Why Jeep built a car that CAN'T off-road...
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
A teeny tiny jeep designed for the city?! 😱
The Jeep Avenger is unlike any other Jeep. It’s small, compact, and quiet! It’s designed in Europe FOR Europe. They’ve recognised that we need a nimble car that can cut around tight corners, rather than a gigantic SUV that has the ability to climb mountains…
Join Tish as she heads to the countryside and gives an honest review of the all new Jeep Avenger.

A much improved Jeep vehicle. Regular Jeeps underdeliver for their overprice: they’re known for breaking down and pricey repairs. This vehicle appears to be a good deal. Well done, European designers! 😄

Their not ACTUALLY known for breaking down , their FALSELY known for that.
It's a really stylish beautiful small car.
Great Review!! :)
Another interesting review 👍
I’ve owned two jeeps for work I used to do where some 4wd was handy. 1989 XJ 2-door. 1997 XJ 2-door. Loved those rigs ❤
I think it looks great and is very well designed wuth nice touches. Next up on that platform is the Fiat 600e wich is really cute and has a great dash and interior both classy and stylish. Ih and ye Jeep Avenger does not share a platform with the Nissan Juke.
How did they manage to build an EV platform car with no space inside!?
For a honest review watch Matt Watsons carwow review ... oh wait you can't cause it was mysteriously taken down a mere few hours after it went live. I saw it though it wasn't glowing. Tell me, is this press review car doing the rounds the same as carwows a few weeks back? ... the one that broke down 4 times with brake/electrical issues? Each time matt had to sit outside the car for 5-20 minutes by the roadside till the car reset itself before he could drive it again. Having bought a brand new picasso (car of the year winner same as this) in 2015, and having nothing but issues with it for 7 years straight ... usually electrical/engine with no customer support whatsoever I wouldn't trust any stellantis junk cars. You have been warned...
Why you don’t build a RangeRover that doesn’t breakdown all the time ?
Hmm, I don't think it shares the Juke's platform?
At that price, they should have done more
John North Willys was descended from Welsh immigrants. The company he founded designed a certain vehicle which acquired the name Jeep. "Jeep Willie" is that 26 year old guy my older sister dated in high school.
Good review. Price again too high.
The answer is that because it sells in Europe. The Avenger is not meant for the home market, it's just a pretty average Stellantis product for the Euro market. An affordable tiny little car for a market that loves affordable tiny little cars. They are basically trying to give the customer what they want. I'd rather see a Jimny like small off road capable Jeep. But that isn't the modern Jeep way. Sadly!
Jeans 👖 and jeeps 🚙..well worth getting into!❤😏
Is this the same demo car that broke down 4 times when being reviewed by Carwow? Though they seem to have removed the video or at least I cannot find it
Much better looking than the original Avenger (small mid-sized sedan that Chrysler did here in America back in the '90s under the Dodge moniker), but alas won't get here, as it's likely to be designated strictly for your market in Europe, Tish. If Stellantis used their heads (ha, ha!), it would be made available to the North American market, as this would be a game-changer - and a much better "city vehicle" - than the Compass or Renegade, which has a reputation for drivetrain issues (among other things). Finally, absolutely love your outfit Tish, though I was hoping to see you actually sit in that second row to get a visual on how tight it is (instead of just your verbal description - though I absolutely love your voice!). Well done, my beautiful friend! ❤

The original Avenger was an early 70s mid sized 4 door saloon (sedan) made by Hillman in the UK. It was sold stateside as the Plymouth Cricket for a year or so too.
3:24 ironic, these fuel cans were a German invention lol
Other brands have different models for different uses.. this isn't for off-roading
Won't touch a Jeep, though I liked my Wagoneer (from a long time ago). It's the fundamentals I'd be worried about, not the cute little details, and the sick corporate culture behind it.
Those easter eggs are there so you have something to look at/for while it's broken down. It's also apparently easier to focus your effort on them instead of making the vehicle more reliable and handle better. I've owned four Jeeps and still own a 1977 Wagoneer and 1955 Studebaker that uses the chassis from a 1983 Wagoneer. My dad has a 2011 Grand Cherokee that seems to have a recall every other year. The body shell of my 2001 Cherokee was weak enough that the hatch would either not open or close if the body was in a slight twist.
Is my hearing deceiving me? I’m sure you kept referring to the Jeep Willy? Time plays tricks on the memory, but I thought it was the Willis Jeep - hey ho!
tiSh shouldn't put words like that in her thumbnail. It just invites scathing remarks.
£36000 Stellantis parts bin, they've got to be joking.
Put it up against the Volvo EX30.
Easter eggs 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦
Big cars SUV looks funny in tiny UK roads. SUV and trucks better suited in USA, bigger and better economy.
2'20'' to 3'55'': Why spend so much time pointing out these 'hidden features', which are purely cosmetic items and completely irrelevant to the practicality and usability of the car? That is not why potential customers might be interested in the Avenger....
From Murca, just don't care....
😊 badge engineering.. 😊 always fools people.. at least it's all electric and why isn't there a frunk? big bonnet no Frank mmm
There is a reason Jeep doesn't sell that garbage in the US. There's no way any American would buy one and neither should anyone else.
All I know is that this car was voted as Car of the Year 2023 at the beginning of 2023 by auto journalists even though they didn't even drive it. Moreover, Mat Watson's recent review of this car when the car broke down 4 times mysteriously disappeared from CarWow's KZread channel. Stellantis's PR team is working extra hard to suppress any negative review this car.
Seems real nice but it ain’t a jeep
Who in their right mind buys a jeep
Current jeeps are all unreliable junk, I doubt this will be different. All marketing style over substance.
This is the state of car market today: it's a Jeep and nobody seems to care what kind of drive it has. Oh but easter eggs...
Because it’s a Fiat, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Get over it
