@@hasnaat3026 I prefer Android because you can do alot more on it, there are alot more apps, which means that there are more music downloaders, games, launcher apps, wallpaper apps, keyboard apps, tv apps, lockscreen apps, movie apps, etc. You can customize pretty much everything however you want, easier access to free music, it has app drawers so that you dont have a big mess of apps blocking your wallpaper, more control over advanced settings, it goes against the masses (I love doing that), it has a back button, the play store is much more polished than the app store, whereas the app store is very boring and dull looking, it has Google instead of Safari as the default search, Google assistant, VR (if anyone uses that), the clock, the camera is better (depending on which one you have), more choices with different Android phones, Google play games is much more polished than Game Center, there's probably some things I'm forgetting, but there's the general idea. I don't blame anyone for getting an iPhone. iPhones are better for people who don't have time to mess with settings, old people who don't know enough about phones to have an Android, people who only want to spend the time on their phone using apps like Snapchat, etc. These are all great reasons to get an iPhone. But the Android has a whole lot more pros and less cons than the iPhone does. These are the reasons I like Android.

eg28 Android is a mess in the messaging category. Google is randomly releasing messaging apps without improving its main “Android Messages”. It still uses purely sms and I struggle to text when I experience bad signal. My messages can even take over an hour and even a week one time. When I switched to the iPhone I’ve never had a single issue and is still running strong.

I own both an iPhone 7 and a pixel and use them every day, one for personal and one for work. I used only android phones since the G2 until I finally switched to iPhone 6. I can tell you iPhone is superior to the Android system for one reason -- the iphone doesn't crash or freeze or become a memory hog that you need to reboot your phone nearly weekly. The problem still was never fixed with the pixel, mainly because android is so unstable in every generation of it that I owned.

Front facing camera first introduced by sony in ericsson Z1010, but the first smartphone that use front facing camera is htc one 8 in 2014. Lmao

The beauty of Android is that you can even set where you are getting your time from. Yes, it takes more effort to set up Android the way you want, but when you set it up, you'll feel like it is truly your device. I’ve never had any inaccuracies in the gps navigation. I believe it uses a combination of gps and tower triangulation since cell signals are typically stronger than gps signals, especially indoors or in a tunnel. Tower triangulation is probably more accurate than gps. The FCC uses ground triangulation to locate illegal radio signals. What’s wrong with the Apple maps app? It has the same interface and layout as google maps does

Time on Android is set within the internal clock which syncs over the internet because gps isn't on by default when you first turn on your Android

If your doing a experience and you want to use your smartphone as a accurate time you will have a skewed set of time because they are off 15 seconds off adds up

Good thing you put his name, hard to make out his face on the 720p iphone

So you pay x3 the amount for the correct time

He's wrong! Android as any other phone, gets the time from the GSM provider and/or from the NTP server set into the wireless network.

I checked with ClockSync app and my time is almost perfectly synced with atomic time, with -0.007 offest

If I had a time Machine I'd bring the headphone jack back

Its better to live in your head and keep all you know that you know to yourself then to be the kind of person that seems to love when they know something you dont.....rather then share cool things to those who seem interested.

I've owned both Apple and Samsung products, I gotta say the ipad mini I owned was much faster than any mechanical product I had at the timd but right now, I have Samsung phone, and it's pretty much the same as an apple iphone. It lets you do what an average smartphone can do.

Ever heard of network time? It's the exact same for iPhone and android.

I will say Ive owned both an android (Samsung s8/current device) and an iPhone (Iphone 6) and I will say that in comparison the iPhone feels a lot smoother not saying faster but smoother with not so laggy but rather friendly animations but the android on the other hand allows more choices and has many new creative ideas so all in all I enjoy both as they both have their pluses and minuses.

I work in IT. If the user is tech savvy and likes flexibility, give him an Android. If the user has very little knowledge on how technology works (simple minded), give him an iPhone.

Alex shotU exactly, an iPhone has a more simple and intuitive software design, but the Android has more options for customization; the truth is iOS users prefer simplicity and Android users prefer customability. I am an iOS user and I have a jailbroken device, I’d say I prefer the iPhone that’s jailbroken over an Android, because it allows for customability while maintaining the intuitive and simple design. Some people prefer Android’s design, and I prefer iOS, and that is perfectly fine.

It still amazes me how people can lie about facts. Benchmarks show that the A11 chip destroys the Dragon 845 and no phone has NVMe storage apart from iPhones and yet people lie. It’s physically impossible. The only phone that can match and beat the speed of new iPhones is the OnePlus 6, definitely not Samsung with their cumsplosion of shit all over the UI that I was obligated to change because it was complete ass.

Since everyone is doing the "spec wars" we should state facts don't you think? Apple is the only one that uses NVMe storage on phones that is better than UFS 2 and whilst I prefer having an SD card, I can't deny what is the better hardware. Also once you try it on a computer you will see for yourself

Time is just a social construct

One should know no instrument is accurate except for the standard it is derived from. And if you know the deviation you have to incorporate it to the raw data for fruitful final data. So if you know android is exactly 15 seconds fast that makes it accurate but may be not precise. My question is what is the deviation with i-phone??

I always get a sub-$200 Android flagship from the previous year when I have to replace my phone. It always compares pretty equally to the current-generation iPhone for a fifth the price. If I actually spent the money on a current-generation Android flagship I imagine it would blow the current iPhone away.

@@allthingsnerdy5474 Unfortunately, it's not really social pressure. It's familiarity combined with convenience. Buy a gift phone and know nothing about technology? IPhone Buying a phone for yourself and know nothing about technology? IPhone It's mostly because Apple was a household name since a generation or two ago, so because windows released their phones so late, almost nobody even remembered that their (shitty) phones exist And people that know absolutely nothing about tech and have a disposable income will just buy an Iphone for ease of access, because they know that Apple only releases one phone and is known to be reputable. The reason why people like Neil use an IPhone isn't because they're technologically impaired, it's probably because he's so busy that the extra functionality of android phones are useless to him since all he needs is calling, texting and twitter. (Maybe reading?) Basically, rich people buy Iphones because they do everything to avoid decision fatigue.

@@kdk856 It is very outdated but apple just claims that its new and innovative. They stole everything from android. Even glass backs. They made everything irreparable and they are slowing down their electronics with updates intentionally. As for android, you can't judge it off of one phone. I have a mate 20 lite and I didn't get any lag.

My iPhone 6S and my Huawei Mate 20 Lite both click over at exactly the same time.
