Why is sin bad? Based on my many mistakes as a sinner

Фильм және анимация

Based on my many mistakes as a sinner I finally learned, Why sin is bad? It's really all about love. This isn't about heaven or hell, or making any judgments, it’s about what does sin have to do with me and My life right now, and why should I care! And btw, we're all sinners. 🙏

This video is profound! There is a sin I have had to deal with all of my life. Fifty-one years ago in a sincere conversion experience I became a Christian. I thought dropping the sin would be easy but here I am still struggling with it and every time it happens I feel like whale shit and deeply ashamed before God. I am committing to watching this every day as often as convenient in the hope that it just might bring enough conviction and realization of how much God does care and give me the victory! Alright, I have some things to say on this, which you can give your thoughts about. People do not simply comply with instructions without adequate explanation or understanding (or coercion) unless they are submissive to authority. In fact, if there are cases where we comply with authority without proper explanation or understanding, then authorities can make us do certain things without any valid reason at all. We also need to be able to tell which acts of protection and love are genuine and beneficial, and which ones are manipulative or harmful. If we knew there was danger on the road, that would give us a personal reason to not go there. Humans may want relationships, but they also want independence. It's part of our nature, and it's good for our mental wellbeing when we have a decent amount of it. It's our duty to foster each other so that we can be more sensible and resilient when we achieve that independence. Also, this view is arguing for consequentialism as the basis of sin, rather than moral realism, which is what religious people with moral doctrines usually argue for, and it's antithetical to consequentialism. If moral realism was real, specific morals would hold regardless of the consequences they would have, and God would know it. But the reason we do anything in the first place is because of our understanding of the consequences. Morals are meant to guide us to help make the consequences better for everyone in a social ecosystem. And I noticed that a lot of people do and support things because they're good...but then they forget, and they end up eventually just doing and supporting them because they're them. They've been normalised, and because people forget the underlying justifications, people just go around doing that, even after they become in fact unjust for the reasons they started it. As for morals, I think that a much better moral framework would involve a well-ordered list of fundamental values to adhere to, such as wellbeing, contentment, diversity, prosperity, integrity, fairness, creativity and entertainment, rather than lists of specific actions that are "moral" or "immoral". Particular actions usually have different merits depending on the circumstances. A single act can be moral or immoral, depending on the consequences it results in. If the broad negative consequences of a particular act don't persist, there should be no reason for it to be immoral anymore. If God's doing all these things because He wants to protect us from the consequences, then we can tell that there's underlying values and rationale for the things He commands. But things like, say, the Ten Commandments, seem to lose their reasoning and become simulacra unto themselves. For example: let's suppose the list is well-ordered. If you have abusive parents that indoctrinate, command and coerce you to violate most of the commandments, do you let yourself have other gods before the Christian one? No, because that rule supersedes the parental honour one. However, if they asked you to murder, commit adultery, steal, bear false witness or covet, then their rule would supersede all of those ones, and all of those things would become moral to do simply because you're serving your abusive parents while following the list of ten commandments. You probably wouldn't believe that, which just shows my point about it. If that sort of consequentialism is your basis about what the nature of sin is, that's good. Help everyone make everything better for each other. I'm just asking about it, since religious doctrine involving forces of pure goodness (like the commandments) usually doesn't seem to consider that, from what I've seen.

Hello there, nobody may comment to this what I write but, does not matter. This video came to me by algorithm, and that Is because I watch a lot of religion related things and searching for advice and whatnot when I need It. Then this video came up, a short but brutally truthful explanation of what Is destroying us and others around us. Each time I sinned, I felt great pain, guilt, sorrow and regret. I beg for forgiveness and promise I will not do It again. But I did It again, and again. But I realized I was gaining more knowledge each time I failed to hold myself away from the sin, and thus, each time I failed, I gained new solution to the sin. And I believe that I gained so much so enough knowledge, lot more coming to know, to know what to do and what to prevent If sin tries to attack me. I love the Lord with my whole heart, He gave me a whole new meaning to life and His restrictions, In other words, commandements, are just and rightful. They restrict us away from the potential danger, sin. And Indeed, we must follow His word, as from an overprotective father. Because when we sin and go past the line of restraint, we will feel what I felt; sorrow, guilt, regret and pain. Have a realization, a change of mind If you do not feel like yourself after reading this, ask yourself "Am I who I really want to be?" because, when I did that, I realized I did so much wrong. But then I found myself again, along with the Lord to help me, and He Is leading me on a better path, He protects me greatly and out of His pure will. Do not let His mercy go to waste, embrace It, and pay Him back with your own love, and obedience to Him, as your holy father. Remember; give thanks to the Lord, for He Is good - For His mercy endures forever. Thank you for reading this, God be with you.

This video made me realize how I've just flat out ignored God's love for me by sinning. I sinned and did very wicked things recently and after watching this video I feel shame and sadness over it. I need to be better and more loving towards God and not ignore what he knows is right. Forgive me father for I do not know what I do at times. Forgive me for my unbelief and forgive me for my wicked actions. I pray for repentance and that sinners like me that look for guidance towards you may receive your blessings once more. Amen.

This is the way catholicism should be taught, at least in part. I spent my first few years of school in Italy, where religion is a very prominent part of society and the primary school syllabus. However, the way it's taught through extracts from the Bible and history just isn't enough. Your videos make me care. Everything makes so much sense now.

My Father on Earth & in Heaven, I apologize and repent for my sins… I’m sorry for the devastation I have caused. For my mistakes, I understand that I should be punished & im so very sorry. I hope that I can redeem not only myself but my loved ones. Lord, guide me so I may somehow rectify at least a few of my sins. Guide me so that I can make the changes that are needed to glorify you. I know things won’t change immediately, but PLEASE 🙏🏽 I don’t want those around me to suffer because of ME. Please Please help me Lord. I’m so sorry for hurting my grandfather’s heart. Please give me the love I desire, so that can AGAIN share it with more LOVE in my own heart. Thank you Lord.

This is probably the best explanation of Sin I've ever seen. So often growing up it was just yelled at me, the focus entirely on "burning in hell". To unpack it from a caring p.o.v, as if we look at it from God's perspective, it makes so much more sense. He is your father and he loves you.

“Sin is it’s own punishment” hit HARD. I’ve experienced this first hand for almost an entire year and a truer statement could not be said about the nature of sin.

Trouble is, the penalty for sin is...death. God can't just "forgive" sin. Sin has to meet Gods justice. And to arrive at that justice, the sinner must die. That's where Jesus comes in! Jesus left heaven to become our kinsman redeemer. Jesus was sinless and perfect, so He could and did, have the purchase price for our sins! Please check out the Bible teaching you tube channel...faith cometh by hearing...and watch the series titled, "change of mind" & "table of the Lord". Afterwards you will understand the matter.

I see how much doing things my way hurts myself and those around me, but God's way of doing things leads to better things than you could ever ask, imagine, or obtain on your own. You just can't keep filling that void in your heart with more pleasures and what is pleasing in your own eye, it will never satisfy. You will be chasing the next fix your whole life. Jesus loves you all, seek a relationship with God through His Word to find true fulfillment. God wants you home ❤
