Why kids are driving gang violence in

Can you imagine a 12-year-old kid getting roped into a violent gang while heading home from school or hanging out at a shopping centre?
That’s really what’s happening in Sweden, where gang crime is out of control. That’s why Sweden now has the worst gun murder death rate in the entire EU - and the ones holding the weapons are often teenagers.
In this new episode of “Done Differently”, we investigate why gangs target children as young as 9 and what methods they use to lure them in and trap them into a cycle of violence. We want to know: do underage criminals need punishment - or just help? Join the conversation in the comments.
In our series of explanations "Done Differently" we take a look at how current topics that move you are discussed elsewhere. We welcome feedback below the video. If you liked it, give us a Like and subscribe.
