    Official data slate is now out! How do you feel about these boys at 120? They are now 20 points more than a full unit of scions with the new buff?

    Dead. The Kasrkin are dead at 120. Scions at 100 are way stronger now. “Fun” note: Kasrkin are now only 2 ppm cheaper than a Tactical Marine.

    As someone who plays 30 of them yes it's a great unit. They tend to lurk and counter strike units with volleys of plasma and hotshots. That and they'd have to chew through 80 Kriegers before they get to them.

    Eh, I find 3 man sentinel squads funnier to do this with, given the fact that you have a 21 wound group of walkers just delete enemy vehicles with lascannons and hunter-killer missiles :) And then you bring them back to do the same all over again!

    I tried this a lot, but it is so copium. In most cases enemy can just ignore them after they shot they HKM's and kill 1 or 2, but not whole squad. And then you locked to very awkard spot - holding 2 cp every phase, so you can res them, but enemy that ignores them will just charge it with anything and lock it for the rest of the game.

    ​@@sirdragdord701I experienced this as well. Smart players will do the same to infantry and leave 1-2 models but at least you can suicide charge them to force the res. Have you tried Rough Riders? I think people are sleeping on them a bit. Reinforce+Rapid Ingress with them seems solid. Particularly now that you can drop Gaunt's Ghosts in for Fix Bayonets to hit on 2's.

    The OC is too low and they can't walk through walls, fun with low terrain though.

    The most nasty move I've heard of for the Melta Mine is waiting until the start of your opponents move phase. One story I heard of, they detonated the 2d3 mortal wounds on a wounded transport, killing the transport, causing the unit inside to disembark. This pins them in place because when they are forcefully disembarked, they count as having moved.

    Kasrkin are amazingly self sufficient and do not need orders from an officer. Furthermore they are points efficient...I'm prepared for a points bump. Atm 300 points well spent though

    They look more elite than Space Marines hahaha. Anyway they are really great, I think it feels properly lore-wise. Btw, what do you have in that left corner with Norn in the back? I see some Tyrant Guards but I can't recognize other things and it kinda bugs me since I'm Nid player.

    Could always pack straken into their transport then issue orders to 2 units of kasrkin when he gets out.. but hey no leaders with scout right. Yes he cant join them but he has scout and issue 2 orders

    what is funny is FLG says you cannot stack the same order twice, so uh any event in North America following FLG FAQs, you can't stack orders.

    @@johnnyohm4579 personally i wouldnt have the energy to push the issue anyways but supposedly there is an argument to be had that did let some of the brits use such a thing in some of their tourneys. But ya again it seems like it would be tedious trying to make the argument every time lol
