Some of the best gaming memories I've had was chapter 1 of Fortnite. Everybody was online, everybody was laughing. We all faded away from it now, which is sad to see. Sweaty kids and highly comptetive ruined it, they cant turn back now.

Yea and the playground mode made the skill level increase when it shouldn't have. Played before the first season of the game, and it was fun during the early times. But now its just spam, build spam, jump like your doing hopscotch, and edit at the speed of light. It won't ever be good as it was from the beginning.

@@coldtheboi600 playground wasn't the problem. It's the skill based matchmaking. Believe it or not it's not fun in any game....it's not as fun in COD, or Warzone. It's not fun in Apex. They aren't fun. I'm currently ranked as Platinum in Apex, even though I am technically Diamond. And I play against FULL LOBBIES of Master and Predators....that shouldn't even be happening. Lol. That is NOT FUN. I have to sweat so hard with random trash teammates against 3 stack gods.

Respect Courage, Fortnite was my main for 2 1/2 years, season 10 really ruined it for me and the fact that 16 year olds tried so hard at this game, they ruined it. They were to blind to see that the game they loved and wanted to be the best at destroyed the gaming experience for everyone. I havnt played Fortnite in a couple of months and every time I come back to it it’s always changed. I wish I could go back to the good old days were it was just me and the boys rippin Fert. The thing is everyone would be good at the game if the game wasn’t so garbage now. No garbage is a bit mean, I would say it’s un fun the people who are playing now are probably kids who are new to the game and have the thrill of getting better at it whilst us ogs have passed that feeling and are now bored of the game due to decisions epic made that we didn’t agree with. Since the new players never experienced how fun fortnite used to be, they’re just used to how the game is now. But now I think the game has reached its skill cap which is some what of a good thing because if they make the game fun again (WHICH IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY) everyone will be playing on a equal playing field

@DrewZull Plays nah it’s garbage now, they’re catering to little kids and sweats. The whole game looks like an avengers sticker book and you need to have an engineering degree to build like an average player.

Fortnite is revivable, they must bring back the old map, old graphics, old sounds, etc. that will give a nostalgia feel. People want the game that they fell in love with. Bring back these crazy items. Make the game fell og and simple. Add 150 players into each lobby. Remove skill based matchmaking. Make arena the hub for skill based match making. keep the player base by adding new poi’s and weekly item additions and removals. Then the game will be perfect and every streamer will be back.

Your reasons for falling out of love with fortnite is exactly the same for me with cod. Sbmm is just so tiring. Went from playing every day all day to now only playing like once a month, sometimes longer. Sucks to not have any desire to play it at all.

september 2017 i first started playing fortnite and early on fortnite was the best gaming experience i ever had and thats coming from me having played halo 3, almost any cod w my friends, gta 5, and destiny 1. but fortnite was just different. its a shame i lost the love for the game basically since season 8 but watching any old fortnite moments will always make me wanna go back and play fortnite for the first time again

Your entire speech at the end is the EXACT reason I don’t really play anymore. Sweats have ruined the game, I just can’t have any more fun without being a try hard which I’m not trying to do. They removed fun items. They added SBMM. And they removed all the fun. I will still watch the events because those are amazing. All they need to do is somehow get more people in lobby’s and find a way to bring the fun back. I hate that one of my favourite games has gone in this direction after playing it for 3 years. I hope they fix it at some time. Keep doin what your doing!

I agree the game had it down fall but when people say the game is not fun it’s bc u are bad...

@@pbkazii1 People get not wanting to sweat mixed up w being bad. The two are not connected. I played before seasons/battlepass was launched up to around the end of season 3. Played it again 2 weeks ago and it has gone wayyyy downhill. Its NOTHING like it use to be. When I played we didn't have sweats like they do now, hell we won games even when we fucked around for most of the match. The downhill slide happened when it become too competitive, it was more of a party game at first until the competitiveness kicked in and little kids started to play. So the people saying its ruined bc of sweats (which it is) aren't quitters, its just we remember this game not being so competitive all the time.

Its soo true! They decided to concentrate on the casual gamer and just forgotten about everyone else. Its ment to feel GREAT when you win!! And if they just forget about profits and consider the game and gamers they would would have a game to last forever.

Fortnite is revivable, they must bring back the old map, old graphics, old sounds, etc. that will give a nostalgia feel. People want the game that they fell in love with. Bring back these crazy items. Make the game fell og and simple. Add 150 players into each lobby. Remove skill based matchmaking. Make arena the hub for skill based match making. keep the player base by adding new poi’s and weekly item additions and removals. Then the game will be perfect and every streamer will be back.

@@USER-fd-me1ep nah. I played it before the seasons/battlepass update was launched and played until around the end of season 3. That time it was just a fun chill game that you didn't have to sweat at to be good or even win sometimes. Me and my friends won games even while fucking around for most of the match.

I came from Fortnite but stayed for the person you are. Used to watch Lachlan since he’s early factions days but now I changed from watching his daily vids to watching urs

Honestly after season x i fell away and the sweats that drew me away from fortnite

The old days you could just see noobs having no idea that your behind them

I don’t rlly know why but watching this made me emotional and IK I’ll probs get hate for say thing this but I watched so much Courage and met so many friends and grew close to so many ppl during fortnite and knowing that so many streamers and friends I don’t know anymore don’t play it really makes me wish I were back in the good old days and now growing up life moves faster then U want it to and not taking advantage of the fun times I had when I had them really makes me emotional so basically the point I’m tryna make it take I’m the fun moments you have don’t move on so fast and enjoy your time while you have it bcs eventually you don’t have time for that stuff and you’ll be wishing you enjoyed it more then U did in the moment anyways LY courage keep up the grind love you man your legit the best ❤️

Not to mention all the overpowered items I would rather Mecs than the Avengers and boss items tbh

I want to love this game, I'm new to it. Just started playing during the Marvel season. I'll enjoy 80% of a match...then you find that one guy or team that once they hear a shot fired they are suddenly in a 12 room castle. I just wish there was some sort of cool down on the building. It's just too much for me. I don't find it enjoyable or interesting, it's just frustrating and enjoyment ruining.

We all know courage wears shoes while streaming so we can't see them toes.

My first season was season 6, i enjoyed season 7 and 8 but season 9 was in my opinion where the game started dying, you might disagree with me but that’s when they started running out of ideas. They started destroying the game with overpowered weapons and items and it just didn’t feel the same as the previous seasons, skill based matchmaking was when the game truly “died” all of the original players that hadn’t become sweats including me got absolutely shat on and it got so boring and annoying, I quit fortnite until I rejoined on season 2 and that was when I found the game pretty fun again, so I played from season 2-3 and then I quit because it was so boring with the mythics feeling terrible and underpowered compared to season 2, because they are supposed to be overpowered weapons you kill a boss for not guns that you can find lying around or buy. Anyway that’s why I quit. I left out some details for the sake of not making a book out of this, anyway thanks for taking the time out of your day to read this.

I hundred percent agree with everything you said.Every time that item is Added in the game people complain. The fire bowl has been removed out of any competitive game mode and the explosive bow and the shockwave but the only bow you can get is the stinking bow

prime time of fortnite was season 6 and season 8 for me and one of my friends. it was a really good experience for us, and in a point in our lives.
