Nice video. I never played Minecraft until 2019 but there is definitely something special about _starting_ to play Minecraft. Before you reach the point where you're checking the wiki for precise explanations and statistics and limitations, it's a world where anything could be possible, but you don't really know what is and what isn't. I had played for about 3 months and built a castle, a few shacks, a sheep farm, and a tall glass statue that I was quite impressed with. Got worn out by all the baddies at night so switched to Peaceful. Then I went on an expedition across some snowy mountaintops and eventually saw, in the distance, something human-shaped, walking around. I was absolutely shocked. Another person? In my private universe? And this was only compounded when I chased him to discover an entire village. I had played so long, gotten a feel for the game, was living out a happy little existence, but I had nowhere near scratched the surface of what was there. Nowadays for me villagers are entities to be caged, bred, zombified, scared, forced into a trade, and just generally exploited for mechanics. For different purposes I know how many of them you need, how far away they need to be, what state they need to be in, how long it will take, what the percentages are. But back then? They might as well have been real sentient people. They might as well have been herobrine. There's no way to ever go back to that feeling, which is another reason why nostalgia is so bittersweet. Whether it's crunchy textures or it's just the general unknown, early Minecraft will always be a little bit creepy, a little bit scary.

Old Minecraft wasn't as colorful as Modern one... Because right now when u turn on Minecraft and create a new world you immediately get surrounded by so many colors... Cherry trees, flowers, new and vibrant textures and of course the lightning... Even nights are bright now. Old Minecraft was the complete opposite of the new one. Dark nights, dark caves and as you said harsh textures that made this creepy vibe. Good video btw! I enjoyed it while eating dinner!

this video brought back some great memories. the nostalgia of the old Minecraft and how creepy it feels now. it brings back memories of my past playing Minecraft alone at night and wondering if something is really watching me behind all that fog, the render distance was soo small so it also added to the creepiness not to forget the rumors of Herobrine lurking in your world and you would wonder if he is there watching you ready to strike at any time... truly a fascinating video, great insights on the points and i just loved the narrating you did with that sweet voice
