Bronco - Badlands VS Wildtrak - What's the difference?

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

We are giving away the ULTIMATE F-250! Check it out! bit.ly/F250_Giveaway
Today we are comparing a badlands bronco versus a bronco wild truck! The 2021 Ford bronco Badlands is considered the king of slow speed Offroad! The badlands bronco features things like a stabilizer bar disconnect and a premium HOSS suspension and System! The bronco wild track comes standard with the Sasquatch package, and it is designed to be more of a high speed off routing vehicle! It also has a HOSS suspension system That is lifted about 1 1/2 inches to make room for 35 inch Goodyear Wrangler tires! One of my favorite features of the wild track is the Baja mode, which enables you to drive using high speed in desert situations!

    Quick disconnects or anti rock bar will probably be available for the Bronco so a disconnecting ARB isn’t really that huge of a deal considering you can defeat it easily and likely more reliably. Like auto locking hubs vs manual. This is coming from a Rubicon owner that has also disconnected their ARB on previous vehicles manually. Sure it’s nice, but when mine fails I’ll delete it via my tazer and just throw some quick disconnects on. Wish it had locking hubs instead of the FAD as well.

    Hey! So i wanted the Outer Banks because as you've said, the color match fenders and door handles/mirrors are nice! But I am very interested in the mean big look that the sasquatch package offers. Since thats standard on the wildtrak - would you recommend going wildtrak + lux package, or stay with the outerbanks and add Sas? that way you get the mirrors and door handles color matched, but you get the lift and plastic fender flares. There are too many options, and I am confused...please advise :) ...other then outside appearance, idk what differences are with the wildtrak and the OB.

  • @ratkicker007

    @ratkicker007

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@Merica79 yes that’s often true but it’s much more true in this case because the bronco is a purpose built off road vehicle to directly compete with wrangler. Most other vehicles are just road driving cars to take people from A to B so there isn’t much unknown about what dynamics, features and technology is needed to make a successful road driving car. But entry to the off road market involves more risk and unknown and therefore will have much more rooom for improvement in a gen 2. Especially since the bronco includes new design for fully independent front suspension, turbo engine, frameless doors and many other features not yet established strongly in the off road community. Jeep has solid front axle, most off road jeeps are naturally aspirated gas although they recnentky introduced turbo and diesel options, and jeeps have framed doors. All I’m saying is the gen 2 will be a big leap for the bronco because ford will have feedback from all the users about how many of these features last over time.

  • @Crumb_Trails

    If I'm correct, the new Wildtrack comes with the upgraded HOSS 3.0 socks and the HOSS 3.0 steering rack. I wish the Sasquatch came with the upgraded steering rack as it has a bigger electric assist motor.

    Question I want to know the answer to: Since Badlands doesn't have sport mode and Wildtrak does, can you emulate sport on the Badlands by selecting Baja and changing to 2H or 4A?

  • @FordRaptorAdventures

    @FordRaptorAdventures

    At least on the second Gen Raptor you can do this. Baja mode automatically shifts into 4H, but then you can go back to 2H and enjoy all the benefits of Baja in 2wd

    That 17 mpg for the 2.7l and 300-320 miles range top is killing the product.They could at least give it a bigger fuel tank.It was shown there is a big unused space that could hold a additional fuel tank.

    The front bumper, bash plates, rock rails and seats on the WT you are showing are all upgrades. WT has sandstone - not navy pier - but it does have the non-matching blue interior accents for some unknown reason. WT = fugly interior, no sta-bar disconnect, no wash out, no rock rails or tube step, less undercarriage armor. As configured, the two you have shown are both ~59k assuming they are Lux interior. -sure leather would drive up the BL but then you lose the washout. What is the advantage of Wildtrak over a squatched Badlands? I'm not seeing it.
