You know what dont make sense Living tribunal being made to made order in the Universe yet losing every fight Galactus did more than him

I've never been in love with the idea of The One Above All being strongest (even if that is his freaking name) but I'd appreciate if the people writing Marvel Comics actually sat down and tried to figure out whose job it is to do what. Like there's how many Anti-Gods/Void-Lords in Marvel? Null? Oblivion? The One Below All? Are they all working together or do they represent different opposites of creation? And I stg dude The Living Tribunal gets chumpier and chumpier every time he appears. This guy used to be the Second in Command and now he's nothing but Oblivion's toilet paper.

Well the one below all is the one above all, it’s just the form he takes when he “hulks out.” Basically when the one above all loses themselves to emotion and gives into anger and destruction they become the one below all. To remedy this the hulk was created to harness all of that and become the embodiment of the one above all’s destructive power. Aside from that there is established one to be multiple versions of hell and heavens which is why we have guys like mafisto who isn’t satan but is in his realm, or Angelia who comes from a realm called heaven but is tied to the world tree.

The One Above all is no longer the strongest. For instance the Lost One full power is definetely stronger(although it has some specific weakness built into him which is, he cannot beat celestials). Then you have Oblivion who is the embodiment of nothingness. Then you have Enigma, a being even the one above all was kinda afraid of, but has not fought yet.

It's not just the Cosmology, but you get these new writers who want to do their own thing and do not respect the work of the previous writers! I really feel that should not be allowed, they at least respect the lore in Star Wars for the most. For example they changed Apocalypse back story just because it's cool to make a villain that is pure evil (Even the Phoenix Force stated he was pure evil) but because Jonathan Hickman did well in Avengers, and because he is popular right now, they just let him have full control over the X-Men!!! Like look what he did to Beast!! The reason why people loved Beast was because he proved you shouldn't judge someone based on how they look!! The whole point of Beast was to show that, he has been one of the calmest down to earth of all the X-Men even though he looks scary, and that was the whole story with his character! Now they made him basically pure evil, and had him try killing Wolverine! It's like Marvel did not care at all about the character of Beast they just wanted shock value!! I think people are getting tired and fed up with it, and I hate to say the word "woke" because dumb people use that word just for anything they do not like, but I will say if Marvel actually cared as much to do these characters right, and respect the fans of these characters as they care about pushing agenda's no one cares about or wants then comics would go back to being good!!! Some of these writers though, they disrespect the writers that come before them and act like they made up the canon, and each new writer seems to do that over at Marvel!! I would argue that even DC is not like this with their characters as much as Marvel is. Darkseid is pure evil, he didn't just get a new wife that he loves out of nowhere lol. Or doing what he does to save the world. Superman has not turned pure evil and just getting a kick out of torturing his ex friends. Marvel is the only company who does not care really. As I said you do not even see Star Wars doing this (they just add new characters, which is fine)

Vader is not a hero (until the end of Return of the Jedi) and Luke is not a villain. But with Marvel they keep doing bs like that and it takes people out of the stories who are fans of both heroes and villains of these stories! We do not need to see a pure evil villain become a hero, and we do not need to see a hero that has always been a hero and someone to look up to become a villain!

Nothing makes sense in Marvel. They say Phoenix force is everything that will ever be, yet Beyonders realm is considered separate. They say Franklin Richards will be the only one left along with Galactus when everything ends, yet Oblivion will also be there. As a ghost rider fan who started reading with the jason aaron lucifer hunt and heaven's on fire story and then went back to the beginning and read through the rest, I more than understand your frustration with all the needless retconning. I swear, they change something about ghost rider every other storyline. And then they'll change something that will change one of the changes and just leave you scratching your head. You have no idea how many arguments I've gotten into trying to explain how zarathos is not a heavenly spirit of vengeance.

About the cosmology part I also agree with, but if Marvel does not care about their characters they sure are not going to care about their cosmology. Jonathon Hickman is now writing G.O.D.S, and I bet money they will not mention the Mother of Horrors in the comic, they probably will make Oblivion the true big bad of the Marvel Universe in G.O.D.S because as I said I know for a fact that Jonathon Hickman does not care about the lore that came before him, and since he is popular right now Marvel will allow him to make changes even though it makes no sense and also HURTS canon. At this point Marvel should just focus on doing different universes for these characters.

G.O.D.S. is supposed to streamline the cosmology, so I'm giving it a shot. Edit: also, the X-Office has been as consistent as its ever been since Krakoa started.

It's crazy cause editors jobs should be easier now since the internet is around, it should not be this inconsistent!

Marvel: damn… we fucked up our cosmology. Let’s make a new cosmic energy field or omnipotent entity to fix it! DC: Damn… no one liked Perpetua being the creator of the multiverse. The G.O.D,S, series is supposed to be establishing a proper cosmology. We shall see. I have always been a Dr.Strange fan with my favorites being issues 55-81 + the new Strange Tales 1-19. Marvel has been suffering from the same thing Dragonball does in a sense but DB does have an established cosmology they just make the mistake of having their regular characters easily approach or exceed their "gods". I am going to comment on the woke issue though. A few years ago in an argument with the anti Vic Mignona crowd I was told by a comic book writer that they were going to ruin it on purpose. I told them I still had the old stories and they claimed they would take care of those as well. Its that attitude of the creators that I have absolutely no respect for. They can wipe their asses with them. I dont care what a persons race or sexual preference is. I do care when a beloved character is changed just for the hell of it though. Make new characters. It does little good to say that though. The BBC has doubled down when they should have retconned. So, fuck'em. Heres hoping the G.O.D.S. is successful. Good luck and Merry Christmas.

It has shown us how over focused we are as a society on entertainment. As to the other bit I just think they should make original characters instead of purposefully trying to ruin beloved ones. That would be like us taking a gay character and suddenly have him "see the error of his ways" and turn straight. I was okay with Doctor Who turning female but not okay with the forced messaging and totally screwing up decades of backstory all to reinforce that message. The message has taken priority over story and that can never end well. I could fix it all in one simple episode and I am sure they are aware of it as well but they will not because they are afraid of the social media backlash they would receive. You cannot just assume that someone is classified as an -ist or -phobe of some type just because they disagree with you.

The fact people are dislike-bombing your vids is pretty cowardly given that people can’t see the dislikes and won’t know something is up. Also I’m more of a DC fan myself but marvel is some good shit too. I’m subbed to their app. They got fun comics to read.

The problem I have with the cosmology is the inconsistency and levels of power. The living tribunal, the second most powerful being next to the one above all has been taken Ls left and right since the introduction of the ivory kings, When Laura chaos and master order fused and killed him, I know at least two other occasions where he has been killed. Then they keep adding more cosmic level people to the mix, Eddie Brock, becoming the king in black and being the antithesis to the beyonders, Carnage becoming his equal by stealing codex’s. So on and so forth. It gets confusing as well as tiring.

Marvel is indeed a mess. I am wondering what the plan is on all of that one series book of the cosmolagy should be put out and they stick with it once done as of who and what goes where.

Its just not cosmology but comic book writing in general. Too many cooks in the kitchen that don't know what the fuck they're making. Trying to change people's origins for that shock factor. In Avengers: 1,000,000 B.C. #1, it is shown that Gaea is his mother, and at some point, when he was a baby, Thor died and was resurrected by Pheonix and that's why Pheonix sees herself as Thor's mother and why Thor has Pheonix powers. Idk if they changed that. I don't know that much about Thor 😂😅

The funny thing is that they came up with an excuse for this back in the 90s when it turned out in the yearbook of the Fantastic Four that the Celestials do not have one origin, there are several of them and they are all true and wrong at the same time, and with reality, several cosmologies can work there at the same time, even contradicting each other. It makes power-level ambiguous, maybe even trivial, leaving only conclusions as the temporary measure of power. Dealing with these extreme disparities in power should establish a reliable causality....a seriousness taken from DEFINITE THINGS. At the very least, power-levels that aren't consistent and rigidly defined, are not as impressive or psychologically satisfying. The freedom of creativity shouldn't sacrifice the reader's ability to respond with emotions/perceptions that rely upon credible, rigid causality and consequence

Lore of Why I HATE The Marvel Cosmology | A Rant Momentum 100

This is what they should've done, they should have many races of gods created by many different ways. One race of beings began as cosmic cubes that through frequent use gain sentience and grow powerful by sentience and syphoning cosmic energy and going off into the void of space, return some time later to earth, those are Gods made by accident or exposure of energy! Second would be Celestial experiments that evolve to levels past their powers. Thos are Celestial made Beyonders, then finally TOAA amd The First Firmament create naturally made Beyonders made straight from their image! Three races of Beyonders, nobody is retconed! That means at any given moment one Beyonder can beat another based on who can use their powers skillfully and prove to gain the win! Example Thanos beat Tryco Slatious a.k.a Champion of the universe by skill and trickery and Champion used the power gen to it's highest potential using the full on power primodial and still lost to Thanos, now if Champion of the universe fight's Thanos again, Thanos needs to come up with a new strategy because the Champion of the universe will regain that power gem and improve on it's potential, Thanos can and may get stomped next time! It may be another fight where Champion could one shot Thanos and shut that down quckly! Another thing I uderstand they want to make us see there are always greater relms, more powerful beings,infinite possibilities, they're endless, but also make it possible that any being through skill or timing can defeat even more powerful beings, this way everyone has a chance to have their spotlight moment! Ok you guys may have heard me say how I'm not fond of Gambit, but it's not that I hate him, part of my gripe is he hasn't developed any appeal that I have with other characters, and I don't think he and Rogue match. Rogue is somewhere far different in popularity and for reasons I can't explain, the first time I discovered Rogue was her encounter with the Avengers,that night I dreamt she was going to get big, but that was just a dream. As I woke up from that dream, I was hit by a devine premonition showing Rogue rising to iconism, then almost overnight, literally the next day Marvel put her with the x-men and changed her from villian to hero and it exploded like the big bang times infinity! It just happened to click with fans at the right time, right place and the right way! Gambit unfortunately didn't come to me the same way, he hasn't been developed enough like Spider-Man and others yet and I keep seeing another woman with him! Maybe she isn't developed yet, so they can match that up and work on development and stay consitent on it.Dont do one thing today, then change it the next, keep developing, improving! That goes for the cosmology, everyone should have equal shine and since they can't decide which origin is the Beyoder, make many races of Beyonders! You can even do this, one of the x-men find astrange looking gem or cube that react's to powers, then combine any emotional angst and we know x-men suffer this far more than FF and Avengers, and the cube exposed to all those powers pouring out, the cube grows to infinite power, interdimentionally, then emotionally gain sentience, chooses which x-men's image to take or become a Beyonderlike mutant! That'll sell, it did with Onslaught, we can use it this way I have some ideas!

Progressisvm is a loose term for pushing forward not cux they want to push forward 24/7 but cuz their goals are not met. When the goals are some will become conservative. No iedolgy is for costant change cuz we humans fear change istelf. Marvel does do retcons too bro. The major difference between Marvel & DC is that Marvel doesnt't do hard reboots like DC does. Every few years DC will have a CRISIS level event or something like Rebirth. But when Marvel does retcons, for the most part it turns out bad, i.e., trying to make Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver "enhanced humans" when they'd been the mutant children of Magneto all along since their inception in 1963. Is been long established that is you gain your powers thru artificial means, like science, radioactive spider bites, lab accidents, super serums, potions etc, it makes you enhanced. It you acquired biological powers i.e. Deadpool, you're a mutate, but if you were actually born w/powers, that means you're a mutant. Mutants powers normally 1st manifest during puberty during heightened states of emotional duress. For years Wanda & Pietro were mutants, but at the time Fox still had the film rights to the X-Men & FF characters, so they couldn't be in the MCU because the Fox/Disney deal hasn't gone thru yet. So the comics tried to make what was going on in the rooms instead of the other way around, so Marvel retconned the twins history making them altered by the High Evolutionary. However, realizing their mistake, they're undoing that, essentially retconning their retcon. Also when Marvel tried to launch Marvel 2.0 after Secret Wars 2015 ended, let's just say that didn't work. So while DC can do Rebirth, that doesn't work for Marvel. As for the cosmology, the heirachy remains pretty much the same, w/the only major change being The Living tribunal, as he has always been 2nd most powerful in the Marvel Universe, but in Jonathon Hickman's Avengers & New Avengers, The Beyonders went across the the multiverse killing of all the cosmic entities. It took 3 Beyonders to kill the LT. it off all the cosmic entities the Beyonders didn't lol, was the One Above All. What's that tell you? Make mine Marvel!

marvels cosmology is actually organised than dc.does dc even have a cosmology other than perpetua and spectre( both look goofy btw and not cosmic at all)

The problem is CURRENT Marvel. Classic Marvel cosmology was perfect, just as you say. There is NO editors doing $#&* these days. It made a deep and structural lore. Superhero’s weren’t even noticeable by most cosmic beings. It’s why I loved Marvel. Now Marvel has power creeped its characters to ruin them.

Marvel $#&*$ on there cosmology. When years ago when comics were awesome Dr Doom and Strange together were scared $#$&*$$ to even enter hades and possibly be noticed by Mephisto to Doom just punching and rolling around with him in his realm!?!? Writing and world building has went to $#&#. Comics and writers deserve to go out of business.

Name one story from the main continuity (because that's canon and main Superman is usually the one who beats high level beings) where Superman, without being weakened/handicapped in any way (mind controlled, poisoned, tired, distracted etc) and without holding back, wants to fight and beat Batman and loses against him. Batman beating a weakened Superman doesn't make him more powerful than Superman.

You’re making it sound like the woke shit and the cosmology don’t come from the same problem. The issue is that fans are still consuming the product regardless if it is good or bad. This is all just expensive oficializad fan fiction and it’s been like that even before modern day except now it’s just more noticeable cause it’s more mainstream. We got like a dozen Spider-Men running around but you mfs only care about the power scaling. The writers and editors are just giving you self inserts and OCs. It’s why so many ideas seem to be recycled.
