    This is very inspirational. I wish I was as brave as you. China is a place that is in my travel bucket list. I do want to go and live abroad, but first I have to save up. I am thinking about living in Japan, since I know the language and love their culture. It has been my dream country to go to ever since I was in middle school. Right now I am 25 and the dream has not gone away :D I am giving myself 3 years to actually save up. 3 years because I do want to get a degree in college and while in college I plan to work. I am prob going to try and get the work visa. It is going to be an interesting ride. My parents reaction will be fun. They have no idea about my plans yet :/.

    I found your channel when I was searching for a housing/apartment tour in Shanghai. I lived in the U.S. and the kitchen is my living space. Many of the places I've lived in before have big open kitchen floor plan. Based on several of the house/apartment tours I've seen on youtube, it looks like some of those places don't even have a kitchen at all. How hard will it be to find a place with an adequate kitchen space?

  • @jennyjzhou

    @jennyjzhou

    8 жыл бұрын

    hey nali !!!!! oooof i have the saddest kitchen hahaha it kinda depends on if you want a big kitchen and a crap tiny bathroom (my last apartment) or a good bathroom and non existent kitchen, but my new place is a studio so i guess thats why there are no open plan kitchens that i've seen but if you live in compounds and more modern apartments the kitchens are quite sufficient :D xo

    Hi Jenny, you've definitely inspired me to be more daring in life - I've had similar experiences in the past where race came into play where it shouldn't have - anyway, how do you overcome any bitterness - or maybe it just isn't in your nature? Totally off topic but you have a way of speaking and your mannerisms remind me of Miley Cyrus, of all people LOL. Have you ever done the MBTI test because you seem like an Extrovert. I'm definitely more of an introvert.

    Actually majority of Asian people not be treated equally in Australia. You may find that nobody think you are local people. Welcome back to your actual hometown, China is growing powerful and more and more opportunities for achieving your dreams here.

    I was born in foreign country as Chinese ethnicity, in here we are treated not 100% as local. I went to China, They thought I was local in the first, until I started open my mouth and they knew im not local and treated me differently. Damn boy, it is hard to be immigrant descendant, especially like 3rd-4th generation

    I feel ya! We go through the same thing in the states. A lot of the shows these days are too white-washed and have plots that are just way too unrealistic for many people like myself to relate to even watch. Although it is getting better here in the US, but were are just not there yet. I lived in Shanghai for about 8 months at Fudan learning Chinese and it was awesome and a great learning experience for myself. I really enjoyed it and looking forward to going back to Shanghai soon.

    你的身份是由你自己認同的,不是源於你的出生地,國籍或種族。 你可以是澳洲籍中國人,也可以是華裔澳洲人,這沒有標準的。 前者是部分亞洲國家的價值觀,後者是西方價值觀。西方的價值觀適合於西方,因為方便他們同化移民。 試想想,猶太人在世界一千多年都沒有被同化,所以他們才這麼成功,才能經歷多年才建國(以色列)成功。 所以不要被西方價值觀洗腦,你的未來和身份是由你選擇
