    You can go for 2022 Cherokee Trailhawk. It looks similar to yours but it has been updated. With dealer discounts it is about 35k. Something else a little different but more modern and bigger on the inside would be Santa Fe/ Limited at 40K. A Mercedes GLB at just under 50 K would be an updated experience. Not the best time to buy a car. Let us know . Good luck.

    ive owned my 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude that is quite similar to your trailhawk and have mostly enjoyed it for the 8 years so far. the thing i guess i am afraid of is the transmission going bad since my warranty is up. But i plan on changing the fluid to extend the life of my transmission.the thing with the transaxle is that u cant change the filter without taking the entire thing out, so im only going to change the fluid. surprisingly this vehicle gave me less problems then other vehicles i owned including a Honda Civid (infamous for durability) . I had to replace the PCV valve that went bad prior to its 100K replace date and the bumper burned out from the black contaminated exhaust. transmission was giving issues till i found it was a bad fuse that fixed the problem so i have been real hard on the transmission heavy hauling and so far not the smoothest transmission but still kicking it. if i were to upgrade this in the coming years ide probably get a ford expedition.

    Its actually more of an 4WD biased vehicle. Even in Auto-mode, it has the rears engaged more often than not. If you want the more modern updates and don't really need to tow or actually utilize the offroad capabilities, i'd look into a Honda CRV. The 4Runner many keep suggesting still has ancient feeling tech and design, plus it is much larger than the Cherokee.

  • @CarGuy11

    @CarGuy11

    Жыл бұрын

    I think they improved the 4wd system on newer model years like yours. Mine would spin the fronts often before kicking in the rear. I would turn traction control off which would engage the rear full time.

  • @FearlessTrailhawk

    @FearlessTrailhawk

    Жыл бұрын

    @@CarGuy11 Actually, the guy that did all the data logging to prove how often the rears were engaged did it on either a '15 or a '17. I guarantee if you pulled the F10 fuse you'd spin the fronts almost every take-off. The Jeep is programmed to have the rears engaged for take-offs and then disable once cruising speed is reached....then re-engaged upon deceleration.
