Glad you like your new bass, Phil!
Since nobody notices the bass player until he screws up or does something inappropriate, i can understand anyones confusion over the floating guitar and disembodied voice. Phil is actually there.
Love it when we see the DiMarzio clip locks on the very first video. We know it's the mother of all keepers!
Killer bass playing Phil! Love the channel

Could you please review the Larry Carlton H7V with P90's. I know you didn't like the humbucker version because of the thin neck. Thanks.
What did we learn from this, Class? We learned that we should tell Phil to do more crazy stuff.

Ditto ...
Short scales deserve way more love than they get. I will say this till I die lol
Cool bass, Phil! I LITERALLY just got my Kiesel today. A tropic green Delos with hot pink pickups (HSS). I also got white sides and back. This thing is a work of art. My first Kiesel and definitely not my last.
That's a gorgeous bass! And with you playing it, it sounds as good as it looks. Congrats! 🤘
One of my pals just got their custom built Kiesel guitar 2 days ago! It's so beautiful and came just as he wanted it and specced it, and plays great!!! It's epic
I love that video earlier this year (I think it was at sweetwater?) and the guy is like “when a real bass player…” right as Phil starts ripping it on the bass. lol
The white back looks very 21st century. I love it! Love the 'pink' too... more like a brick color; faded brick into darker brick.
The love/speechless part starts at 5:20 and then culminates at 5:55... "I love everything about it." You can't pay an actor enough to transmit this kind of message. Great vid... especially for Valentines Day!🥰 MORE BASS!
I have three Kiesel headless guitars and a Kiesel headless Vader 6 string (34” scale). At first the ergonomics were really tough to get used to, but after extending the strap button at the horn and moving a strap button to the back of the body it plays great. It’s a perfect bass to bring to gigs and has become my primary bass. I’ve been playing bass for over 35 years and the Kiesel basses rival anything I’ve played from Fender, Warwick, Ken Smith, Lakeland etc….
What a SWEET Bass! Congrats on a well Spec'd Project. Looks to me like it "ticked" all of your boxes. ....and your playing is fantastic as well! Dang......
WOW!! what a bass!! kiesel stuff is just amazing, thanks for sharing :)
Definitely looking at Kiesel for my next guitar!
Wow absolutely stunning, and great playing too Phil. Congratulations
Fantastic. Great playing, can't get enough of these guys.
I think the 30" is the most clever choice if you don't play bass as your main instrument. It's easer to play and more confortable. Anyway I prefer satin necks

@@BitMatt1 yes, me too. My one, not yours. Joking!
Congrats! That's SO cool!
Incredible!! Congrat's!!
Looking forward to getting a Vader 7 strings multiscale. It's going to be kind of a leap of faith. Thank you so much for your video. It encourages me to go crasy on a Kiesel !
Wow! Beautiful and sounds fantastic.
Dude!! That is frigging beautiful!
Hot damn that’s a sick looking bass!! Some top playing too there sir!! Nice one Phil. 🤘🏻
Awesome! Congrats!
What a beautiful dream bass. Your playing was so nice to listen to. Thanks for the commentary. All the best.
Just got my 1st bass today. Went full scale and so much fun to thump around on not knowing how to play it. Know just a few riffs. Being a guitar player over 30 years will be a fun new chapter. Killer playing, by the way, an awesome instrument. Loved the colors!
That thing looks and sounds great and great playing too!
I have a yellow one. One of the best buys ever! So comfortable and light As a bass teacher, it really helps me maintain my body during classes. As I bend, turn to the piano, leaning down to write down some notes. The perfect fit!
Man, Phil, that thing is badass!!
Sweet! Thanks, Phil!
Very nice. I think most of the community would love to see video of you playing out with that thing.
Congratulations on the great new instrument. You've been hinting at this for months; it's fun to see your reaction.
Awesome. Been going back and forth over whether or not to order a 6-string Vader bass. This definitely pushes me in the "go for it" direction. Thanks for doing this.
Great slap playing Phil. I enjoy listening to you play as much as the review.
Phil is gobsmacked... in a good way . That's a stunning guitar!
Whoa the unexpected Eugene Abdukhanov Jinjeresque tapping lick was absolutely fantastic 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
Glad you like it. Always fun to receive something unusual like this, especially when you've specced it out yourself.
Holy crap, your bass playing is stellar!
I love it !!
Very cool bass, Phil. I recently bought a 32" scale Ibanez because of your comments on bass during podcasts. I love that scale length. Thank you for all the great advice. I would love to see a video of your bass rig and more bass stuff in general.
I love the white back. That pink front is beautiful too.
Great looking bass. The details are immaculate in the video. I remember trying a few friends Carvin basses in the 80s and 90s. I was never as impressed with the basses as I was with their guitars. Seems that Keisel up'd their game on basses in recent years. You are correct on headless basses taking more abuse and not breaking strings as often as standard basses. The also stay in tune better.
Beautiful instrument, and you sound great with it sir
Beautiful, just beautiful Phil.....
yay! more bass content! I know it probably doesn't get the same traction on this channel but I've always valued your bass-centric videos, especially since you did the spot on the pjb BG400.
Beautiful
when you get a new piece of gear and it just blows you away. thats the best.
That bass is jaw dropping la gorgeous Phil! Now I want a Keisel!
very cool, beautiful top and it sounds super as well
Beautiful bass! Sounds great! We need a video of a live gig under the lights.
Incredible playing. And incredible bass.
Congratulations on the new bass. Very nice
Love that color combo! Great sound also!
I started foot tapping to your last groove. Sounds great, looks fantastic and you're a solid bass guitar player! Thanks.
Great bass Phil you look so happy playing.
excellent! great sounding pickups!!!
Awesome looking bass! More basses please!
freakin killer bass build. nice taste brother.
That's a beautiful bass!
Loved seeing your reaction and excitement. It seems rare to have a purchase surpass your expectations.
Great sound!
Love it. Pink and white great combo
Gorgeous
This Vader is soooo good... it almost makes me want to try Bass. Excellent playing Phil
Your bass playing is really good. I know that you know the statistics of what types of videos get the views, but I always like your bass videos.
Beautiful top. And the white back and sides accent it wonderfully.
That’s a great looking bass! Good job on the specs.
love it! Vader is my favorite guitar but for some reason i never thought of a Vader Bass, this is impressive!
I could listen your bass playing all day long, no band, so pleasant on the ear and soul
Great looking bass!
Beautiful! Congratulations! I’m waiting on my own Kiesel 5 string Bromberg bass- in rainbow sparkle!
🤯 What a Freakin’ Badass Beautiful Bass❗️
Great guitar on all levels..... Great playing too Phil
Sweet, sweeeeet bass! So glad the gamble paid off!!
Thanks Phil, your review is helpful. Especially going headless.
"it looks so good it looks fake" I usually hate this kind of bass but seeing how you describe it has given me a little more love for this style of instrument.
Wow, that bass sounds great - looks nice...nice playing as well! Enjoy it!
Yeah, it's a Beauty!
Your new bass is so beautiful and badass and sounds fukin fantastic!!!!
Very NICE!
Nice... Thanks For Sharing 🎸 🎶
With the chops you have on the bass I would have figured your wall would’ve been lined with more basses and guitars! Nice demo man
I’m digging the color choices! I might have to make my next guitar a Kiesel
That is some good bass playing and what a great bass . You hit a bit of Higher ground there…. Classic!
That's pretty sweet. I don't usually like not having a headstock, but it works here.
that bass is SWEET!
That thing is KILLER!!😺
Beauty!
Very cool!
Wow that's beautiful
Love that bass! I want the exact same in a six string electric 🤩
Was just listening to the podcast from the end of Nov ("The Companies Who Make the Best Copy of A Copy" - where you incidentally answered my question about the Kaizen so I watched it live and then months later re-listened apparently) where you were talking about this bass (and the other you ordered) and how you were waiting to post the video and were going to talk about how they had to scrap the first one and restart so it took awhile to get it. So I was just wondering when the video would finally drop and heres my answer. Awesome video, Phil and awesome playing!
Very nice design and ss to boot !
Sweet!
CRAZY in an awesome way! It looks like a desert!
That's a beautiful bass Phil! I just ordered a Thanos guitar today! Roasted ash body, upgraded zebrawood top, 3pc maple roasted maple neck, upgraded pale moon ebony fretboard, yellow to red fade with rear natural clear. Can't wait to see how it turns out!
Nice!
Looks cool.
