Undone watches are a waste of money. I have bought three, on the quartz watches once the battery runs out you can't open the case back. They say you can, but I've got the gear and experience, and I can't open it. Brought it to three watch shops and they can't open it. Contacted undone they won't respond. There are much better microbrands to buy from, that support their customers.

Great review. I prefer the sand blasted effect for a field watch as normal polished watches, with the glare of the sun, dazzles your eye.
I have a grand diver brand new I got it for 115 dollars but the price tag is 700 something dollars why is that? It says the price on the Invicta tag. Don’t know much about watches or prices
@@ferfhartle1660 grossly inflated RRP to make "discount" look far more impressive. It's part of the reason Invicta have a bit of a reputation.

I'd have a problem telling all my friends (Steve), that my Escapement Time GS Homage, that i raved on about probably far too much, is only worth 25% of the whole package compared to the plastic strap worth 75%🤣❤

Hey, you should look up the Seiko 5 snk381, that is a proper homage of the MACVSOG, and from the same brand, for less money. I bought it and have installed a Sapphire crystal, changed one of the day/date wheels to have the black & white effect, and Iam just shy of changing the movement for the NH36. I'm glad i bought a Seiko snk381k1 several weeks ago before Jomashop sold out. It was $115 after tax. Ill have to get it regulated someday it runs -20 spd face up over night. Might change the glass to single domed sapphire later. Amazing lume for a field watch. I kept it on the original bracelet to lessen the look of the short lug to lug on my 7.5 inch wrist.

The whole brand and their marketing is utterly cringe. Who is buying that stuff? Probably those stolen valor guys who are really into model trains or something. Good grief, they're selling WW2 themed watches with lots of USA rah-rah and Japanese movements. "Rec spec"... ROFLMAO.
Basically you just want a bigger watch. You can find big pilots everywhere. Baltany and San martin there is an obvious pattern, they just make smaller watches in general.
No not for me too small mineral crystal, 50m WR, better spec out there for that money.
This was your dirtiest review... Id rather it too long thsn not long enough (thats what she said) and you wind it up by rubbing it from behind! Bad boy! Also, I like this watch. It's got a great vintage look and an unusual date complication color scheme. Plus made in the good ol' US of A for all the Ali haters. Thats why its $300.
The historical links are in some ways more interesting than the reproduction watch itself.
You do know that there is a tool for hand winding mechanical watches I bought one years back for winding my 64967 mechanical watches they really help preventing damage to the stem and over winding pretty sure you can snag them on Ali Anyways enough pissin in your ear my friend always appreciate and enjoy your content Keep em coming and Be well 👍

I've swapped the crystals on a couple of favourite watches as they are far clearer and I don't like the milky ring sapphire gives. This is a great watch. Is it me or is that a Patek travel watch vibe?
You can still buy the Seiko SNK381 for about 120 pounds . This looks much more like one of the original Vietnam watches for half the price of the Praesidus.
I agree, it looks extremely similar, but the differences are enough to lose the charm IMO. I like the very domed/top hat crystal, panda day/date wheel ,textured dial etc, that's worth the extra. USA assembled does make it cost more, another nice little detail considering it's homaging a watch with American spy history.
I think it’s pretty cool. A watch can’t just be judged on just specs sometimes. But yeah, like you said, just changing the crystal would have gone a long way. Thanks for the great review!
Is it just me?, I was waiting for the record mode or spy camera, damn,..I really like the look of this but I wont do clip on case backs or mineral no ways sorry and that crown is pants, sorry no disrespect meant, just cant.
No disrespect! All points I agree with, but can look past considering the charm these bring. Vintage vibes, always some dodgy compromises!
It's a braw watch, at 300 it's heart over head....if however they went with 100m that would make it a different proposition altogether....K1 v Sapphire, well folks are always going to want S however as collectors we've all got that wee tube of poly watch....plus we need to consider the market, I'd imagine the majority of these will be bought by collectors who have a rotation thereby further minimizing the need for S crystal....I wear what makes me smile when I check my watch box in the morning and unless I know I need a G I do not match my watch to the occasion therefore 100m is more important....🏴⌚🏴⌚
$300 for mineral glass and minimal water resistance? No thanks.

Enjoyed your review! Momentum have been on my radar for a few months. I run a fair amount and thought a GPS watch was required. Soon after being overwhelmed by metrics and nonsense I took it back. A local shop in Vancouver sells 2 models the Atlas Eclipse 38mm and the Wayfinder GMT. Both looked fantastic however, the Atlas Eclipse won me over due to the solar power. This is a definite set and forget watch. But you won't forget how good it looks on your wrist. Side note: I still like Marathon watches (another Canadian company) but their prices are increasing by the year it seems. Their Officer GPQ and M are very nice but lacking solar and over double the price of the Atlas Eclipse. Momentum on the other hand is far more reasonable.
I really love your humour. A different take to watch reviews. I just ordered the titanium version of this field watch (and some MN straps to go with it). Looking forward to lay my hands on it.
Swiss watches often have cases made in China anyways, so it's no wonder lol

the reason i got this instead of a more well known one from Casio, was because this one comes in gold plating, and i like my accessories to have gold accents instead of silver

Its weird that there is two different versions of this watch with 200m and 200m water resistant, the 300m being a bit thicker

My ultimate favorite watch and brand! I have the black version since a half year, it works well. They Miyota 8215 works not bad👌🏻 and for the cheap price is that watch a top diver
I got Polar Lights and Mission to Jupiter. I love them. They have become my everyday watches; up till now it was the Submariner.
Just got one 120$ pre owned fantastic best part if it dies for 30$ you can swap out the movement no need for a 200& service

People are vastly overthinking the MoonSwatch. They're collectible, affordable and FUN! My favorite thing about my watch obsession is sharing it with my sons. My late father's Datejust is my go to for life events. Hopefully my sons will feel a connection as well. People always ask me why I collect. This is why!
