@@TheStoryTillNow Agreed - it will be interesting to see what you think once it's lifted. This is just the known pains of being an early adopter of a new platform that has to wait on 3rd manufacturers to catch up and, in this current age, you're also stuck with limited availability of what has been manufactured. Hell, I can't believe you even managed to get the Bronco itself.

Too bad to hear about the fallout from the branches. I don't blame others for setting their priorities different, and more power to them! As for me: My jeep had less than 3000mi on the odometer when I took it through some backcountry for the first trip and gouged the heck out of it! It's still less than 20k, on the original tires and will probably need paint before too long if I keep using it like a Jeep!

factory skids on SUV's almost always leave gaping holes between cross members, leaving the cross members to act like anchors on these sorts of obstacles. More clearance would help, but so would a better skid plate design. I bolted 1/4" plate to the bottom of my H3. Picks up from behind the factory front skids and goes all the way back to the rear-most cross member before the rear driveshaft dips down and it transitions to the gas tank skid. No more big holes between cross members to get anchored on. Where it used to hang up on obstacles like this, it will usually drag itself through now.

I got nothing against built rigs but I've learned that lift and bigger tires just gets stuck farther away from help. I'm good with mostly stock.

@@vitaminb4869 Didn't you just get checked for your negativity a few comments back?? Still haven't learned your lesson I see... if James doesn't want to risk his rig, he doesn't have too. If he wants to stay home and not adventure, guess what, he doesn't have too. The beauty of buying something with your own money means ITS YOURS and you can do whatever the hell you want with it.

Definitely a little out classed by the other rigs you were with, but they are still a very capable vehicle and very sturdy looking frame.

Are 35” tires just small for the types of terrain you were doing? What size were other folks working with? Great vid thanks!

I don't think 35s are small, although most people are running at least 37s for what we do. It's more about suspension height.

Should get you two (you and Casey) up here to Alaska so we can show your our forms of pin-striping I totally agree with you that exploring trails out in the country in small groups is the most enjoyable. Big long lines of vehicles just get tedious really quick.

Dumb question… how do you like the tires on the bronco? I actually bought them for my jk because the tire tread. Just something about them. I love the tires, they are grippy and not seen on a jk yet. But they are still new to me. Will the sidewall last is my main concern. I daily drive mine and wheel when I can.

Really nice scenery Great adventure but don't bring a new toy to an old party The other kids don't care that your toy is nice and shiny there's are already scratched up Sometimes fitting in means squeezing your way through the crowd thanks for sharing what a bronco can do off the showroom

Why on earth are they wheelin’ without a single set of traction boards?? :-) incredible scenery, great video. Pretty impressive that a stock Bronco was able to keep up with all the lifted jeeps. Yeah, a small lift and some 37‘s might be in order lol
