Hey, thanks for the video, my washing machine stopped spinning and I followed the instructions on your video and found my washing machine belt on the floor in one piece and put it back on the machine (the belt had not snapped) . My washing machine is now working. Thank you and happy to recommend

Adjust the belt tension to make sure it stays on.

I just fixed my Indesit non spinning / tumbling drum by clearing a blockage in the big rubber waste pipe below the drum itself, nothing to do with the brushes or belt either, so you might want to add that to the list of possible causes.

Wouldn't have known how to troubleshoot without this video. Just replaced the carbon motor brushes and it spins! So happy to have the washer back in operation. Thanks a bunch!!

Thanks for your video. It is very useful. Could you pls help us with an idea. We have Hoover VHD148A and it stopped spinning. The display is working. When we press “start” water is taking the powder from the dispenser, filling the washing machine and when it is time to spin there is just a click sound and that’s it. We can turn the drum manually, we checked the belt and it is on its place. Thanks a lot

Looked on your site, found new board. I've checked the belt, brushes, all good. Do you think its the board.

..or if it hasn't drained properly it's not going to spin so check the filter/pump outlet right ?

my washing machine doesnt spin because a lace looks to have went out through side hole of the drum, and wrapped around the hinge. Do you have a video/suggestion on how to resolve such a thing please ?

My Indesit Futura HF8B593 drum is not spinning. When I opened the door to check it the drum it appears to be disconnected at the front part nearest to the door. Please, can you help? Thanks.

Hi,hoping somebody can help,i have the indesit widl146,it has stopped working,but the light still works,if i put it on spin or rinse ,the light is on for what the machine should be doing,earlier after being switched off for an hour,it started working again,all good until it got to the rinse stage,it then just stopped,now it just doesn't work,the door lock works,i was about to order carbon brushes,but read the machine would still fill and empty if it was the brushes,thanks

What about snowflake drum wtct802 washing machine that is not spinning and also the belt is in good order and the motor it doesn't use brush but capacitor and all that is workings except to spin???

my machine won't spin and the code E5E is display my machine is Frigidaire affinity what would be the problem?

My Electrolux front load washer is showing an LE59 error code. It won't fill with water or or go through the cycles. I tried running the spin cycle to get rid of any water in it, if at all. But, it won't go into the spin cycle either. Have checked the water inlet valves, hoses, screens, etc. That's all good! When you put it on the wash cycle it sounds like the water wants to come in(humming sound), but doesn't. However, there's water coming out the bottom right side. Not alot, but enough to stand. So, the code is showing to check the drive motor, but, what do I check on it?? HELP, I NEED TO DO LAUNDRY!!!

I had a Hotpoint for 9 years and no problems. I bought a Samsung not even a year old and the drum isn't turning...

The drum on my machine, tries to rotate both ways slightly, rattles and stops. Will still fill and drain as normal but won't start a cycle. Also issue occurred during cycle. Anyway of diagnosing this?

Mine turns with the belt off but soon as i put it back on again its like its jamming & not turning then it cuts out the bushes are ok ive changed the tacho speed sensor but still getting the same problem its a candy washing machine has ive said before it works perfect with the belt off but won't with it on do you reckon it could be the main board e08 it was displaying but the motor looks ok & new tacho speed sensor fitted plus the bushes have loads of life left in them do you have any suggestions please ?

There are quite a few other issues that could prevent spinning you dont mention.

My beco drum will rotate for washing but does not seem to rotate for spinning and clothes are still soaking at end of cycle

I loved the old washers that lasted 20 yrs.tjesr digital washer have a Life time of 6 yrs. All junk made in CHINA, they'd like toys.

In the UK we don’t all have laundry rooms so our machines are usually in the kitchen.

I had an hotpoint for donkeys years and now I've got a Samsung that's only 5 mabe 6 years old and won't spin fills up and empties fast but just won't spin ile never buy another Samsung

Waste of my time..I could have guessed all that myself..
