I've always sort of flip-flopped about getting a Phoibos yet never pulled the trigger. In Titanium, with all of the other specs, 9xxx series movement and seems to be built like a tank at what I am sure will be a price that what more could you really want/need. As gimmicky as the little rocket hour hand is, it actually makes me smile. I think once this becomes available I will be finally be pulling the trigger on my first Phoibos. excellent review this is a spec monster and really tempting to buy as I haven't owned a phoibos yet.

I just picked up this watch!!! Can't wait to get it! I'm not usually into Phoibos watches...usually find them to outrageous but this I really like! In fact I liked the previous version of this watch but those were sold out by now and discontinued. I got this watch with 40 percent off so it came to 350 bucks! I think that's a good price! I owned a titanium watch years ago and loved it! This should be even better!!! Thanks for vid and you made me a subscriber!

Thanks Dan. So cool. lightweight. Hi Beat. Smallish. Everything i am moving towards after a couple of years following watches.

I got my white face version a couple of weeks ago, and I absolutely love it, Probably the only thing I would change, and this is for the white dial only, is the faux patina lume. I would like to see is a brighter white since the indices have black borders and visibility isn't a problem. I dig your channel.

I've not seen a phoibos I've liked in a while but this has changed that for me, it's awesome. It's a phoibos through and through and it's all the better for it. And then the movement tops it off.

Beauty of a watch! I have the white dial in and I've got to say, I've fallen in love with it!

very good review. It looks like a very good watch with the right specs. I wonder what do you think about the price of $625 for retail. Is it a little bit too high?

I love the rocket hour hand but the minute hand is a bit chunky for me.

Great review with good close up photography 👍 . I really like the dial texture and indices and hour hand, but as you say, not too sure about that minute hand!

The minute hand is reminisit of the LEM - Lunar Module with a retro rocket fired for landing. Now I need to get one..

Deffo would be this colourway I would look to buy. like the granulated dial look.

Only the Chinese can make a titanium watch of that quality for that price. If it was Swiss made, it would be 3 times the price. Awesome watch & great review!

What, even better than the burgundy Voyager you reviewed? I have that watch and it is fantastic. Really tempted by the red carbon dial (lava flow). Released on Monday 1st August apparently.

I agree, this is one of the better Phoibos watches and certain an improvement over the last version of the Apollo. Bit firstly the handset strikes me as as little weird and the second big negative to me is the massive non-tapering bracelet. The light titanium watch head doesn't need a massive bracelet to balance it out. So for me there is still room for improvement on this watch.

A few more subtle tweaks and I think it will still have the Phoibos design language, but a little more refined. The build quality and spec is there though!

Its almost great for me - but I cant get over the handset. I'm all for being different, but theyre a little too Phoibos for me! Id love a fixed bezel 38-39mm sports watch with a Phoibos twist (just not too much lol) - nice and thin with a 9 series movement Thanks for sharing your thoughts

Very nice review, and i liked the watch 👍🏻, i have a Phoibos Reefmaster that case is one of the best they have done 👌..BUT they have to change the logo, my good, looks like a childs drawing 🫣.. but they make som fantastic watches and quality that puts many big brands in the corner.. cheers 🙌

Not a bad looking watch Dan, I like some of the details but not enthusiastic over the complete package. I much prefer my big, butch, no date Wave Master and compared to some of my lighter watches, wearing the Phoibos has heft and oozes quality.

Hope you are not suffering too much from The heat. We are used to it but with almost universal air conditioning. Are you as tired of dive watches as I am?

Have you had any experience with the rotary aquaspeed gs03023/04 it's on offer at Argos at the moment. Might dip my toe in and make a purchase. although citizen might be a better option at the same price point at £160...

Cool looking piece , except for the TOTALLY HIDEOUS, WEIRD handset. Often Phoibus get most elements of a watch right, then they absolutely kill it with something completely BIZARRE. Some of their pieces are brilliant, most are not. I have three, so am a fan of the brand...generally. It won't be long until another offering comes along, so I can afford to wait. This Apollo is a BIG MISS for me.

The hands are a shame for sure. The hour hand could be a long rocket instead of this weird giant shovel or mushroom 🍄

...the case style is nice... the dial and the hands? Pfffff no.... too ugly - sorry ;-)
