revisit all this places again...

So proud of you guys eating Laksa johor with your hands, not a lot of people do but that's the traditional way of eating it. I still do it,but only if the gravy is thick and not watery. Glad you are enjoying Johorean food. Also in case no one has said it yet, the fried 'tempe' that Jimmy ate is actually cow's lungs. It's typically boiled first, then sliced thinly and deep fried with the rempahs.

I eat noodle with hands before when there's no utensils. but the reason some people eat that laksa with hand because it wasn't very hot and the gravy was thick. Imagine you eat a hot bowl of Penang Laksa with hand. You hurt yourself more than you enjoy eat it 🤣

That is what we called 'the sincerest way of belanja'. Belanja and go without telling the person they belanja. Because they dont want any praise from the person they belanja. Because they know God are watching their kindness. They belanja and they forget bout it.

Dear ichang and Jimmy, thank you again for your videos. Seriously, i never get bored watching them. 😊 Here's my feedback.. 10:12 i think it's not ikan bilis. It is ikan masin (salted fish) 14:01 actually we have different types of curry. Fish curry, chicken curry, beef curry, mutton curry..all are different taste and thickness. Curry for rice is different from curry for bread / roti jala / lempeng, also different for noodles.
