hi dr please help my dog has swelling on her hand and she stopped eating.I took her to the vet and she was on dns and antibiotic drips.She did vomit a lot on the first day and pass lose motion.Her values were normal in the first test. ONLY UREA WAS LITTLE HIGH.Now she has improved and started eating on the 4th day but hand is opened up and skin has fallen off and there is no blood supply in that hand.Gangrene has settled in the armpit too.Her skin looks like it has severely burnt.

My labrador baby of 3 years vomited blood few days back, her vet immediately put her on saline and few antibiotic injections and also we were advised to do a stomach and chest x ray....to find sny foreign material is stuck somewhere which was causing bleeding or so.....but in her x ray report says she had gastrointestinal problem...can you pls put light on this matter. What it was...

My sister’s dog threw up blood tonight and has diarrhoea. So I had to call her to comfort her about it. But hopefully things are alright! It’s what bought me to this video for further information.

@@moemoney4146 Sorry to hear that. :( I hope they get better soon! Thankfully they took him to the vet the next day (I talked to my sister very late the prior night) and they informed her he had pancreatitis. So they gave him some fluids in the form of a drip as he was dehydrated and all. They were going to keep him overnight but no one was going to be there so they (my sister and brother-in-law) brought him home and they given strict instructions to feed him only certain foods and the likes. Thankfully he is fine now but wasn’t himself for a few days or so. Basically as they said in the video take them to the vet as soon as possible. He didn’t need any further medication or such. Just some tender loving care. :)

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING ME CALM DOWN A LITTLE My dog Ollie has been puking up blood from the past couple of days and he act's like he's normal he's just puking up blood and my parents and I think that it's the cat litter because he eats the cat poop out of the litter box so we've been trying to keep him away from it the best we can but thank you for your help cuz now I'm pretty sure he will be fine after seeing the vet and getting a full Dionysus Before we decided to put him down which made me really sad but thank you Because now I think that he just has a small wound in his throat. I feel a little bit better knowing that he could possibly be fine ☺️

@@makafela788 he lived for a couple of months he healed up but he died a couple of months later bc of kidney problems. It's ok he's better now and recently got his best friend daisy with him now.

My dog been breathing heavy after I gave him a bad now she’s vomiting blood

My previous dog threw up blood once. It was scary! But the vet assured us that it was because he had lost a tooth so he was just bringing back up the blood that he had swallowed.

@@user-er8fe5hu3g It can be but as long as you get them to a vet quickly they’ll be fine. In my case it was due to a lost tooth and he must of swallowed a lot of blood from it. But in my sister and brother-in-law’s case it was pancreatitis. But some meds and tender care and a change of diet helped. :)

Our dog vomited blood 3 times already and it's a lot like a small bowl full. We don't know why. At first we thought he's experiencing heat stroke because my sister found him weak and breathing heavily tongue out so she gave him a bath then a couple of hours later he vomited blood. It's just sad coz we can't even bring him to a clinic 'coz there's no vet clinic nearby. I hope he survives.😭

My dog threw up once and with little specks of blood, she likes chewing on plastic bottles so maybe she cut herself ? If it happens once is it still something to worry about ?

Pls don’t let your dog chew plastic bottles it will eventually kill him

At 1st he vomited his food which was chicken breast from the oven and rice , we also have him peanut butter , then 2nd he drank water and vomited the water 3rd was water again , he’s done this before with the water because he drinks it to fast sometimes the 4th time he vomited was fresh blood , since this blood vomit he has now stopped and is still withholding his tail and is able to go for a walk with me should I wait to see if he vomits blood one more time ? He does sound like had irritation in his throat he does pull sometimes really hard on the collar he tried to attack a cat and of course the leash and collar stopped him but his throat takes the impact choking him self cus if yanking in the collar

My dog had the exact same thing happen to him. Vomiting food twice, then finally blood. I just purchased pet insurance for him bc I want to be able to afford all treatment. But there’s a wait period of 14 days. We’re monitoring him closely of course, and we will take him at any moment if he seems to decline, but he seems fine now. How’s your dog doing?

@@zakiajohnson6433 he’s doing better! Thank you for asking. So I’d actually realized that we never actually saw him vomit blood. So there was a chance it was bloody diarrhea. We ended up taking him to a vet bc we were concerned. I showed them a pic of the blood, and they said it was likely bloody diarrhea vs vomit. They said it was probably due to him eating something he shouldn’t have. They gave him antibiotics and probiotics and sent us home.

You should have taken your dog to the vets well before then or he will be so dehydrated he Will also have probably starved to death

My dog wasn't vomiting a lot of blood. It was like a bit of blood maybe a drop or two to make my dog's vomit a bit pink. He was acting alright yet it's very concerning for me and my parents, my dog doesn't really eat random things from the ground so the probability of sharp things causing it is low. We're currently monitoring him to see if he'll still vomit a bit of blood or if it'll be more bloody.

My dog died yesterday.....he was alright till the previous day before he died.....yesterday morning we saw him restless and his tongue was to one side And one of his hand was also kinda paralized.....he struggled to get up and lie to the other side......and by evening he vomited blood and within few minutes he died 🥺......i still dont know what happened to him that he vomited blood....also he ate nothing that whole day

My dog started throwing up and we took her to the vet due to a recent incident, of her paw. And we let them know of the vomit and they said everything was ok. But when we got home she threw up fresh blood(a little). And we are taking her to the vet Tomorrow since the COVID rules. And I’m very stressed

My dog has been vomiting blood on an off now for about a month. The vet I take her to keeps giving her anti nausea meds, and diarrhea. She also prescribed a special dog food. But I'm worried because it doesn't go away and I don't know what else to do for my baby. I'm so scared it's something serious and it's not being detected or caught. Some one have any advice for me 🙏

I agree with a previous commenter. Get a second opinion from another vet. I got three opinions before we got the correct diagnosis. (The second opinion was from another vet at the same clinic) The third opinion was from a completely different vet clinic, and they finally diagnosed my dog correctly. His issue was a torn CCL which was misdiagnosed as arthritis from the other 2 vets.

Hey.. maybe try holistic remedies . Don't drug your dog anymore . try a diet ?

My dog hasn't eaten for 5 to 6 days. I think he ate something. He is puking small pieces of meat. We even gave him injection and he just doesn't eat. Should we perform a surgery or is it curable. Please tell me.

@@naiintha my dog is all right now. He was super sick because of heat and summer. He got high fever and didn't eat anything, but after some injection and cure he is all right now If you dog is doing the same or not feeling active and doesn't eat even his favourite food, please check his fever, also check if his stomach is swollen. It can be his liver acid which digests the food, but if he hasn't eaten anything he will puke that acid out, firstly try to calm him down and reduce his fever by veterans help and bath him everyday, also keep him cool, against ac or cooler, when fever comes down give him some packed milk or something he eats properly. Slowly feed him and he will be all right.

@@carribeanmermaid5309 yes we kept an eye on him and after a day or two he was acting normal again, we think he may have swallowed a sharp piece of a stick or something while he was outside and it cut his stomach but he is fine now I'm so glad

Happening to my shepherd also today. First it was lots of grass that he was eating and then dark red puke.

What was the reason

My dog was throwing up blood, early at 6 am and I gave him a sample tiny portion of Americans cheese no bigger than a teaspoon to see with one of my dogs were throwing up and it was him, but afterwards he acting perfectly happy and energetic loveable cuddle bug wanting to play and run after his toy like himself, and he was even eating dogfood afterwards, and no throwing up again, and today he's fine, I told my mom we need to take him to vet, but she insisted that hes ok, and theres nothing I can do because it's not my dog
