I’m a sophomore and have been having a super tough time, I’ve been thinking of transferring since last year. I always told myself to just stick it out but I finally decided to at least fill out some applications and see where that takes me

Transferring was one of the best things I did, it took me a long time to tell people in my personal life and to the world, because on a certain level it felt like I had failed and then was having an imposter syndrome moment because I have an Instagram dedicated to my college journey. Everything happens for a reason, and once I took a step back and looked at everything I relized I was opening more opportunitys for myself now and in the future. It has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life so far. Proud of you!💕💕

omg this warmed my heart!! I totally agree. I think thats also why I felt like I wanted to wait to share. A lot of people found my channel because of where I went to school and I didn't want to let them down, but you can't inspire others if you don't do what makes you happy! GIRL I’m so happy for you! I actually transferred TO mount Holyoke and couldn’t be more grateful. The reason for transferring out of my old college was similar to yours but the opposite; I was at a coed state school and I wanted to go to a small liberal arts historical women’s college without a traditional college football culture. (I went to a big high school too and wasn’t a big fan of it)I also grew up in a big city (or very close to) and I really liked the rual location of mhc. Mhc also had the major I wanted that my old college didn’t and the campus was just waaaaay prettier imo. Best of luck to you at your new school 💕😊

When I was in undergrad I transferred several times and each was without much planning or logic because I was young and didn’t know what I was doing. Even so, I was happy where I ended up and then I got in top schools for my graduate studies! You definitely should follow your dreams and make the most out of every opportunity.

This just goes to show that it's never too late to change your mind! i feel like we're all so pressured to make this huge college decision in our senior year and we think it'll determine the rest of our lives. I can relate to u in a way cause I'm also a sophomore in college rn and although i didn't transfer, I did change my major beginning of sophomore year. Best decision ever! Omg thank you Sofia!! I literally am SO happy I did this for myself. I had a lot of self doubt and almost didn’t apply but I’m so so happy I did!!! Also RIGHT?! Fun fact I wasn’t going anywhere this was in my driveway but it just felt right 😂

Hey! im transferring from a historically womens college as well and completely understand where your coming from! i also went because i believed it would be better financially for my family and tried to make it work, but i realized after my first semester i wasnt truly happy there, and the college didnt have what i needed personally to succeed. and as im continuing to watch this video i had so many reasons in common with you! thank you so much for posting this video and for your advice, its been extremely clarifying and nice to find someone that feels the same way as i do.

Girl I feel that I went to community college for 2 years and liked it but only went there bc my dream school didn’t work out I’m grateful and loved it but I transferred to a southern school bc I always knew I wanted to go to a southern school and it was the best decision of my life for real I never thought I wanted to live on campus but I absolutely adore it

I transferred out of MHC. Loved the place but it just wasn’t what i needed. I moved to Boston. Best choice EVERRR.

I am currently attending a small women’s college and I’ve been thinking of transferring. I feel like I’d do better in a mixed gender environment with more people to talk to. I love the small classes and the professors here but I feel a bit trapped. I’d love some advice from anyone who can relate to this.

Should I transfer to another highscool if I feel alone in my classroom (I try to talk to them but they somehow don't respond meaning they don't see me as a friend and when there are Projects they refuse me :( but I really get along very well with friends from other classrooms, but what they learn doesn't match with my goals in life :((
