Never thought I’d see a movie about one though. Was a lot of fun to watch, hopefully people will want to take care of animals more but stilll the exotic pet trade is it’s own problem, and invasive species in florida cry😢

After all the terrible things Netflix has done with their animated properties the last few years, hopefully the success of this movie will lead to more projects in the future.

Leo is actually a tuatara. Which makes a lot less sense, but that's what the movie says he is. Anyway, it's pretty wild how Adam Sandler made a better movie than Disney. It's a lot more wholesome and heartfelt than you'd expect. Also, the banter between Leo and Squirtle is golden.

Jayda, Summer, Leo, Anthony, and Skyler are my favorite characters but Mrs. Salinas' pregnancy storyline is my favorite storyline besides Jayda's perfection storyline and Summer's firstborn child syndrome storyline.

I watched this since people trashed on Wish saying that even this movie was better, but I ended up vibing with it. There were a couple jokes that actually had me pause the movie to laugh

Fun fact: adam Sandler in this movie is a tuatara. Tuataras arent lizards tho, they belong to a sperate group of reptiles,that just happen to look like lizards.

I'm assuming it's because Leo never necessarily said that he was talking to all the kids. He told each kid he wasn't SUPPOSSED to talk and the kid's assumed they were the one special kid who can understand animals. It's still silly, but I guess it's understandable.

This movie gives the EXACT same vibes and feeling as one of those 2nd/3rd grade chapter books we’d read that had talking animals (Mouse and the Motorcycle and Fantastic Mr. Fox and those kinds of books) AND the exact same vibes as an early 2000’s Dreamworks movie (like Bee Movie or Madagascar), and for some reason those two things mixed together just WORK for me. I loved this movie so much:) Leo taught each of the 5th graders a valuable life lesson and he also taught Disney a valuable life lesson too LOL

People can learn from their mistakes, who knew?
