gabriel garcia It’s far from too late. But definitely need to get off the current path. But yeah, they’ve been let down. They created a great basis, for a society that values liberties over all else. But they could’ve never guessed most of the country would become literate, that media companies put fear on 24/7. ( What else do you expect to happen.) Betting on the evolution of the USA was a great idea & the safest. But technology leaked so far ahead, those in power rather than trying to adapt with it. Let it be to amass further security of power.

I also spent one month on the DMZ , really close to Panmunjom. We lived in underground bunkers, and spent 4 hour shifts in guard towers , monitoring activity in North Korea.. Wow, it was an experience I'll never forget.. South Korea is a Beautiful country.. I Loved the people , and culture.. I know in my heart that the North Korean people are just as Wonderful.. I'm so happy that you were able to leave North Korea , and gain your Freedom.. The world is Beautiful, and there is so much to explore, and learn.. Best of Everything to you on your journey in life. @@MsMusicfreak666 Why would Americans denigrate America so badly that they claim to hate America but their actual belief is that they don't actually hate America? It's perfectly sensible to say "I don't like these particular aspects of America" and "here is my plan to improve these aspects". What's not sensible it to claim America (which is objectively the greatest country on earth) is so terrible that everything (including its foundational philosophies) are worthy of denigration. These Americans say this as if there happens to be a greater country today that is doing better than America. I wonder what would happen to these people if they knew what the rest of the world is like and how life was like all throughout history?

@@MsMusicfreak666 In my childhood, I've lived in poverty with several complex medical conditions affecting me. If that doesn't count as desperate, difficulty, and frustration, I don't know what does. I can tell you that I've never grown up being angry at my society. I have the blessing of being born to Christian parents and they read to me about life in biblical times. This taught me that *it is universal for all humans to experience difficult, frustrating, and oppressive lives* . Even in our miraculous future age of 2020 with unfathomable magical tools of convenience, the fundamental human condition is still the same. So what's the difference between these ingrates and myself? The difference is about learning history, and understanding gratitude. They don't have the blessing of learning life outside of their own bubble, they are not taught the utility of gratitude in all things.

@Lyric That is not the case at all, especially the free healthcare. America does _not_ have free healthcare. Medical bills are one of the major causes of bankruptcy, and you can bet that if somebody's homeless, it's often through no fault of their own. :\

@@MsMusicfreak666 My point is that America is the greatest country on earth and that America doesn't have a closed border exit policy (i.e. go migrate to the greatest country if America isn't the greatest). "Asking to do better" is not a bad thing, but declaring open hatred for America, the greatest country on earth, is a purely nonsensical opinion. I'm all for knowing our own faults, I follow the doctrine of "deterministic cause and effect". What I can't stand is open hatred towards the greatest country on earth, America by Americans currently living inside America. Rather than seeing a good country that has flaws that can be improved, these ingrates see a terrible country that needs total social upheaval into whatever totalitarian nightmare they call utopia.

You still do
Next time someone in America complains about being oppressed (both sides do it), show them this video.

Yeah America still has it's problems, especially towards those that are brown.

@Reese Cup You sound so ignorant. I'm brown and I don't receive any government help. I have degrees in science and psychology. I don't have any children and both of my parents are at home, YET, I have been followed in stores, profiled, called the N word multiple times, told to go back to Africa, called lazy while at WORK. I've had multiple people stereotype me just to feel and look stupid when they learn my academic background. Like I said, there are major issues in this country towards brown and black people period. Those who pretend it doesn't happen are a part of the problem. You're a part of the problem.

@Joseph Gutierrez that’s usually what I do when I get told to make guys a sandwich or to get back to the kitchen when gaming. I usually just pop the “at least I’m not a virgin” phrase and they shut up lol. I don’t let it bother me.. if someone is being shitty to me that’s there problem not mine.

You seem like a really sweet person. Glad to have somebody like you in our country. Hoping your future is bright. : )
Eunhee's English is OUTSTANDING!!! It's really interesting to hear her experiences and the cultural differences.
Her English is So Good
“They look like they felt free” Eren's wet dreams be like.
I like how the quotations at the bottom are in a more formal English it helps to teach. But growing up in such diverse neighborhoods in Chicago, that I did, I love hearing the different vibes that the English language could have.
Loved your video!! Best wishes for your future endeavors!!’
She’s so cool!
Very interesting Eunhee! I learn a lot about NK each time I watch these videos. I´m from Argentina and, despite the fact the country is a mix of different people from around the world, here there´s a few asians (chinese mostly, korean and japanese) and argentine call them all "chinese". They can´t tell the difference. It´s a bit racist and many no chinese asians get mad when this happens.
@raveousone

it's considered racist but it isn't really because most asians can't tell the difference between an american and a brit or a scottish man from a french man until they speak and generally call us all americans or europeans and not many westerners that don't speak asian languages can tell the difference between asian ethnic groups by accent or language alone just like asians tend to look younger than they really are to us westerners or we are all younger than we look to most asians its just how things are racism is intentional and deliberate acts of hatred not misunderstandings that are relatively harmless with no hate intended.... that said it would be more polite to call them asain until you know what their nationality is it's my prefered method but then again as a white male im completely racist sexist and evil (so the news and our so called democrat politicians tell me) so i could be wrong in my approach
WAY TO GO!!!! YOU'RE AN EVERY DAY. EXTRAORDINARY HERO AND WE NEED MORE LIKE YOU ALL!!!!!
Thank you for sharing your story. It was very nice to hear an outside perspective.

Love to all the people who are from NK and had the courage to escape. We love you and are very happy you are free! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ such a beautiful woman inside and out! You are so intelligent. Your family would be so proud of you!
Eunhee your English has got so much better since 2 years ago when I saw you in that Thanksgiving video on Digitalsoju TV.
I’m 6’8” tall. This lady would think I am an actual giant. 😄
I remember growing up in the Philippines watching Charlie's Angel's and Wonder Woman in the 80s, and I thought all American ppl were beautiful. Then I moved to the US at 8 and most were overweight and average looking. I told my mom, no one looks like Lynda Carter or Jacklyn Smith here. Talk about false advertisement.

Well, that's what you get by just looking at models and celebrities. I suppose if an American only saw the Filipinas in FHM and Filipina actresses he'd think all filipinas were tall with white skin then get a surprise when he actually visited and met the real people.

I am glad you are now able to enjoy the freedoms we take for granted and do not protect as well as we should... thank you for sharing your story and self with the western world. I hope that you enjoy the freedom and help teach us to make the most of it.
What a beautiful young lady! And her English is better than that of many Americans I know!
