And what sucks even more, is to turn to tobacco to have a bit of stress relief (root cause of health problems), instead of turning to a blunt (as its illegal due to these numb nuts) The negatives of mj being grossly over-exaggarated and the negatives of the tobacco and alcohol being conviniently ignored tells us all we need to know about this twisted backward a*s country.

It's in our culture. Weed isn't a bad thing. It's just everything is bad if overused. Evn oil too much leads to cholesterol and heart attack. If Cigarettes aren't banned, weed shouldn't. Weed isn't at all bad in its own way. Can't evn compare with cigarettes, but ban cigarettes first. They do hell to the human body, weed does wonders.

@@bayscit they had an eye on me since I landed in that village a few years ago, probably for my looks and my behaviour i am a bangalorian and had moved to this village 100km from Bangalore. One fine day out of nowhere a jeep and two bikes stop at my house, do a full thorough search of my house and surrounding areas but they didn't find anything, the jeep went back to the station (i assumed they were getting dog squad to search) but they came back with their own stash, and made me stand in front of their evidence and took photos and arrested me. The evidence was not even placed in my location, they took me in a jeep to the main road and then took photos with the evidence (which they had arranged).. and said now we have evidence 🤪. Before my father could come to the station and understand what is going on, they made sure i get jailed (within 3hrs ) all paperwork was done took me to judge house took his signature and threw me in jail.

Now from this govt can't collect taxes as it can from alcohol, tobacco and Pharma companies as anyone can grow this. It is heavily used in painkillers , cancer treatment etc. But money is the name of the game brother.

But the stigma is such that 99% won't like to be identified. If half the consumers had any balls, to fight for their right to choose, it could be legalized in a few days. And the business and export potential is so huge that we could be a developed country in a few years. In comparison alcohol which actually makes many people aggressive and violent and has a much higher addiction potential is legal. What an irony and mistreatment to the king of plants which ayurveda rightfully names as VIJAYA. Such hypocrisy. 🙏 🙏

Thing is, even if they do legalise it, it will obviously be for medicinal purposes and not recreational. But in my opinion, that wouldn't solve the problem. The Black market would still be the king of the market when it comes to recreational marijuana. So, I don't think that would solve the problem. I mean if you legalise it, just legalise it completely. Even then the black market would be operating. But then the further step should be to stop the black market. And in time, the black market for alcohol and weed would become the same in terms of scale. But yeah, again, if you think legalise it, legalise it completely. Make it available for the medical industry as well as the common man. Make it available the same way alcohol is available to everyone on all legal states. Put the same restrictions or the same type of restrictions on weed that you have on alcohol. If you suspect people of smoking up in public areas, then ban smoking cigarettes outside in the entire country just like Bangalore and Delhi. Because I think if it's made legal only for medicinal purposes and still is criminalised for recreational, there'll be riots, fights, violence, for sure. And why do I feel should be legal? Because the country who made it illegal in the first place, is now enjoying the high. And we're still stuck!

Cannabis cigarettes are legal in India .. you just need to have a prescription for it from an ayurveda doctor .. I personally have it and I can smoke anywhere I want .. the rule so far is that the prescribed cannabis cigarette should have less than or equal to .3 percent cannaboids in it.

People in the country have so much joint pains. Hemp oil is great for joint pains. Roasted Hemp seeds can also be used in salads . But we are not able to grow it. As only seeds and stems can be sold. This wont make it enough for any farmer to grow it.

I realised, court can only interpret the constitution and cannot amend it. The changes have to be submitted in the legislative assembly.😭, India having so many major issues will not consider this as a priority.

Alcohol numbs your brain and weed heightens your brain senses. Alcohol makes time move faster, weed would make you perceive time slower. You would be able to sense a lot more stuff with weed. Like you could easily breakdown the individual ingredient in a snack you eat. Alcohol impairs your motor capabilities (walking coordination etc) whereas Weed impairs your decision making (like if you wanna stop or continue walking while crossing a road). Also weed makes you cautious and sometime too much weed can make you paranoid resulting in bad trip though Paranoia is only for people who smoke occasionally, Regular cannabis users wouldn't suffer from Paranoia. Also the most important thing, Alcohol is addictive but weed is not. You won't get withdrawal once you quit weed in-fact `T-breaks` are encouraged with Weed.
