*I was in the studio audience for this episode and seeing/hearing James so serious was a change of pace from his normal lighthearted and bouncing energy that he portrays on his show. He had me laughing, crying, and thinking. The two spoke for a long time - maybe 30 minutes - and the studio was silent. I got to see a different side of him and it was really refreshing. It seems like he's doing what's right for his family.*

Not sure what your intent was but didn't want it to seem like I was coming at you for no reason. To me it read like I was being called rude for stating my opinion I said absolutely NOTHING rude. I said that it was refreshing to get to see another side of him. Perhaps you're the one who could use a lesson in what is rude. To comment negativity on something meant to inform is unnecessary.

I've never had a similar conversation with either of my parents, not even remotely close. Once I remember my dad and my mom saying they did the best they could when made a medical decision which would traumatise me for my whole life, losing trust in the world in general, scarring me with life long anxiety and feelings of insecurity- that was all they did when I challenged them about that decision, which got me into.a horrible institution in my early childhood. Never told me they loved me. I had to figure it out for myself against all odds. I'm blown away by James's wisdom and good parenting. I just wish every parent was educated before having a child.

It's right that men grind everyday at their work to take care of their families. But it's just as important for fathers to put in that quality time with their families, too, otherwise, they later on regret the loss that comes with not spending time in nurturing those family moments and traditions that they and their kids will reminisce about years later. Fortunately, James had his epiphany early enough for him to build and solidify those memories for him and his family before his kids become teens and start looking for other meaningful relationships outside of the home. Good for him.

I was sorry to see Craig go, and now sorry to see Cordon go. James was one of the funniest late nights hosts. Such a great show! I hope he enjoys his well-deserved break. 😎

I was happy to see this as Drew and James both always make me smile, give me something to think about or both. By the way, I don’t think that anyone - especially people in positions of celebrity or limelight, should have to sacrifice their family life for their career or job success. We should all be able to have both. My hope in future is that we can find more and more successful empowering ways to do that. 😊

Wow what a great man. He has brought so much joy to all of our homes for many years and he will never be forgotten or replaced. James Corden is truly (in my opinion) the most funny, entertaining, joyful, nice talk show hosts of all time. There's never been a host like him that goes above and beyond for comedy, who is so creative and talented. He will be missed. I hope he has a great life in London and he gets to relax and enjoy life now.
