Imo it's refreshing to see someone not hate The Chameleon to oblivion. Yes, she could've been better, but she's not the worst thing in existence like how people say she is.

Yeah. Chameleon is the worst Kung Fu Panda villain but she’s not a bad villain, just mediocre and felt like missed potential

What’s nuts is when I looked on Google for kung fu panda villains The Chameleon wasn’t even The first thing that popped up, obviously got the main three villains from the trilogy but one of the first that popped up after Tai lung Kai and Lord shen was Evil Po 💀

If it were up to me for Kung Fu Panda 4, Oogway found Tai Lung in the spirit realm and knowing that all he wanted to do was make Shifu proud he decided to teach him inner peace, though reluctant at first, Tai Lung accepts it and during this process, Tai Lung realizes that he was never meant to be the dragon warrior and that Oogway made the right choice within Po, and after being given a second chance at life Tai Lung heads to the valley of peace to make him proud, though not trusting at first, Tai Lung eventually proves his trust by saving Shifu from Lord Shen and General Kai and earing his respect, after the Chameleon's defeat, Po asks Tai Lung if he wants to be the Dragon Warrior, how says no while also saying that he'll forge his own path as the master of the new Furious Fives proteges, that being Lei Lei (taking Tigress place), a Frog named Croakie (taking Monkey's place), a blind elephant named Tramplus (taking Viper's place), a Hummingbird named Flutter (taking Cranes place), a Spider named Wall-Crawler (taking Mantis' place), and Zhen (how will take Po's place and will not be related to Chameleon, Shifu understands this, and though he isn't the dragon warrior, Shifu tells Tai Lung that he is very proud of Tai Lung, how hugs Shifu, of which the red panda accepts, finally having his inner peace

@@davidbrennan3967 They basically help Po and Shifu (he has beef with the Chameleon cause of how mean she was) to stop the Chameleon, her plot of ruling Juniper City isn’t actually her plan when in actuality her plan is to defeat Po and pretend to be him in the Valley of Peace as the Dragon Warrior

I fully agree with your placement of Shen and Tai Lung, W video bro. I would add that Shen went through the 5 stages of Grief, though.

I have not watched the fourth movie, but the fourth movie can't be that bad. People seem to overeact all the time, and I would like to give kung fu panda 4 a shot.

I've seen the 4th film and I had blast, so I say go for it. Admittedly I do agree it does have it's flaws, but that certainly doesn't diminish my enjoyment. Overall I say it's up to you decide by seeing it for yourself, so yeah give it a shot.

Not only is your video well constructed, I appreciate that you were able to give credit all four villains for what challenge they gave to Po. Most people just praise the first three villains and bash Chameleon

Truly, the Chamaeleon is the best from KFP4. That isn't a big feat She is decent, but nowhere near Tai Lung nor Lord Shen. I can enjoy her on screen tho After all... Lord Shen is a PEAKcock

All the Kung Fu Panda villains are great, including the Chameleon. She does not deserve all the hate that she gets. It's not that her story doesn't work, it does, it's just underdeveloped, a fatal mistake on director Mike Mitchell's part. Shen will forever be the best villain in the series

@subhasishghosh6924 Why not? Po was initially ridiculed because of his size. The Chameleon can relate with that. The only difference is that Po never gave up on his passion, while the Chameleon let rejection turn to hatred

@@Alex-ng6hc Half the masters we see in the series are in the same ballpark of stature as Chameleon, Mantis is literally a quarter of her size and contradicts any of the motivations Chameleon has. Plus Po wasn't shunned because he is large and flabby but because he was chosen the Dragon Warrior over five masters with decades of experience, Shifu was intentionally being prejudiced against him so that he could get rid of him and get OOgway to choose someone else. I can guarantee you if Po came as some exchange student to learn kung fu, Shifu wouldn't have been half as cruel as he was Chameleon's backstory, motivations are an absolute insult to KFP's standards when it comes to villains.

@subhasishghosh6924 It's true that there were some characters who were comparable in size, or even smaller than the Chameleon. Perhaps she grew up at a time when kung fu masters were racially biased and not as accepting as the Jade Palace, something similar to Zootropolis. China is the fourth largest country in the world, who's to say that everyone in this fictionalised version is as open-minded as Oogway and Shifu. Hell, Shifu initially thought Crane was too skinny to learn kung fu. He's the third strongest member of the Furious Five. It would've been better if her origin story was properly explored like the others. Also, she was supposed to be more of a brains than braun villain, just like Shen

Kung Fu Panda ended with 3 and 4 is just another retcon that overstay it's welcome. The first 3 has motives, Tai Lung's wounded Pride and rejection from his own Master and Father, Lord Shen's fragile Pride and fear of the Prophecy and Kai's salvaged Pride and his Wrath against those who stopping him in his warpath. All of them has similar motives connected with Pride, as Pride to become The Dragon Warrior, Pride to become The Ruler and Pride to become The Strongest. All three of them faced and being defeated by the same foe, Po, but only because they embraced those pride and not to let got those pride.

The chameleon and po also apply to this line , One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it , po never expected to learn kung fu and be a warrior but he was chosen by oogway and became the dragon warrior , while the chameleon is the exact opposite she always wanted to learn kung fu, and be a warrior but was rejected causing her to turn to socery and become a villian so she can prove the world wrong.

The chameleon yes is a small animal but no one trusted her spirit,her desire to fight for the innocence,so instead of changing her spirit with the help of a master she changed her body

The hole concept of the camilian can be change. She got the power to change forms and she use that ability to infiltrate any place or at least, be able to y ricky others. Is true she did that but only 2 times. The story could be change completly, maybe make the camilian infiltrate in the main cast. They know one of the is not what it's look like, we as audiencia we didn't have to know as well until the firt part of the story ended. The purpuse of been small can be change, she could be regect by all the kong fuu masters like in the movie but she could show them like sheng that strenght is not everything. She can have the same objective of the original product but with a change. She wants not only to learn kung fuu, but in a mission where the cast is separate and she try tu ambush the other. Not to still thier Chi, to test her self. If every kung fuu regects her then she can take revenge against all of them by killing thier greatest exponent of the time, the dragon warrior. This is only an example she can be have an a internal comflict with the character of mantis, serpent, and shi fuu. This cuold be becuase everybody didn't think she could be something but this man was not only cappable to train someone even smaller than her and at the same time, someone whiout ani limbs or at least poison. Develope that and make some kind of plot twist where the camilian has to decided betewen to stock with her plan or change/ or that she envys them for having everything that she ever wanted and they didn't have to look for it, thier destiny was the one that made them kung fuu masters and not her. Something that reactivate the flames of hate showing that the only character with power to change even when it show with an opportiunity of change it can't do it. Be free to say that my idea is the greatest grabege, i understand Or at least do it in another way than the thing we recive

Nice high quality content bro, just make it more interesting for the average gooner/coomer ifyk like most people dont want to know why they are evil, you could do more videos on their backstories and lore or more stuff thats relevant to the average person.

What makes Tai Lung stand out to me is that, while the other villains FEEL wronged Tai Lung actually WAS wronged. Shifu did him dirty 100% whcih makes him all the more compelling because you kind of root for him. It was objectively right for Shen's parents to be mortified by his genocide and for Oogway to have imprisoned Kai. Tai Lung just wanted what was promised to him, Shifu even named him Great Dragon for god's sake. I think this is where they failed with the Chameleon. She said she was discriminated because of her size but it held no weight because we never actually saw any of that or saw how that hurt her. We didnt see her vulnerable. We didnt see who exacty excluded her and how. We didnt get to assess how she was wronged so we have to take her word for it and shes inherently an unreliable narrator. So we're left with a villain with no weight.

Tai lung doesnt feel evil nor is he really he is just extremely misunderstud

maybe the next big bad could be an assassin wronged by Pandas dearly, truly hurt by pain and hatred yet powered by complete rejection of the world and pushed further by the attempt to maintain such a world view that's luring the world or/and poe to the path of ruin intentionally and especially unintentional in a way that still drives a cycle of pain forwards[ like in Naruto]. If ya really wanna stretch it could be that what poe's becoming is misused by same evil panda organisation, like the Rooters from Ben10 Omniverse, and backed by this new big bad who is increasing confronted, directly and indirectly, by joining something they had told themselves that they'd destroy. there could be at times a suffocating sense of stagnation and "comfort" that could be induced in poe like Robin and Slade. this film could therefore focus the assembly of one legacy :D [well what do you people think? :3]

That's the thing it is characters who did who are definite the importance of the story a villain is right as important as hero

Honestly, altho I agree with the majority the KFP 4 wasn't.... the best. Why are people saying that Dreamworks is 'doomed' or that movies like Spiderverse 2 and Puss and Boots last wish were 'anomalies'. Many studios will have good and bad movies. Dreamworks isn't going down hill just cause they made one bad movie, y'all really overreacting
