This guy is actually bringing people back into collecting. His takes on the characters he's been given are awesome. Actually brought me back in after giving up on marvel, but only to read his comics.
I absolutely love Mike's interviews. The perfect combination of knowledge and being personable.

Donny looks like Bradley Coopers younger brother.
Donny Cates is an amazing writer. He's also very cuter.

Michael Collins not true. He said eff you to the trolls being hyper critical over the New Warriors book. There were a LOT of hateful things said over that book, some very bigoted and horribly inappropriate. Donny thought that was uncool and spoke up. Now people are trying to spin it and say he said eff you to ‘all’ of his fans, which just isn’t true. Most of the people mad at him weren’t really “his fans” anyway. If you ever get a chance to meet Donny in person, you’ll see he’s a good guy, and loves his fans.

these dudes should just learn to keep their mouths shut on twitter and stuff. just like any other human, we dont need to know or care how you think politically or what you believe. when you start doing that, you automatically alienate 50% of your fan base
