Not to forget, sometimes people speak so louder to the extent that we can't hear from God.

When we see the story in the garden when Adam said to God that it's the woman u gave me is the one whole made me eat the fruit , there God speaks in psalms that whoever sees finds favour so , @ cake ur right in this , people give excuses that God gave me a wrong pattern

Again marriage doesn't heal bad behaviors, deal with it before settling down

There was so much noise from people that God was not given enough time to reveal himself...

I don't think you need to look for confirmations outside that much,even the devil speaks

Ehhh. This story is unique and intriguing. I haven't heard stories before where couples led to each by God ended up leaving the marriage. Thank you for sharing.

Loved you question Nicole at 14minutes,still would ask the same,was it God? Just because people who love the Lord spoke did it mean it was God?

Many voices, it could have been familiar spirits. Also as the saying goes, easy come..... But we believe God works all things together for the good of those that love him. Thank you for sharing your testimony.

Let me point out some things: When settling for the decision on the man you want for a husband, please reduce the voices speaking to your ears, reduce the number of people bringing opinions concerning the same. ✓Marriage is a huge personal responsibility and as much as you are welcoming people's opinions please sit down alone and talk the whole thing, just you and God and decide as you. ✓Church is like a hospital, you will find people with all sorts of sicknesses, again there are people on missions and will do anything to accomplish their mission even if it means greeting you in " tongues" Avoid "you look good together marriages" , " you will make a beautiful couple marriage" Remember this is a life thing, take your time. ✓ When God is about to bless you, the devil will appear first with seemingly same thing you have been waiting for... It's upon you to wait for that gentle whisper.... Remember our God is not a God of confusion. ✓ Always remember marriage happens in your matrimonial home and not church, aside the most important things to consider in marriage, please put effort in knowing this person's character.

Nothing like being over spiritual here.. I always advice people that most of these things that we call red flags are spiritual and have to be dealt with like wise. You would be surprised that when such people get deliverance they will look at each other in a different way and love each other correctly despite the challenges that maybe there. Couples out there always pray for your spouses the devil is on the lookout for these marriages and can do anything to separate a union. I pray that God strengthen and be with sis Michelle 💕

Hi Michelle. Thank you for sharing your testimony. Do you mind sharing a biblical example of confirmation/s similar to yours, even if it's not in the context of marriage? I personally think you had too many voices talking to your situation and somehow you missed the voice of God. It is very possible for God to change our character while we are single. It is unlike God's character to put us through pain just so he can refine us.

I think i'll do a teaching on this when the testimony ends. But just to give you a snipet of incidebts such as this in the Bible, that reveal the nature and character of God as it relates to passing us through the fire for ministry. It's God's common practice for His chosen ones. 1. Joseph's story. Genesis chapters 37 - 47 In summary, all the suffering that Joseph went through was so that he could save both Egypt and his family from famine. David the Psalmist does a nice summary of it in Psalm 105:16-19 (NKJV): 16Moreover He called for a famine in the land; He destroyed all the provision of bread. 17He sent a man before them-Joseph-who was sold as a slave. 18They hurt his feet with fetters, He was laid in irons. 19Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the LORD tested him. 2. Moses' story: Exodus Chapters 2 - 4 Despite having a good upbringing in Pharaoh's palace, he ends up doing a cattle keeping job for his father in law Jethro. All of this can quite easily be seen as Moses suffering so much but in the end we see that Lord was teaching him humility. Unless one has gone through humility training, they can't easily hear or submit to the voice of God's instructions. Zechariah 13:9 - And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God. 3. Jacob's story: Genesis Chapters 25 - 50. He went through a lot of fire, right from birth, in order to qualify for his new name Isreal, the apple of God's eye. To the extent that even when God thinks to send Jesus down here on earth, Jesus is referred to as the King of Isreal. 4. Hosea the prophet. For this one you'll have to read the entire chapter. But in summary, Hosea is divinely instructed by God to marry a prostitute called Gomer, which brought Hosea such heartache, which was the foundation of his ministry. Through Hosea, the Lord told the people of Isreal to stop their promiscuity, idolatry, and iniquity and to return to Him (God) in humility and faithfulness towards the law of the covenant. I could go on and on. This sort of information is life to somebody that has a calling upon their lives. A person that wishes to pursue their purpose in life. My desire and prayer is that everybody gets into a personal relationship with God. The reason why humility is very important is because you stop to live for yourself (which is pride), and you live for God and His people. Thank you and God bless you as you dig into the scriptures for more truth. I have only given you a crumb of the bread.

I am sure if Michelle had met this guy today, she would not have married him because nowdays there is so much information out there about red flags and what to look out for. She must have been misled bambi. She also seems like such a good person who only wanted to meet a good man.

The way we Christians over spiritualise everything is crazy. We need to know how to balance life btn spiritual matters and physical matters. A life partner you chose not God for real. I was dating a pastor and i had all these dreams that he was the one and people who dont know about us were saying the same. But what is on ground is not what i desire as a husband. He doesn't provide he doesn't call doesn't care, the only time he'll remember me is when he wants something for Himslef. I told God this one i dont want and ive broken in off. Stop spiritualising everything.

You are joking!!.Look at the people in the bible,and want they went through even if it's God's will.God says you get in there and work at your marriage. God speaks in multiple ways; 1 - Sometimes he puts it i our hearts Acts 7:23 - Now when he was forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren, the children of Isreal. Judges 14:1-4 Now Samson went down to Timnah, and saw a woman in Timnah of the daughters of the Philistines. So he went up and told his father and mother, saying, “I have seen a woman in Timnah of the daughters of the Philistines; now therefore, get her for me as a wife.” Then his father and mother said to him, “Is there no woman among the daughters of your brethren, or among all my people, that you must go and get a wife from the uncircumcised Philistines?” And Samson said to his father, “Get her for me, for she pleases me well.” But his father and mother did not know that it was fof the Lord-that He was seeking an occasion to move against the Philistines. For at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel. 2 - Sometimes it’s a voice but only you can hear it. 1 Samuel 3:1-10 And the child Samuel ministered unto the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was precious in those days; there was no open vision. And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see; And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the Lord, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep; That the Lord called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I. And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down. And the Lord called yet again, Samuel. In order to turn man from his deed, And conceal pride from man, He keeps back his soul from the Pit, And his life from perishing by the sword. IN ALL OF THE ABOVE WAYS AND MORE, WHAT IS KEY TO NOTE IS THAT YOU ALWAYS READ THE BIBLE BECAUSE THAT IS THE PRIMARY WAY OF HEARING FROM HIM OR CONFIRMING IF IT IS INDEED HIS VOICE THAT YOU ARE HEARING

my sister our God is not misleading the voice that you heard I don't think it was God but that of familiar spirit and yes the devil is able to bring provisions also and you relied on people's opinions a lot

Is time, you slow dawn, in God chosing a partner thing. In relationship a Christian must chose a Christian and give permit time to let you know the person and my best advise of all, is a year can help you know the person.

I believe that God can give people a good person. If they don't aline and treat them right to the point that it could cost them their destiny, God can take them away

If God was in this relationship why did it fail? I don't think he was the right man.

God can open a door for you but let's be real the bible says, let God be true and everyman a liar. The reason why they fail is because of us, lack of knowledge on how to handle situations, character, endurance

My dear the God we serve is not an author of confusion so this wasnt him speaking to you in the first place.

You seem to have been led by superstitious occurences. God is not a God of superstitions

You should have applied common sense, and discernment and prayed more for verification, this person did this, do that doesn't matter, is good to be too spiritual but you can sharp physically, Christian are human beings they make mistakes
