When I was in 12th, all students got the task to make science projects for project exhibition, I make a working steam engine from useless items in just ₹500 and my classmates buy dead projects worth 5000. They all were mocking of my project until a IIT professor walk in who appreciated my work and take pictures of it. In the end, I won the 1st prize. 😊

That's what innovative thinking is. I remember my school days, whenever we were given and projects, all the classmates invest heavy amounts for that project and some even don't do it by themselves, they give the projects to be made by shops or other professionals which is actually being made by the students by utilising their thinking skills and scrap materials. Fortunately I wasn't that financially sound to afford such expenses and thus I did my projects using easily available and cheap scrap materials and made my projects. Although I didn't got full marks, l was always getting 60-65% and my teachers amd classmates didn't like my methods but I was self content that I did it by myself in a very less amount of time and money.

Nah mostly parents think Maths has many fields in future and it costs less fees in college And they think Biology costs too much fees and Commerce,arts has no jobs in future. When I was in Class 11th 80% of people took maths and I was also one of them But I took Maths bcz I had interest in it but I don't think that all the 80% people were interested in Maths.

I am in 10th right now; before the lockdown started I was practicing taekwondo and when the lockdown hit I developed an interest in art and drawings. But the moment I came in 10th everything changed, teachers started giving 5-7 page assignments daily, our tution teacher stopped giving us any holidays and eventually pressure build up was bad that it killed my interest in everything, everytime I think of drawing something I realize that I have an assignment to complete or an exam to revise for, every time I think of rejoining my tkd classes my tution teacher is like "we are having extra classes", "you can't take holidays in 10th" and he is so cunning that he knows my class timings and has adjusted the timetable so that it covers all of the batches. It's so fucking frustrating and I'm already bored of all of the shit

A little help from me: people are gonna be putting you under pressure. they will confuse you by saying "take commerce, take science", etc. Don't listen to those people. Choose the group that you like. You can also seek counselling if you want. Try to get good marks in math and science. Language doesn't matter but still try to get more than 80 or 85 percent. Good marks in Math and science allows you to take any group that you want to take. Bye - Bye!

The only thing I remembered when I was in 1st class, my principal torn down my note book because I covered it with newspaper with picture of Sachin. That was a christian convent school where from books to socks we have to buy from principal office. Every year they change the books & uniform and may be water bottles so they can make money out of it. That was fucking disastrous.

Also I would like to cover some big caveats in NEP, like it doesn't account for various major issues which can govern quality of education such as : Lack of faculty requirement in institutions, Lack of quality and trained professors, Lack of time spent by teachers to focus on weak students and improving them, Lack of updated syllabus, Lack of proper laboratory equipments, Lack of will to completely revise practicals performed in colleges/senior classes (the practicals performed are usually decades old), No support for those who pursue vocational subjects as their career (not a single middle class boy would like to pursue carpentry/gardening/metal forgery as a skilled occupation even if these sound interesting to them, Edit 1 : Lastly the Lack of exploring a subject, as a teen we neither get that time nor the encouragement to explore/experiment with the subject or discuss things that are parallel to subject, but outside the diameter of our syllabus/curriculum.

Uniform is good, it also helps with looking clean and disciplined. I just think it should be more comfortable and climate conscious, like don’t make children wear blazers in a forty degree climate. That’s the height of stupidity.

Peoples mentality also need to be changed. One my relative's daughter read in a private school. Her fees is too high. I asked him why you are paying so much money when your salary isn't so high? He thinks English is the main way to get better education.!!

Mere dad gov school me principal hai ,unke school ki halat bhot kharab ho gayi thi lock down me to dad ne government ko inform kia school repair ke baare me 1week baad engineers aaye school check krne aur government ne required amount school account me jama kia but school almost pura repair ho e hi wala hai ki Village ke gram panchayat mere dad ko force kr rahe hai ki jo paisa gov ne dia uska half amount hume dedo . Ye gav wale log sab curroupted hai .

Wow it's an amazing information you gave because I am an aspiraNt for upsc indian foreign service who failed in cbse exam and iitjee and i scored low in class 10 of cgpa 5.6 and i did science stream luckily and my class 12 percentage is 64.6% and my iitjee mains marks is 40 me as a guy who's not even eligible to do mba in IIM'S and not even in universities and private colleges and i did class 7 twice and failed in class 9th annual exam and retook the test and did 10th and i did graduation b.e in average engineering college and had standing arrears till 8th semester and passed out with low cgpa of second class of 6.19 I'm proud that i stand out of the crowd.so since i failed all the competitive exams i dint ssc test 2021 which means the lesson i learned is never get into the trap of (SCHOOL CBSE/HSC TOPPER IN CLASS 10&12 AND GRADUATED FROM IIT AND DID MBA FROM IIM'S)just for the sake of marriage this is the life lesson i learned and i am proud to be failure

Now talented students are leaving India and working for other countries Because of this education system 🥲

When I was in my 6th,there was given an experiment to write in my biology exam,I wrote it very well and skillful by my own words and everything was correct,but I didn't get the marks for this and my friends who wrote as it is as written in book and they got full marks for this,I felt very bad and then showed to my mom and she said everything was correct,we used to be in madhya pradesh, then we went to Andhra pradesh, then I wrote everything well by my own and I was given full marks,tragic education of Indian especially north

Omg I'm so sorry the person who got full marks knows nothing about the subjects whereas you know the education but if i saw your project i will definitely appreciate you because I am a failure in cbse schools who failed in class 6,7,9&11 and got kicked out of my school nearly 2 times and i repeated class 7 2 times and in my life but I am an aspiraNt for upsc indian foreign service whos not a person graduated from IIT and i am also an person who's not eligible for MBA not even in universities private colleges and IIM'S to be frank I'm proud of you that you have refused to be part of the indian mentality and education system and my dad's brother sons who did nit and did mba from IIM were rank holders fell into soceitial trap of marriage but i stood out of it i took retest in class 9 and got promoted to class 10 which means i enjoyed my life

IITs we're setup as a showpiece to train indian engineers to International level Now it's only a showpiece

I used to read one book a week. I have an immense passion for reading. I just like to deep dive in the books because it makes me the most alive. When I am reading I feel I am living the lives of the characters. I feel like I am sharing their miseries, their joys and their excitements. I also like public speaking and debating but after I joined an engg cource after 10th class. I have had hardly the time to pursue these passions of time even tho I am interested in the subjects I am studying. But I feel if they just focus on the practicality of the subjects rather than rote learning of the formulas and concepts it will be much more helpful.

Aryabhatta, bharakaracharya, sushrut, kanad and many sages gave not a topic but whole books of knowledge. But we are taught everything developed only in last 2 centuries when we were colonized. can't imagine how generation after generation have gone through it. Hopefully New Education Policy bring good changes and implementation is done properly ❤️

@Savage & Savage English use for teaching & official use is a different thing. Even if you use your regional language with some English terms or words mixed in it, a student can understand it better. You yourself might have come across many teachers in college who teach in Hindi or whatever your regional language is. As for the official use, you know politics of the South.

Yesterday my sister made a project something related to latest microprocessor but her professor gave him 0 marks for the project because she didn't use 8085 microprocessor in her project. (Now I didn't know what are latest microprocessors) I asked her why didn't you use 8085 microprocessor she said it was an old microprocessor and she wants to try a new one I.e latest one. She also told me 8085 microprocessor is outdated and many colleges follow old 80s teaching. I was dumbstruck after hearing this...🤕😑😐

Cohert based education system is just a gimmick by Edtech start-ups. There is nothing fundamentally different between them and the schools, colleges and coaching industry of our country. Same people teach there too. India along with some asian countries are the only place where students have to take private tuition along with their school. Which is insane.

We're just taught what's written in the book,(if they teach the same shit what's written in the book without explaining it in a new way or method, what's the point of going to school or paying the fee,we can just go purchase the books and study the same method why is there a need of a teacher here?)which forces students to buyheart the topic rather than understanding it 2. Teachers who teach a subject may not even know what is the use of that subject(implementation in real life) 3. We are just forced to study and learn just for exams and test, not to understand that particular topic or subject 4. Strictness of the staff, if a school instults or beat a child to study or learn Students will have a fear to study(physically hurting children is a crime in many countries) The Indian education system has more demerits than merits. I've got some more examples but the comment is already too long and I don't want to expand it more....

Education has two parts physical education and mental education Mental education is given everyday for many hours but physical education periods is only once a week [one period a week(half hour)]that too 50% times are taken by subject teacher that means 26 periods. Some times there are holidays on that day and some times weather is not good. Is this our education policy
