My acting teacher says the less acting you do, the better your acting will be. I am in acting two at a local community college. I made a B in acting one. My acting teacher also says we should VOTE to make a character. I love your channel

Hi, I'm a huge fan of your chanel, but I have a request, could you maybe do an analysis of Heath Ledger's Joker from The Dark Knight (obviously if you haven't done it yet, but I didn't see it on your chanel)? It's my favorite performance of all the time and the way Heath portrayed the character is just mid blowing. I think it would be really interesting to see it😃😃

Happy final Saturday of January 2024 sir. So I'm 37, live near Dallas, TX, haven't had any acting credits in 6 yrs, only have a handful of credits here and there between 2004 to 2018, have no demo reel...what do I need to do in order to get started pursuing an acting career?

You’ll need a headshot and good chance a demo reel, as well as some credits on your resume wouldn’t be bad. Ultimate, you are going to want an agent if you can get one and they will require these things. 1. Demo reel - you can either attempt creating one for yourself (if you know how to use a camera/lighting/audio) or if you get booked in short films/student projects that will give you footage you can put into your demo reel. To apply for these types of projects you can use online submission platforms like actors access or backstage, just due your due diligence in reviewing these projects. 2. Credits for resume - by doing shorts or student projects it will build your resume. 3. Headshots - either find someone who can take your photos (companies or doing it yourself is an option.
